So Was the Navy Seal Team Raid and Killing of Bin Laden Captured on Video Or Not?

And the story changes again …

So what is the truth as to what occurred in the US Seal team raid in the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden? Was the raid caught on VIDEO or not? According to CBS News, the entire Seal raid was captured on tiny helmet cams worn by all Navy Seals. It seems to be yet another version of the story as to what happened in a killing of Bin Laden. Why has it been so difficult for Obama’s folks to communicate what actually happened?

A new picture emerged Thursday of what really happened the night the Navy SEALs swooped in on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan.

CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reports the 40 minutes it took to kill bin Laden and scoop his archives into garbage bags were all recorded by tiny helmet cameras worn by each of the 25 SEALs.

Officials reviewing those videos are still reconstructing a more accurate version of what happened. We now know that the only firefight took place in the guest house, where one of bin Laden’s couriers opened fire and was quickly gunned down. No one in the main building got off a shot or was even armed, although there were weapons nearby.

Wait a minute, via the Drudge Report, from the UK Telegraph comes the previous story that there was a VIDEO black out during the raid.CIA Director Leon Panetta stated there was a period of 25 minutes when the Seals were in the compound that the situation room did not know what was going on.

As asked by Hot Air, how could that be possible since all members of the US Navy Seals had helmet cams? What is the real story and why is getting the truth as to what happened so hard for Obama’s minions? Hot Air also has a great theory on the horrified look of Hillary Clinton in the famed “situation room” pic. Its worth the read and is completely plausible.

Leon Panetta, director of the CIA, revealed there was a 25 minute blackout during which the live feed from cameras mounted on the helmets of the US special forces was cut off.

A photograph released by the White House appeared to show President Barack Obama and his aides in the situation room watching the action as it unfolded. In fact they had little knowledge of what was happening in the compound.

In an interview with PBS, Mr Panetta said: “Once those teams went into the compound I can tell you that there was a time period of almost 20 or 25 minutes where we really didn’t know just exactly what was going on. And there were some very tense moments as we were waiting for information.

Also according to CNN, three of Obama’s wives widows have been interviewed by ths U.S. intelligence officers under the supervision of Pakistani’s intelligence service. The three were hostile toward the US officials. What a shock, it’s not like we killed their husband.

The women — who were all interviewed together this week — were “hostile” toward the Americans, according to a senior Pakistani government official with direct knowledge of the post-bin Laden investigation and two senior U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the matter. The eldest of the three widows spoke for the group.

you will never get the real story or the real truth from a democrat, no matter which dummy it may be.

      Guys -

If there are helmet cams, then We are not releasing it because the SEAL team did something they were not supposed to do. Whether by command, accident, or individual decision something went wrong on that raid. Is Obama covering his own ass, or the SEAL’s ass who made the “mistake”? Could be either.

Though there may be helmet cams, there might not be. This SEAL team is black-ops. There regular MO would be against collecting evidence of anything that they do; I doubt there helmets generally have cameras on them.

Flippy – please stop preaching to us with you liberal drool…

You have no idea that the Seals did something they weren’t supposed to do. Care to back up that claim? This team does not go off the grid and they know their mission when they are called and then deployed to carry out that mission. I love how liberals twits like you are now blaming this team that protects us to the depths of which you have no idea; protecting our freedom so libtards like you can write the dribble you post on here.

Or is it that Obama is pumping up these lies to try and keep it fresh; you know his claims it was all on his direction.

The Seals are highly trained and I highly doubt nothing went wrong during the raid besides a disfunctional helicopter. If they were told to record it; then they recorded it. If they were told to cut it off at some point they would have done that.

You couldn’t last through BUDS training. You’d probably p*** your pants and cry for a return home on the first day. But yet you sit here and claim they did something out of their realm of orders. Unreal.

When are they going to get their stories straight? We have heard so many different stories from different sources and no one seems to know what really went down. If they did not have all the information then they should have kept their mouths shut until they had the correct information. All the President needed to do was say “During a special operations by our Navy Seals, Osama Bin Laden has been located and was shot and killed during the raid of the compound he was hiding in. We will release more information as we get all the details on the operation.” Instead, we get I, I, I and the story changes a dozen times. I don’t like being lied to. It’s frustrating when you can’t get a straight answer from anyone in this Administration.

I researched this a little and don’t believe there is a contradiction. Panetta said there was a gap, where they didn’t know what was happening. That could be true even if the helmet cams were continuing to record events. This is because the video recording is probably done locally to RAM carried in the cameras themselves. However, to up link the feed to a command center the Seals have to have an RF link back to aircraft which has an up link to satellite. These “hops” could have been interrupted or as a precautionary measure, the Seals could have gone into “emcon” (emissions control) to preclude their signal from giving away their position. BTW, I am not a lefty apologist, see my web page, but I have some background in this area.

Once again you fail to read what I write before going off. Settle down, dude. Though I notice you used twit instead of Sheeple, that is nice to mix it up a bit though I see you haven’t moved past libtard. I guess its nice to have reliable standbys.

Since you fail to read what I write and try a little reading comprehension, I won’t bother to respond to you either.
