James Carville Rips Obama on BP Oil Spill in Louisiana … “Lackadaisical & Naive”

More Hope and Change brought to you by Barack Obama …

Welcome to Barack Obama’s Hurricane Katrina and his “Lackadaisical” and “Naive” approach to the BP Oil spill. The oil is reaching the Louisiana and Florida coast and what is the President doing?

When the going gets tough, Obama goes golfing.

The Obama Administration has been extremely late to deal with the situation that has turned into an ecological disaster. In the wake of the BP oil spill, the Obama Administration continues to drag their feet. Democrat James Carville blasted the Obama Administration, “They are risking everything by this ‘go along with BP’ strategy they have that seems like, lackadaisical on this, and Doug is right, they seem like they’re inconvenienced by this, this is some giant thing getting in their way and somehow or another, if you let BP handle it, it’ll all go away. It’s not going away. It’s growing out there. It is a disaster of the first magnitude, and they’ve got to go to Plan B.”

The Obama go along with BP strategy

From The Huffington Post:

Democratic strategist James Carville and MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews, two reliable supporters of President Barack Obama, have issued withering critiques of the administration’s handling of the Gulf oil spill.

Carville, the famously outspoken Louisianian who was a chief political aide to Bill and Hillary Clinton, told CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Thursday that the administration’s response to the spill has been “lackadaisical” and that Obama was “naive” to trust BP to manage the massive clean-up effort.

“I think they actually believe that BP has some kind of a good motivation here,” he said. “They’re naive! BP is trying to save money, save everything they can… They won’t tell us anything, and oddly enough, the government seems to be going along with it! Somebody has got to, like shake them and say, ‘These people don’t wish you well! They’re going to take you down!’”

If the LEFT can criticize GWB for delays in dealing with Hurricane Katrina, then it’s more than fair to question President Barack Obama and his handling of this colossal ecological disaster. This is a train wreck and while the disaster continues … an ever present Barack Hussein Obama plays golf.

BP has an ROV at the spill site. Why can’t they configure the ROV
to plug the leak? Also, the blowout preventive mechanism is suppose to be tested several times before being used. And, if to be used at a pressurized depth, to be tested under pressure. Obviously this was not done. Who is the culprit who passed the testing without testing it? That person should be imprisoned for life.

      Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

Some still do not get it. ANY criticism of Barack Obama’s ideology/policies is considered racist.

#2: BP was BHO’s largest donor! Does that answer your question?

“Lackadaisical & Naive”: complete description of the boy king who, BTW, held another BIG PARTY on the taxpayers’ dollars this past week.

      Chef flown in from Chicago
      Beyonce
Whitehouse lawn turned into an extravagant stage
Waygu Beef (this time from Oregon) of course.

      Your tax dollars at work!

Looks like oblamey is using the 200 year
old trick , blaming bush for his own
incompetence as president. hw realizes that bush
is far superior to him as a president and tries
to make bush look bad at every opportunity. too
bad hussein, it ain’t gonna fly son.

I guess that surprise inspection 2 hours before the explosion will be allllllll forgotten if the spill gets BIG ENOUGH!

    9. Jack Hammer on May 24th, 2010 1:46 pm

So Obama caused this? Makes sense on this website. So if my pipes leak in my house, can I blame Obama?

    10. super dave on May 24th, 2010 3:55 pm

yes, obama is to blame for both wars, the
starving economy he created, the oil spill,
which might i add that he ok’d BP to drill in
the gulf without proper EPA permits. he is now
the supposed president and wanted the position
when he was preening and posturing to get himself
      elected.
i guess he’s not so hot on the job now that he
sees that he is totally incompetent to handle even
the smallest problems. leave bush out of this,
he is no longer POTUS. he left obama in good
shape and obama totally secewed everything he touches up.

What a shame, everything being damaged, destroyed and killed….and he is a having an expensive, extravagant lawn party…get your a~~ in gear and start helping to clean up!!!! What a waste of a President….the stick man…let me stick it to you….I guess I go in the back 40 and smoke my marijuana which I support!!!

    12. CHATA on May 24th, 2010 11:13 pm

Offers of help from other countries were turned down … BP would fix it and the Coast Guard would decide when and if to ask for more help ???

So, BP is using a dispersent supplied by NALCO HOLDING (a Warren Buffet owned company, as of 2 years ago), the only company furnishing the chemical. First, it might be harmful, then, it is the same as dish detergent??? So keep using it to clean up … both the oil and dollars for Buffet’s coifers. All the while they all dither and wring their hands over the staged, IMO, oil spill. Is this profiteering? Naw, not with the POTUS in full knowledge.

No wonder Bobby Jindle is willing to try something that might get him jailed. Just another mess BO has gotten us into. And Sarah Palin was right about him being in the pocket of big oil.

[...] James Carville is 100% correct, “… administration’s response to the spill has been “lackadaisical” and that Obama was “naive” …” The LEFT & RIGHT have been equally fed up with Obama’s handling of the BP oil spill crisis namely because he has shown no leadership. How can any President claim they care when they cannot even be bothered to go to a Memorial service for individuals who died during the initial Deepwater Horizon explosion? MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was correctas well, this is Obama’s Iranian hostage crisis not Hurricane Katrina … ” “This is more important than a Presidency. This President has not acted that way. He has not acted like this is more important than some thing else like a fund raiser in California or an interview about basketball with Marv Albert. He doesn’t seem to be taking ownership. Presidents must seize control when some thing like this happens. I think this is more like the Iranian hostage crisis that brought down Jimmy Carter than Katrina … This is big time and he has not acted like it’s big time.” [...]
