HE SAID WHAT!!! President Barack Hussein Obama: “Whether We Like It Or Not, We Remain a Dominant Military Superpower”

If you missed this on the MSM, yesterday at his nuclear security summit conference President Barack Hussein Obama told Americans the following:

Whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower.”

So much for that US National Security stuff.

What is wrong with this President? Why is he so ashamed that the United States is a power in the world? Obama apologizes to the world that the US is a super power. These are frightening words from the man whose job it is to protect America.

Actually Mr. President … WE THE PEOPLE are not ashamed that we ae a super power; however, since the Presidential election of 2008 … WE ARE ASHAMED OF YOU!

Yes, that is correct, those words came from the mouth of a sitting President whose job it is to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Hear it from his lips to your ears and eyes below. At what point do ALL AMERICANS need to question the motives and agenda of a President who does not want the United States to be a super power.

Instead, those who do and see Obama for what he really is, are called racists, Fascists and haters.

Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit

Presidential oath of office:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Just the other day Dick Morris appeared on FOX and FRIENDS and made the following comment regarding Barack Obama, “We may have the first anti-American president we’ve ever had.” At the time many thought, well that was a bit over the top … until Obama’s comments above. At some point we are going to have to call it for what this really is.

Transcript from HotAir Pundit:

Morris: “It’s the most outrageous thing I think I’ve ever heard a President of the United States say, he’s literally saying, if an American city was gassed, or hit with a biological weapon and millions were dying in the streets coughing their lungs out or in hospital wards dying of incurable disease, we would not us nuclear weapons to reply? It is totally absurd, it’s beyond belief that a President of the United States would say that, and it shows that Barack Obama might be, might be the first anti-American President we’ve ever had”

There is no question that Barack Hussein Obama will go down as the worst President the USA has ever seen and the Democrat party, who put all their eggs in the Obama basket will be damaged goods for decades to follow.

I agree, it is absurd. Most of us here at Scared Monkeys have been saying even before the election that Barack Hussein Obama is anti-American and doesn’t have the experience to be POTUS and Commander in Chief of the most powerful nation in the world (at least for the time being anyways)

He just admitted that he wants to weaken this country’s military power.

I’m guessing the trolls will be out defending his actions & words real soon.

      Wait for it.

    14. yoyo muffintop on April 14th, 2010 4:47 pm

“racists, Fascists and haters”. Don’t forget SM’s, it was this website that stated that 33% of the people that don’t care for President Obama do so ONLY because of his skin color. That observation by SM’s is bolstered by the fact that 6 out of the first 13 posts are from admitted racists, so I think the correlation SM’s itself stated can be made. One calls President Obama the n-word, the other calls African-Americans “darkies”. Most ‘normal’ republicans call that racism, most here do not. Go figure.

It’s quite obvious that what he was talking about is that because we are a superpower, we get drawn into conflicts and are expected to do something about them, whether we like it or not. Reading comprehension might not be a strong suit here, but I’m sure once read you will agree.

      Here was the question asked:
Thank you, Mr. President. Good afternoon. Given the progress you have cited in recent days on your foreign policy agenda, to what extent do you feel like you have gained political capital with which to take further to the international stage for the rest of this year, to perhaps rejuvenate some initiatives in trouble spots such as the Middle East and elsewhere?

Well, I think the work that we’ve done in recent days around nuclear security and nuclear disarmament are intrinsically good. They’re good just in and of themselves. And so we’re very pleased with the progress that we’ve made. And we could not have done this without extraordinary cooperation first from President Medvedev when it came to the START treaty, and then from my colleagues who were here today when it came to this Nuclear Security Summit.

What I think it signifies is the fact that so many of the challenges that we face internationally can’t be solved by one nation alone. But I do think that America’s leadership is important in order to get issues on the international agenda and to move in concert with other countries to have an effective response.

There are a host of other issues, obviously, that have to be addressed and one of the points that was made actually during the communiqué is we’re talking here about the instruments of potential war or terrorism, but obviously there are also the reasons, the rationales, the excuses for conflict, that have to be addressed as well.

And I remain committed to being a partner with countries around the world, and in particular hot spots around the world, to see if we can reduce those tensions and ultimately resolve those conflicts. And the Middle East would be a prime example. I think that the need for peace between Israelis and Palestinians and the Arab states remains as critical as ever.

