Obama & BP Oil Spill Crisis:RNC Releases New Ad … In Charge or On the Golf Course or Over His Head

The Barack Obama handling of the BP oil spill in the Gulf has been an “Obamination” …

Take a good look why so many Americans on the LEFT, RIGHT, CENTER and FAR LEFT are upset with President Barack Obama and his almost nonchalant attitude toward the greatest environmental disaster in American history. Why did it and does it take so long for this President to act? What we have here is not a failure of Obama to communicate, but a failure of leadership.

More scathing commentary from Hot Air about an out to lunch President that is in way over his head and now looks to the MSM for direction. AsInstapundit asks, “How many rounds did you golf while the oil was leaking, champ?”

The more trenchant RNC attack on The One today comes via Byron York, who spotlights this clever cause-and-effect list of Obama appearing to blindly follow whatever dopey conventional wisdom about the spill has captured the media’s imagination from day to day. It’s too good to excerpt; read it all and wonder no longer where that supposedly spontaneous “whose ass to kick” comment came from.

Where has this hands off President been during this crisis? It is obvious he was not on it since the beginning and if he actually was, how damning a commentary is that? Where has this President been in leadership and accepting help and advice from others outside his lockstep liberal administration? Oh wait, Obama finally lines up some foreign help for the BP oil spill … too bad it is 53 days after the Dutch offered it. Unreal, how is that Presidential Obama “Hopey, Changey” leadership working out for you America? Michelle Malkin sums it up perfectly … STUCK ON STUPID!

Three days after the Gulf oil rig explosion, the Netherlands offered to send in oil skimmers to pump oil off of the surface of the ocean. The Obama Administration turned them down because they were not 100% efficient and small amounts of oil would be pumped back into the Gulf with the excess water. EPA regulations do not allow for residue water to contain any oil. So rather than use equipment that was not 100% efficient the Obama Administration chose to let all of the oil run into the Gulf.
This is not just bad policy, it is criminal.

Can you only imagine the help the Dutch could have provided to the Gulf coast if they were allowed by Obama to start from the outset of this crisis? Barack Obama, a colossal failure to lead.

Sure, he is allowed a break once in a while, when he is done fixing the leak!

I went seven years with out a vacation to focus on a project, he can go four.

That included 56 average hours a week and I didn’t have a staff to do the actual work either.

Any of you liberals, what do you think would happen at your job if you left the frier on one night and took off the next couple of days with the keys to the burger king?

      Would your boss be happy?

Just FYI, he’s also over-his-head on the golf course.

Something wrong with this man. Pretty scary he’s the most powerful man in the world.

Yea Rusty, you know how to work. But when you never have been responsible for anything and never really worked in your life, you have to use on the job training and hope no one notices.
We don’t need a POTUS that requires on-the-job training. We need someone who is qualified by experience.

I knew this would happen. Obama has never run ANYTHING in his life administratively, and I knew over the course of 4 years it would eventually show.

What amazes me most is the amazement of others.

Wrong on Day 1. A Bag of hot air. His mission is to destroy the USA with massive new taxes.

Watched Letterman last night.. This is part of the stuff he was saying about BP..was funny, but the situation is far from funny. I can’t even watch when they show the animals. Pensioners will be the ones to pay the 20 billion anyway.

The Top 10 list “Things Overheard During President Obama’s Meeting with Tony Hayward” appeared on Wednesday’s edition of “Late Show with David Letterman.”

The list read as follows –

      10. “So, what’s new?”

      9. “Careful, you’re getting oil all over the Oval Office.”

      8. “Before I start kicking asses, would any of you like some sparkling water?”

      7. “Speaking of leaks, where is the men’s room?”

      6. “Thanks for giving my administration something to worry about besides two wars, a crushing debt, global warming and the worst economy in 70 years.”

      5. “20 billion?! Hell, I got that on me.”

      4. “Tony, I forgave you the second I heard that dreamy British accent.”

      3. “Gotta keep this short, I’m meeting with the president of Indonesia about that smoking baby.”

      2. “(Vice President Joe) Biden, please, enough with the vuvuzela.”

      1. “How can we blame this on (former President George W.) Bush and (former Vice President Dick) Cheney?”

Wednesday night on “The Late Show With David Letterman” on CBS: Last night, President Barack Obama spoke from the Oval Office about his plan to clean up the oil spill. Did you folks get a chance to see it? Yeah. Well, I’m glad that problem’s behind us.

