Former President Jimmy Carter Objects to Having his Foreign Policy Compared to Barack Obama

You know your foreign policy is bad when …

How bad is President Barack Obama’s foreign policy? Even former President Jimmy Carter takes exception and objects to the comparison. WOW.

Either way, the Carter comparison was clearly meant as an insult. After all, the piece was titled “The Carter Syndrome.”

It would seem natural for Obama and his allies to find the piece somewhat insulting — but the one raising the most stink so far is Carter himself.

From the Jawa Report, imagine a foreign policy so bad that even Jimmy Carter takes exception to the comparison. YIKES!

Liberal Racism:Donny Deutsch Smears FL Republican Senate Candidate Marco Rubio With Racially Charged Attack, “He’s a ‘Coconut”

So it’s the Republican and Tea Party members that are racists, eh?

While appearing on the Joy Behar Show, MSNBC and CNBC contributor Donny Deutsch used racially charged language calling Republican senatorial candidate Marco Rubio as a “coconut.”

coconut1

Just a quick FYI and primer from Michelle Malkin for those of you unfamiliar with the “coconut” insult:

If you are a conservative with Latino/Pacific Islander/Filipino heritage, you’re a coconut (brown on the outside, white on the inside).

From News Busuters, the definition of what a coconut is as defines by others in the know.

…  both the New York Times and Urban Dictionary define as a “person who is tan on the outside” and “white on the inside.” Rubio is the son of Cuban exiles.

Deutsch employed the derogatory term while hitting politicians with no experience. He noted the success of such candidates and derided, “…You almost need that blank piece of paper. That’s the new model. Like, you know, this coconut Rubio down in Florida.”

Of course the liberal Deutsch tried to weasel his way of of his racist comment by posting the following on Twitter. However, Weasel Zippers took him to task.

UPDATE: 2010-02-23 18:20 Deutsch responded on his Twitter page: “I said ‘coconut’ meaning simple, goofy, bananas…wasn’t even aware it could be a racially charged word.”

Just like a typical liberal to call others racist when they might need to take a good look in the mirror. Just before acting like a racist, Deutsch accused others of being the very same.

Ironically, just seconds after calling Rubio a coconut, Deutsch lashed out against tea partiers, slamming them as racist: “No, they’re angry- they’re basically- their argument is- and I think there’s a lot of racism underneath it- is- ‘He, they, are taking your civil liberties away. They’re stomping on the Constitution. They’re telling us how many bullets we can have in our guns.’”

Just more typical nonsense from the do as we say, forget what we do liberals. Imagine, just imagine if a Republican made such a comment. The LEFT just cannot stand that Conservative Mark Rubio is destroying RINO Charlie Christ in the polls for the Republican Primary for US Senator in Florida.

Democrat Harry Reid, “Men, when they’re out of work, tend to become abusive,” … What Happens When he isn’t Reelected?

Democrat Senate majority leader Harry Reid once again makes a comment that has some scratching their heads. Reid suggested  that domestic violence by men has increased due to US  joblessness. So is Obamanomics now going to end domestic violence? Or has it created more domestic violence since more jobs have been lost and we are just under 10% unemployment?

Reid, speaking in the midst of a Senate debate over whether to pass a $15 billion package meant to spur job creation, appeared to argue that joblessness would lead to more domestic violence.

“I met with some people while I was home dealing with domestic abuse. It has gotten out of hand,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “Why? Men don’t have jobs.”

Harry Reid then went on to say the following:

“Women don’t have jobs either, but women aren’t abusive, most of the time,” he said.

“Men, when they’re out of work, tend to become abusive,” the majority leader added. “Our domestic crisis shelters in Nevada are jammed.”

Here is the real question that needs to be asked of Harry Reid and Barack Obama. Actually, there are two;

1) Will Reid and Obama both become abusive when they are without jobs and fired by the American People in 2010 and 2012, respectively?

2) If Reid and Obama had so much concern for the rise of domestic violence because of out of work men, then why did they not concentrate 100% on jobs in America and not waste so much time with issues like health care and Cap & Trade?

The statements by van der Sloot follow a similar confession more than two years ago during an undercover operation by Dutch crime reporter Peter R. de Vries, which prosecutors said did not constitute new legal evidence.

‘De Telegraaf’ newspaper reported that – in the new confession – Van der Sloot said he is still scared of being prosecuted and admitted to disposing Holloway’s body in a marsh on Aruba. The report said the chief prosecutor on Aruba confirmed the story, but said Van der Sloot could be attempting to give multiple false versions to hide the truth.
