You must admit Biden does a good job of making Obama look reasonable and intelligent by contrast. Biden also makes everyone want to protect Obama’s safety when they see what is waiting in the wings.
Obama will have Ms Clinton as a running mate in 2012. She would never run against Obama, as sometimes suggested, because the black vote would vanish if she beat him in the primaries. Biden is in semi-retirement now.

SM: No way that Hilalry is Obama’s running mate in 2012. Like her or hate her, Hillary Clinton is a smart politician. She sees that handwriting on the wall and would want nothing to do with this failed administration. Look for Hillary to leave her Sec of State position and run against Obama in 2012 when he has an approval rating in the 30′s.
You would have to be a fool to jump on this sinking ship.

I think it’s called “job security”.
Agree w/SM in #2. –Sorry to be off topic …but I’m not 100% convinced that HRC wants to give it another go at her age and at this point in her life- but one never knows for sure. Of course, that is a personal decision only HRC can make and don’t think America has heard the last from her. She should never, ever be counted out of anything in American politics.
As also pointed out, like her or hate her which many do- no one can take away the fact that she is a very intelligent, tough, experienced and capable Politician who is a strong leader and definetly not a follower or “yes” Man/Woman. HRC can and will make things happen. One of the main reasons many people claim to despise her as much as they do is exactly because she is a very smart, powerful and independent FEMALE. That intimidates many men & women on both sides of the aisle. In addition, she also has her cheating, lying Hubby to drag around her like a bowling ball. Even though WJC lied to the American Public and the whole Lewinsky scandal happened during his Presidency, he has one of the highest overall ratings in modern Political history in so far as his POPULARITY numbers go. He was very well liked domestically and internationally and continues to be. That is a fact.

Only reason he was chosen as Obama’s running mate is b/c D. Plouffe & Obama’s Campaign advisors knew at the time that Obama DESPERATELY needed to chose a VP/Running Mate who had a good amount of EXPERIENCE (older-accomplished candidate) ESPECIALLY in the area of Foreign Affairs/Diplomacy. While Biden never really did jack sh*t in his entire career, IMO…look at his history, service and record … he was one of the best VP choices at the time for the Oba-MESS-iah.
Both HRC & Sarah Palin were not treated as equals in that race, IMO. The Press and their adversaries were brutal and harder on both of them than was necessary—simply because they were women. That’s not fair!
