Just when you thought it could not get any worse. The house of horrors continues at the Cleveland, OH home of convicted rapist Anthony Sowell. The number of bodies found is at 10 and counting … Make it 11.
Anthony Sowell, Rapist, Murderer … Hiding in Plain Sight
If the previous grim finds were not bad enough, as investigators have found four more bodies from Sowell’s back yard and a skull from his basement. The skull was actually found in a bucket in the basement. Anthony Sowell has now been charged with 5 counts of aggravated murder. 50 year old Anthony Sowell was also charged Tuesday with rape, felonious assault and kidnapping.
The gruesome new discovery comes after 6 bodies were found last week in the Sowell’s house, bringing the totaly number of bodies found to 10. Authorities do not know whether the skull belongs to an 11th victim.
Sowell will be arraigned Wednesday.
Cadaver dogs unsuccessfully searched Sowell’s backyard throughout the day, but found the remains while using a backhoe to dig up portions of the yard, Cleveland Police Chief Michael McGrath said Tuesday night.
“It appears that this man had an insatiable appetite that he had to fill,” McGrath said.

How many Phil Garridos and Anthony Sowell’s are out there? Flying under the radar? No one really goes out of their way to check on them, just the front door and hi and bye.
This piece of excrement needs the DP. Another tragic story where no punishment seems to fit the crimes committed, IMO.

Although the idea of sending someone to Saudi for punishment is a quick fleeting thought ~ what needs to be reconsidered here, truly, is questioning why this vermin was allowed back on our streets?
He WAS a CONVICTED RAPIST… allowed back into society to do it again ~ if this isn’t heinous, horrific at best… then, pray tell ~ what solution(s) would you suggest or (imagine) would work?
I’m not saying I may personally believe in what they do in Saudi Arabia, however, I’m sure, that the crime rate in Saudi…for raping children & women is very non existent… their rapists are taken care of very matter of factly and obviously not re-entered into society to commit sex crimes again, like what this monster did!
Suggestions?
I’m sure, Amy, like me, had the want to want to have this vermin sent to Saudi ~ just for a fleeting nannosecond ~ and let them take care of it… (they must save a lot of money for their prisoners not taking up precious space in their prisons)…
in reality ~ the Judge(s) and lawmakers in our country, responsible for allowing and whomever let this vermin back on our streets to prey upon innocent children, women to commit such inhuman ~ heinous acts…should be punished as well.
They too, have blood on their hands…
(btw new girl… I honestly don’t know, if a grass roots campaign would help… it’s so BIG, where would one begin? It would be a full time job & commitment ~ As far on the other case of that girl in CA, google it up and last week, there was an article written in a CA newspaper mentioning that there is a place where you can send $ to help support her financially… this may be a start ~ look up on your local DA’s office in your State and there are National organizations you can become involved in… I am at a loss…a complete loss…
it’s absolutely outrageous that this continues to go on every day and that our children & women are devalued in our society and vermin like this guy, gets caught, released (capture & release program of America), allowed to commit violent crimes again and again ~ allowed back into society … there is absolutely NO justice… I don’t know what the solution is… Saudi Arabia idea did sound fascinating…
believe me, #7., when it happens to someone you love ~ (and I’m not wishing that, nor wanting it to happen to another soul or human being in the universe), it’s so hard not to want to kill that person…who did the deed… (officials will tell you, you will go to prison for the rest of YOUR life)…
~ beheading is a mild alternative solution ~ compared to the million and one ways you imagine to harm, hurt the vermin who did this to your beloved… that’s just a start… actually, you want to do that last, because you want them to suffer horribly… it’s just a normal reaction/response that occurs…
Thankfully, and through GRACE… that’s where your Faith kicks in and where you let Go and let Gods word speak to your heart… He is going to take care of this vermin… I have NO doubt of that and I hope, that I’m allowed to see HIM, give the command to the monster who harmed my beloved… nothing would give me more pleasure, than to see them go straight to hell.
#8- Kitty—- I agree…it is a huge undertaking and you are right—where to begin? Have researched various orgs. which advocate for victims. against dom. violence women/children—as you point out…which one to pick? Where to start? Anyone can send in a check to various shelters which house the misplaced and provide protection…..have done it and volunteered goods & services in the past—can’t help but be left with the feeling that it’s not enough??
Legislation needs to be passed into law which prohibits allowing Level 2 & 3 Offenders back out on the streets, just as you keep saying. Don’t see any other way to decrease the volume of these types of crimes committed by repeat convicted offenders. The LAWS NEED TO BE TOUGHER! The circumstances and punishments for these crimes need to be more stringent (life w/o parole) or even the DP in States where it is not outlawed yet. THE PUNISHMENT NEEDS TO FIT THE HENIOUS NATURE OF THE CRIME to act as more of a deterrent for the perps. In reality- while it will never be even close to completely eradicated- these types of convicted criminals CANNOT ever be rehabilitated so they need to NEVER BE LET OUT OF OUR PRISONS,(they should be in prisons which incarcerate the criminally insane) or given the death penalty, IMO.
P.S.- Even though this was not a rape or murder but rather a kidnapping and abduction of an infant….here is a story in the news finally with a positive outcome… ~~~~~ Gives us hope to keep believing…. that indeed there is a greater power above who watches over us all.

we’ll continue to pray and ask the Lord Jesus for guidance…protection and healing of those suffering from heinous crimes as such and for their families suffering too… this monster affected, not only his victim(s), but entire families/communities that will never be the same from his evil acts… we shall pray for them ~ There are no words at this moment to share what my heart feels for those families… immense sadness ~… bless them all…