It is a very hard thing to do. And I know that even if we are applying all of our political capital to that issue, the Israeli people through their government, and the Palestinian people through the Palestinian Authority, as well as other Arab states, may say to themselves, we are not prepared to resolve this — these issues — no matter how much pressure the United States brings to bear.

And the truth is, in some of these conflicts the United States can’t impose solutions unless the participants in these conflicts are willing to break out of old patterns of antagonism. I think it was former Secretary of State Jim Baker who said, in the context of Middle East peace, we can’t want it more than they do.

But what we can make sure of is, is that we are constantly present, constantly engaged, and setting out very clearly to both sides our belief that not only is it in the interests of each party to resolve these conflicts but it’s also in the interest of the United States. It is a vital national security interest of the United States to reduce these conflicts because whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, one way or another we get pulled into them. And that ends up costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure.

So I’m going to keep on at it. But I think on all these issues — nuclear disarmament, nuclear proliferation, Middle East peace — progress is going to be measured not in days, not in weeks. It’s going to take time. And progress will be halting. And sometimes we’ll take one step forward and two steps back, and there will be frustrations. And so it’s not going to run on the typical cable news 24/7 news cycle. But if we’re persistent, and we’ve got the right approach, then over time, I think that we can make progress.

All right? Thank you very much, everybody.

    15. Michelle on April 14th, 2010 6:02 pm

Well I happen to like being a dominant military superpower.

      Just sayin

YoYo, I thought you had gotten your Spongebob Square Pants boxers all untied from that universal lefty knot they’ve been in? Ok, guess not. You are a classic study in complete denial & over-exaggeration of everything (including the facts when there are a few thrown in)…Classic! Why are you such a race baiter, YoYo!? Don’t you get sick of being called out on it? We are so sick of hearing about it which is why most time you flap your gums nobody listens.

    18. Gee on April 14th, 2010 8:12 pm

You not only took that quote out of context, you took it out of the sentence!

      Here’s the full quote:
“It is a vital national security interest of the United States to reduce these conflicts because whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, one way or another we get pulled into them.”

He is not suggesting that it is unsavory to be a dominant military superpower, but that we may get pulled into other countries’ conflicts simply because of our status.

    19. Brenda in Virginia on April 14th, 2010 8:34 pm

hi yoyo, Can you condense that post a bit? Too long for me to read at one time. I forget the beginning by the time I get to the end…..

    20. Scared Monkeys on April 15th, 2010 6:16 am

#14 you are truly an idiot, race baiting ass. You are nothing more than a low life troll that actually makes race relations in the US worse.

It must be a horrible thing to walk around all day being so miserable and full of hate.

Obama was voted into office by White America. Sadly, probably 99% of blacks voted for Obama because he was black and no other reason. Imagine if 99% of whites did the same.

But just like a TROLL, you want to avoid the subject at hand … this has nothing to do with the color of one’s skin, it has to do with the content of their character.

The minute a US President says “Whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower ” … I do not care if they are white, black or purple … They are unfit to carry the office of “SAID” super power.

This President is a joke. He is a dangerous joke and it has noting to do with color, it has to do with his political ideology of being a Marxist, Progressive liberal.

How many Americans that voted for Obama last election would vote for his now? The answer by all polling is not many.

Obama did not lose the Hard Right vote or the Republican vote in polls. He has lost the Right of center Democrats and the independent unaffiliated vote.

This man is an embarrassment to the Office of the US Presidency and will go down like a sweet muffin in 2012. However, before that occurs … WE THE PEOPLE are going to teach the Democrat party a civics lesson like they have never seen before.

After this years midterms, Democrats will once again learn who works for who and it will be a shot across the bow to the a$$clown Republicans who want to act like liberal democrats.

Enough is enough. This country has serious issues and needs serious fixes for serious people who are not Marxists.

America is a Super Power and I personally like the fact that we are. I am not embarrassed or shy away from it like Obama.

It makes every one wonder why he wanted the job in the first place. Then again … we know.

A 30% approval rating is not far away for Obama. Let’s see what happens then. At this point he knows that they are going to lose Congress in November and he and Dems are looking to inflict as much damage on the US with their liberal policies that no one wants.

The Party of NO is something to be proud of when you are combating some one like Obama and the present day Democrats in power.