President Obama made a lot of promises that he can’t possibly keep. I mean, it’s like he’s campaigning again, really.

He assured the nation that the gulf will be cleaned up and restored to even greater beauty and prosperity. Well, you know what that means. He’s started drinking. That’s the only possible explanation.

And then today, the president met with BP C.E.O. Tony Hayward, and Obama was demanding that BP clean up the gulf. And I’m thinking, good luck. They can’t even clean up their gas station restrooms.

    10. Michelle on June 17th, 2010 7:17 pm

It sure is nice Oblah blah is finding time to golf, party & attend concerts or & let’s not forget host Paul McCartney. Yes because I’m sure he’s got plenty of ideas on how to clean up the oil spill and cap the well. Heaven forbid that Obama not get to take a vacation this month.

What the hell does he think BP has been doing all this time? They are trying to clean up this mess. What the hell has Obama been doing? Playing Golf, throwing parties, chillin’ with his homies. Makes me sick. He’s so arrogant that he really thinks he can go on television 57 days after the explosion and try to act all bad ass claiming he’s going to kick some ass and make BP pay. What a joke. The only ass he can kick is his own.

Obama is the worst President evah and makes Jimmy Carter look like a genius. Looks like GW wasn’t so stupid afterall.

    11. Steve Holloway on June 17th, 2010 10:32 pm

Is it not becoming clear that O wanted the oil spill to be bad and get worst? He wants to force the cap and trade down our oily throat’s. He wants to stop all the oil drilling and go to clean energy in one step. Bad thing about this is the cap and trade is just a huge tax increase that fixes nothing, taking money out of our pockets and into Al Gores pockets. Its makes us pay money for something that does not exist.

In my day, this was called treason……

      http://michellemalkin.com/2010/02/17/department-of-homeland-dhimmitude-j-nap-cuddles-with-muslim-brotherhood/

Last month, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and her senior staff privately met in Washington, D.C., with a select group of Muslim, Arab, and Sikh organizations. Among the mix were
three organizations directly associated with an outlawed terrorist entity — the Muslim Brotherhood.

Secretary Napolitano spent an hour and a half briefing them on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) counter-radicalization and anti-terrorist programs. The intensive briefings spanned two days (January 27 and 28) and were
      called by the DHS.

Although there is no evidence of an exchange of classified information, this meeting was the beginning of an Obama administration program aimed at devising a new information-sharing framework with the Muslim organizations —
some of them regarded as extremist because of their ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. The group is to meet regularly
with DHS senior aides and with Napolitano. This program was imported from the United Kingdom. The
Obama administration has decided to replicate the UK program to win over Muslims and to get them
to collaborate with the federal government.

Although Matthew Chandler, deputy press secretary and spokesman for Secretary Napolitano, refused to comment
on the meetings or identify the groups that attended the two-day session, Pajamas Media has learned the identities
of a number of the participants and interviewed them — including those linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Pretty scary he’s the most powerful man in the world.

No, what’s really scary is that a total amateur is holding the most powerful office and totally denigrating it and the United States of America.

And yes Steve Holloway, it certainly appears that Obami is doing everything he can to make the gulf oil spill worse. Yesterday all oil skimmers in LA were shut down until the Coast Guard gets around to checking them for fire extinguishers and life jackets!

    14. Brenda on June 18th, 2010 9:04 am

Buster, yes. Obama certainly does aid the enemy. If nothing more by emboldening them greatly.

I was at my realtor’s last night. We girls like to sit by the lake and have a few drinks. Well, we were discussing that NONE of us feel we have a president right now. One of them was going off on him being Muslem. It’s true too. She believes the financial damage he has done is too late to fix. Probably for the rest of forever it will screw the future.

I want to add I am SO sick of Obama saying the “gov’t” is going to pay for this and that. with what? Oh, that’s right. The White House can order more printed. If they can…please someone explain why can’t we?

You guys are all funny. You can tell everyone who posted is republican. And this article was written by a republican. I saw the same thing from Democrats when Bush was on office. The bottom line is that Repuplicans are gonna bash the democrats and vice versa. If the oil was stopped on day one you guys would have something to say. What do you want him to do, put on scuba gear and dive down there and stop the leak himself??
