Barack Obama Down to 45% Approval in Rasmussen Poll … PPP: More People Think GWB Did Better Job with Katrina than Obama with Oil Spill

How low can he go?

If Obama’s handing of his first year and a half in office was not bad enough between the economy, unemployment, record budget deficits, no job creation, continued government spending and Obamacare … now he is faced with the image that the American people have that he has no leadership skills with the BP oil spill crisis.

According to the latestRasmusseen poll, President Barack Hussein Obama is at a 45% approval and a 54% disapproval rating. Only 24% of American voters strongly approve of the jobs that  Obama is doing. How is that “Hopey, Changey” thing working out for you America?

Now comes the most damning poll for Obama in some time. For Barack Hussein Obama his entire presidency has been based on the premise that it’s George W. Bush’s fault. Obama has made it a cottage industry to blame Bush for everything while provide no leadership to issues. Enter, the Left leaning PPP poll and a doozy of an analysis and commentary on Barack Obama. Imagine this, according to Public Policy Polling, more Louisiana folks think that GWB did a better job handling Hurricane Katrina than Barack Obama has done with the BP Oil spill. OUCH, THAT’S GOING TO LEAVE A MARK!

LET US REPEAT THAT FOR PEOPLE WHO MIGHT HAVE MISSED IT, MORE PEOPLE THINK GWB DID A BETTER JOB OF HANDLING HURRICANE KATRINA THAN OBAMA HAS WITH THE BP OIL SPILL.

Full polling results HERE.

Our new Louisiana poll has a lot of data points to show how unhappy voters in the state are with Barack Obama’s handling of the oil spill but one perhaps sums it up better than anything else- a majority of voters there think George W. Bush did a better job with Katrina than Obama’s done dealing with the spill.

50% of voters in the state, even including 31% of Democrats, give Bush higher marks on that question compared to 35% who pick Obama.

Overall only 32% of Louisianans approve of how Obama has handled the spill to 62% who disapprove. 34% of those polled say they approved of how Bush dealt with Katrina to 58% who disapproved.

For those polled, Obama’s actions have gone from bad to worse. Not obly has Obama shown a complete inability to lead and grasp the importance and severity of the issue, The One has made matters even worse by putting a moratorium on platform offshore drilling that is causing even further economic devastation to an area already in crisis.

One thing the oil spill has not done is created a spike of opposition to offshore drilling in Louisiana. 77% of voters still support it with only 12% against. Only 31% say the spill has made them less inclined to be in favor of drilling while 42% say it hasn’t made a difference to them and 28% say they’re now stronger in their support.

Maybe Barack Obama can go play a round of golf and think about the BP oil crisis in the Gulf some more. Look for Obama’s avergae job approval polling mumbers ar RCP to go into the red.

#1: bequisha, just like your boy obama. you
make fun of the mentally handicapped. you must be
as ignorant as he is. Sarah Palin has more knowledge in her little finger than your kenyan homey could find in his whole family.
now get it over with and use your only excuse
      you commies have.

“We are better off with Obama than we would have (been)with Senator Senile and the retard from Alaska”…sure we are, just keep telling yourself that..
The ONLY thing Obama has done well is prevent Carter from going down as the worst president in American history!! He wins that prize hands down!!

Actually, Barack Hussein Obama’s (better known as the Kick-Ass President) new Rasmuessen rating is 42%.

Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. That’s the lowest level of approval yet recorded for this president. Fifty-seven percent (57%) now disapprove. Those are the lowest ratings yet recorded for this president.

with a passion index of -20

meemee on June 16th, 2010 2:02 pm: would you blame Obama if:

      1. BP was his largest single contribution?
      2. He’s been president now for 1.5 years?
      3. He said he was the one calling the shots?
      4. You knew that 17 countries and 4 international organizations have offered their help and expertise (at least one of which has cleaned up oil successfully) – and their offers have been ignored?
      5. You knew that Kevin Costner has offered his invention (I believe with partners) that sucks oil out of water and instead of acting, they are still “testing” it?
      6. You knew that millions of feet of Boom was sitting in a warehouse while the gulf coast states beg for it?
      7. Obama declares a deep water drilling moratorium and excludes BP’s largest deep water well reported in poor condition?
      8. Obama continues to hold lavish parties, vacation and golf all the while oil is spewing forth and he is NOT doing his job.

Oh dear Kat, Sadly…Obama IS doing the job Sorros paid for him to do. Destroy America :( Just he doesn’t care it is WE the people he’s supposed to be working for, why old George Sorros bought him the position.

I’m still amazed at the people making excuses for this clown in the White House pretending to be a President with no leadership ability. I guess some people just can’t admit they made a mistake in voting for this incompetent anti-American especially after they ridiculed Bush so much about Katrina. There is no comparison to this disaster & Hurricane Katrina.

      @belunda

Do you actually have a anything intelligent to post or do you just visit blogs to spew your hatred? I don’t recall anyone discussing John McCain or Sarah Palin. You sound like an angry liberal with a lower than average IQ. What does calling John McCain a senile Senator or Sarah Palin a retard from Alaska have to do with Obama being a failure?

You are just a troll with no facts or logic to back up anything you say. Run along and play in the sand.

    12. Michelle on June 16th, 2010 10:29 pm

#10 Only a little over half of America got what they wanted. The rest of us did not & do not want this.