    21. Scared Monkeys on April 15th, 2010 6:20 am

I don’t know about you Barack, but I enjoy being a super power.

I like being a leader and being in a position to help others and implement ways of making things better.

This apology crap, your bowing and downgrading the United States and its people will be coming to an end real soon.

Why don’t you do the country a favor and resign if you have such an issue being the leader of a super power.

Who would ever have thought we would ever hear such words from a US President.

    22. Scott on April 15th, 2010 6:58 am

Jacob – really Dick Morris has Zero credibility?

Why is that? Because he woke up and smelled the coffee.

He is one of the reasons Clinton won in 1996 and turned his Presidency around and Clinton (Bill) has been on record as saying this….

Liberals just can’t stand when someone with FACTS and LOGIC takes a stand against corrupt liberal policies.
SM: Yea, funny how libs do not like when past people who did things for them suddenly tell the truth and it harms them.

This is the disingenuous nature of the Democrat party. They live in a vacuum and want the MSM to echo their propaganda.

For years Scott Rasmussen has nailed every election … even the ones the Democrats won including Obama, yet noe they look to demonize his as being a Republican pollster.

When you cannot debate or dispute the facts, they go after the messenger. Democrat playbook, page 1.

However, let them be in denial all they want … wait until the midterms, we might have to take all sharp objects, belts and shoe laces away from the LIBS.

Can’t you just wait for the Obama spin after losing both houses of Congress.

yoyo…you need a brush up on facists and it’s link to progressives you race baiting free loading moron with no original thought of your own!

Progressivism is the first stage of facism. It’s been proven throughout history…Germany, Italy, etc…

Get your race hating words right.

Problem is our society is littered with PUNKS such as yourself who feel ENTITLED to something that you can not obtain on your own. You are a leech with no useful contribution to society.

Wow…you know how to cut and paste! You pass first grade! And on top of that, you do what the libearl MSM does, uses only the parts that suffice to you.

You are a clueless little PUNK!

    23. Rusty Bridges on April 15th, 2010 7:53 am

I watched the speech and what I took from it he was addressing the world when he said “we”. He did say “like it or not” so he was speaking to two sides and did not side himself on one or the other.

He was addressing the people that are depending on us to solve their issues and waste our young men and women while they play politcal games and reap the benefeits.

I saw that he was reaffirming our commitment to remain a world power but we are not going to be pawned by anybody and I felt quite proud of him.

He cites the Isreali and Palistine conflict which some elements on both sides are determined to not let it end peacefully and I for one am sick of the games they play with us.
SM: Any time some one says, whether you like it or not … it is not a positive message or tone,

    24. Scott on April 15th, 2010 11:56 am

R – agreed. after November you may see libs like these tone deaf idiots leaping off bridges, hopefully Pelosi, Reid and Frank will go with them.

Yep..attack the messenger is from the Alinsky playbook for radicals; that’s all they have because they have no logic or fact to back up anything they say. Or they just spin it to their little fantasy world.

    25. super dave on April 15th, 2010 1:29 pm

yoyo : your girlfriend michelle obama says that she hates whitey. that would make her a racist now wouldn’t it ?
your people mingling with the tea party crowd to yell the same racist propaganda that you stay up all night copying is almost as sickening as you are. however, i am glad that it brought into the limelight so others are able to see that you and your kind will stoop to any low and degrade your own people for the sake of your boy barry.

    26. super dave on April 15th, 2010 2:55 pm

here is a prime example of liberal democrat activity. GOP official Allee Butsch and boyfriend, Joe Brown were beaten bloody while leaving the Republican Leadership Conference in
New Orleans. Butsch suffered a broken leg which will take her months to heal and Brown suffered a broken jaw and nose.
this is your liberals& democrat mentality. their
messiah is sliding in approval ratings so they once again resort to violence. your government is no different.

    27. J.Jay on April 15th, 2010 11:03 pm

sm. You have no idea what diplomacy is. Let me give you a hint: It is when you don’t have a gun in your hand.

YoYo is spot on with the interpretation of his words. He changes the international perception of the US as hot shot war mongers. I agree that that is not true, except maybe under bush.
The snippet is already out of context, and you cut it down even further.

And dave: you are now anti violence? That is practically zen.

    28. bee on April 16th, 2010 11:20 am
