Republican Primary: Alaska Incumbent US Senator Lisa Murkowski Concedes Defeat to Joe Miller

SHOCKER AND BREAKING NEWS OUT OF ALASKA … LOCAL TEA PARTY CANDIDATE DOES GOOD!

Fox News is reporting that there has been a huge upset in the Republican US Senate primary. Incumbent US Senator Lisa Murkowski has conceded the race to upstart Tea Party candidate Joe Miller. The counting began today and the more the count went on, the worse it became for Lisa Murkowski. It became evident that there was no way that the incumbent US Senator from Alaska Lisa Murkowski could win. As reported at Big Government,  ”the trend in the count of absentee ballots makes it virtually impossible that Sen. Murkowski will overtake Joe Miller in the GOP Senate Primary.”

In a major upset, Sen. Lisa Murkowski has conceded her GOP Senate primary race to Tea Party Express favorite Joe Miller, who had the backing of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

“I don’t see a scenario in which the primary will turn out in my favor,” Murkowski said in her concession speech.

Murkowski made the concession speech Tuesday night, a full week after the primary.

Murkowski trailed Miller, a Fairbanks attorney, by 1,668 votes after last week’s primary. Election officials began counting absentee and outstanding ballots Tuesday. Murkowski made slight gains, but was never able to get Miller’s lead below 1,200 votes.

Yikes, Was Obama Just Called “A Cotton Picking” President by CNN?

WOW, did a CNN host just call President Barack Hussein Obama … “the cotton-picking President”? 

Yes, that is exactly was CNN Host Rick Sanchez did. Imagine, just imagine if those same words came from the mouth of Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck? Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, et all would be marking in the streets, No Justice, No Peace … and calling for their jobs.

One would think that a media type might want to find another phrase to use when describing Americas’ first black president.

Gallup Poll: Get Ready for the 2010 Midterm Political Tidal Wave & Tsunami … Republicans Up by Record 10% Over Democrats in Generic Ballot

Democrats, what’s that sound? It’s the sound of inevitability.

Think Democrats are not beginning to panic?  Republicans have a 10% lead, 51% to 41%, over Democrats in the latest Gallup Generic Ballot poll, it is the largest lead in Gallup’s history of tracking the midterm generic ballot for Congress. The Perfect Storm of Democrat political carnage is taking shape … the more the Obama WH blames others, the more the Democrats do not listen to “We the People”, the more the polling numbers are getting to be of historic proportion. This is what occurs when a government goes completely against the will of the people and the electorate retaliates at the ballot box.

Republicans lead by 51% to 41% among registered voters in Gallup weekly tracking of 2010 congressional voting preferences. The 10-percentage-point lead is the GOP’s largest so far this year and is its largest in Gallup’s history of tracking the midterm generic ballot for Congress.

Dry Terror Run? Two Men on United Flight from Chicago Arrested in the Netherlands

Just two more misunderstood Muslims practicing their freedom of religion and their freedom to tape cell phones to Pepto-Bismol bottle and perform a dry terror run. Oh, I am sure there is just a completely innocent explanation to this, NOT!

Two men have been arrested on a United Airlines fight from Chicago in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The suspects,  Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al Soofi, of Detroit, MI, and Hezem al Murisi, are believed to have been  performing a dry terrorist run. The question that needs to be asked is how did these two even get as far as Amsterdam after being “red flagged” for screening previously? Maybe these guys were just moderates otherwise they would have had cell phones taped to Maalox instead.

U.S. officials said the two appeared to be travelling with what were termed “mock bombs” in their luggage. “This was almost certainly a dry run, a test,” said one senior law enforcement official.

A spokesman for the Dutch public prosecutor, Ernst Koelman, confirmed the two men were arrested this morning and said “the investigation is ongoing.” He said the arrests were made “at the request of American authorities.”

 Terror dry run?

Because every normal law abiding individual carries a cell phone taped to Pepto-Bismol bottle, carries box cutters, knives in their luggage and then gets on a plane headed for a different destination than their luggage.

In addition, officials said, al Soofi was found to be carrying $7,000 in cash and a check of his luggage found a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle, three cell phones taped together, several watches taped together, a box cutter and three large knives. Officials said there was no indication of explosives and he and his luggage were cleared for the flight from Birmingham to Chicago O’Hare.

Once in Chicago, officials say they learned al Soofi checked his luggage on a flight to Washington’s Dulles airport for connections on flights to Dubai and then Yemen, even though he did not board the flight himself.

Instead, officials say, al Soofi was joined by the second man, Al Murisi, and boarded the United flight from Chicago to Amsterdam.

Just curious as is Weasel Zippers, why did the TSA allow Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al Soofi to board an airplane with his luggage intact after catching him with $7K in cash, a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle, three cell phones taped together, a box cutter and three large knives? Good question. Maybe their TSA memo stated that a suspected terrorist had to possess C4 or other explosive devices? Maybe some one from the TSA would like to explain themselves as to how they endangered passengers from what was an obvious bizarre situation. But I guess because they were Muslim, that made it normal and acceptable to have a cell phone taped to a bottle of Pepto!

Political correctness will be the death of us. If it looks like a terrorist and acts like a terrorist, guess what TSA … ITS A TERROIST!
