Obama the Populist Grabs a Pitchfork … Obama Changes Tone Prior to State of the Union Address

Yet more smoke and mirrors … Hope & Change from the original promise of Hope & Change …

Obama the Populist? It is pretty hard to pick up the pitch fork and storm the castle when you are the monster Mr. President. Some how I doubt the town folk are going to buy it. Populists hardly need to make back room deals with special interest groups and pay of Senators for their vote for a failed health care bill.

Suddenly President Barack Obama is a Populist following the win by Republican Scott Brown in the Massachusetts Senate election last week and the “Scott Heard Around the World”.  Spare us the political style over substance games from this administration.

On the eve of President Obama’s State of the Union address and the end of his first year in office, Republican Scott Brown’s astonishing win in the Massachusetts special Senate race not only reset politics in that state, but reset politics for the entire nation.

“The entire political community was caught a little bit unawares on that one,” White House senior adviser David Axelrod said today on ABC’s “This Week” of Brown’s win.

No one cares about this President’s words or tone any more. With 10% unemployment and a more realistic 17% to 18% actual unemployment, mortgage foreclosures and an economy still not creating jobs, WE THE PEOPLE care little about Barack Obama’s tone. The time for campaigning is over. By what has taken place in Virginia, New Jersey and now Massachusetts, people want to know if this LEFTIST, MARXIST, SOCIALIST President is going to change his direction, not tone.

Good Grief, Obama is going to reintroduce himself to the American public. Why, because he just had a hand in pulling off what most people thought could never happen, being a Democrat sitting President and losing the Massachusetts Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy for over 40 years?

Barack Obama has made more speeches and has been more in the media than any first term President in recent history. No one needs Obama to reintroduce himself. Obama’s problem is that the American people found out who Obama really is. He was not the centrist, moderate candidate that he claimed to be who would reach across the aisle and form an era of new government in Washington, DC.

The fact of the matter is that candidate Obama vs. President Obama can be sumed up in one word from his past year as President … LIAR!

So much to the point that Barack Obama could not even follow through on his promise after promise to have the health care reform debates and discussions on CSPAN, but instead made back room deals.

Spare us the rhetoric President Obama, the people know what you are and you have been found wanting.

If this dickhead doesn’t start listening to the people, his own majority congress is going to revolt. If there is a majority congress left after 2010.

as evident this past year, obama will do, say, or pay anything to secure a vote. don’t trust a rattlesnake just because he’s not coiled.
don’t trust a biting dog that wags his tail.

After so many lies, how can we believe a word that comes out of his mouth. He better start listening to what the majority of Americans want but I think it is too late. He’s done in 4. A one term President.

      #3- Question:

After so many lies, how can we believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

      Answer: We can’t.

      —- A one term President —-

Hang on to your seats as if you where on mister toads wild ride !!! The lies are just going to get worse !!! I think he has some form of Munchausen syndrome when the lies snowball into bigger and bigger lies to cover up the first.

#3 / #4 – So, don’t watch. If the ratings on this propaganda fest are low, they’ll get the message that no one is listening. Boycott the SOB.

I know I’ll be watching the Devils game. Can’t stand listening to someone lie to me again and again and again.

When it came to Bush, very few had buyers remorse. Sure, some were upset over his wild spending, but, overall, he did a good job, and listened, or at least gave the appearance of listening. With Obama, he just talks.

It doesn’t sound like this idiot is changing his tone. He just stated he has not given up on health care, he would rather be a good one term president than a mediocre two term president. I guess he doesn’t know the fundamental principle of a Constitutional Republic is that the elected officials only pass those laws that the electorate want. I guess this is Obama’s last great act of defiance and he will be the worst case scenario, a one term mediocre president. ROFLMAO

[...] control of Americans health care ahead of jobs. Supposedly, Obama is now going to talk JOBS at his State of the Union speech. Funny, it took Obama and the Democrats being handed their hats in Massachusetts for Obama to [...]

#8 says: “I guess he doesn’t know the fundamental principle of a Constitutional Republic is that the elected officials only pass those laws that the electorate want.”

That is wrong. I guess you don’t know either? ROFLMAO

In a Constitutional Republic we democratically vote in our representatives who then vote as they see fit.

Your definition of a “Constitutional Republic” (which the US is) is 100% wrong.
      ____________
SM: LOL, they vote as they see fit? Hardly. They vote in a manner as to represent the views of their constituents or face political extinctions

    11. yoyo muffintop on January 26th, 2010 11:06 pm

Are you saying I’m wrong “R” in #10? Lol. Wow – did you miss class that day when they were discussing what a “Constitutional Republic” is?

You do know the diference between a “republic” and a “democracy” don’t you? Apparently not. Good lord.

    12. Scott on January 27th, 2010 8:05 am

#11 I’ve finally figured out that you are a bonafide lunatic nut job who is sucking the tit of the hard working American people.

Here is the definition of a “republic” you imbecile:

      1. DEMOCRACY (wow, go eat one), republic, commonwealth (a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them
      2. republic (a form of government whose head of state is not a monarch) “the head of state in a republic is usually a president”

Now, call me crazy, but I’m sure I just saw another word for “republic” is OMG = DEMOCRACY!

Democracy lives within or is a republic. We elect our representives to do our work. They are public servants in case you don’t comprehend the our political system and how our founders set that up in something you obviously have never read THE CONSTITUTION! Maybe you should read.

It’s not our representatives job to do as they see fit. They are elected to do what WE WANT.

I’m not exactly sure what kind of school you went too (if any); but it definitely was some left wing, progressive Marxist class!

Well I think that he is becoming not very well liked, I keep waiting for the rabbit to be pulled from the hat. All the change is in my pocket, and the three ring circus means shi% to an everyday American. Wow our fricken options will be palin or obama again most likely. I think Obama is a brilliant guy but this is gonna be a long three years left and he will just force another term through the public’s retarded will power. Impress the public not the weeny beanies with money hanging out of their pockets and trunks of the cars. He should stick to what he promised and his goals not what every demo and tom squeak and harry has on the water cooler sticky note for that day. Hes trying to impress to many people while pissing a majority off with his bs rants. Im pissed have a good day.
