John W. Lomax III, Hakim Muhammad & Jamal Todd Arrested in the Stabbing Death of UCONN Football Player Jasper Howard
21 year old John W. Lomax III, 20 year old Hakim Muhammad and 21 year old Jamal Todd have all been arrested in the stabbing death of UCONN football player Jasper Howard. Lomax was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit first degree assault, Muhammad was charged with conspiracy to commit first degree assault and Todd was charged with falsely reporting an incident and reckless endangerment for pulling the fire alarm.
Lomax’s attorney Deron Freeman, who was on his way back from a trip to Florida because of the arrest, said in a telephone interview that Lomax was arrested at about 9:30 a.m. at his job.
“I’m surprised, because my information is that my client had nothing whatsoever to do with the stabbing. … State police believe he knows more than he’s telling.”
Lomax’s silver Nissan Maxima was towed from the UConn campus by state police on the Sunday morning following the homicide, although at the time police did not say whether it had anything to do with the Howard case.
Not one of these individuals charged in connection with the murder and stabbing death of Jasper Howard that took place on the UCONN Storrs campus was a student of the University of Connecticut.
Lomax is being held on $2 million bond, Muhammad on $750K bond, while Todd was released on bail. Lomax and Muhammad are both expected to appear in court on October 28, 2009.

Better Late than Never … Bill O’Reilly is Just Beginning to Lose Confidence in Barack Obama
No one can ever accuse Bill O’Reilly with a rush to judgment. Especially when it comes to Barack Obama. What took you so long to finally get a clue as to the disastrous Jimmy Carter like qualities of the Obamamessiah? O’Reilly, were you holding out for that Obama interview?
Bill O’Reilly has given President Barack Obama the benefit of the doubt on pretty much every issue. O’Reilly has bent over backward, much to the consternation of Conservatives and Republicans. Last night BOR finally
I think there is a lot of confusion in the White House
How amazing is it that Bill O’Reilly is just starting to lose confidence now. After all the issues that this WH has got wrong, O’Reilly is just now losing confidence. One might have thought a failed $787 billion stimulus plan that has stimulated the US to a near 10% unemployment would have been O’Reilly’s first inkling.
Casey/Caylee Anthony Case: Duct Tape, Father’s Day and Hopkins
NO Detectives, I mean THE OTHER Zach Hopkins
Orlando, FL– Where did we first hear the name Zach Hopkins in the case of missing and eventually found murdered 34 month old Caylee Anthony?
He was the non-existent son of Casey Anthony’s former schoolmate, Jeffrey Hopkins. He was the non-existent grandson of Jeff’s parents who got the phone call from the Anthony home about 5 AM July 16th, and follow up from brother Lee that he did not believe his sister.

One Week to Go … Republican McDonnell Has Double Digit Lead over Democrat Deeds
With one week to go before the Virginia governor election, Republican Robert McDonnell has a double digit lead (55% – 44%) over Democrat R. Creigh Deeds. If this election turns out to be this bad, many a “Blue Dog” Democrats heads are going to begin to spin across The Potomac River in DC.
McDonnell is also buoyed by support outside Northern Virginia, where he is outperforming all other top-of-the-ticket Republican candidates this decade. Statewide, McDonnell leads Deeds among likely voters by 55 to 44 percent. McDonnell, who narrowly defeated Deeds in the race for attorney general four years ago, has been above 50 percent among likely voters in all four Post polls in the campaign
WAPO Virginia Governor’s Race Poll data. As per the NRO, the polling news for Deeds is terrible, stick a fork in him, he is done.

CNN Down 68% in Prime Time Ratings … FOX News Up Almost 10% Since Obama WH Declared War on Fox
FOX UP … CNN DOWN!
It is the law of unintended consequences by the White House and one of the worst political
calculations in recent memory. Everyone, including other media outlets, could probably have predicted the media boost and WH backlash that this would provide to Fox. Obama even went so far as to force the other media outlets to FOX’s aid. Oops! And these are the people that run the country, huh?
Maybe CNN would like to ask the communications director with the Obama White House whether Barack Obama would like to declare a war on CNN? The once only 24–7 news network game in town now finds its prime time ratings drop 68%.
I have been reporting CNN’s bad numbers for some time and now it will be official when the October numbers are in, CNN is in last place behind MSNBC, HLN and you know who.
CNN’s numbers have dropped in half overall (52%) and 68% in prime time comparing October 2008 to 2009, TV by the Numbers reported.
In the 25-54 demographic, CNN dropped 62% overall and by 77% in prime time.
It would seem that it does not pay to be an Obama “Official News Media Organization”.
CNN can provide all the excuses they want. The fact of the matter is that “We the People” are voting with our remote controls and are tired of liberal slanted media. CNN is quick to blame “opinion” cable shows; however, it is not as though they do not have the same. They just have ones that are unwatchable.
However, FOX News is up nearly 10% since the Obama White House foolishly decided to declare war on Fox.

RUT-ROH … CNN Does the Obama – Jimmy Carter “Malaise” Comparison … He Will Soon Have the Double Digit Unemployment
Let’s see, Obama is inexperienced, high unemployment, record deficits, cannot make a decision, week on foreign policy, leans toward socialism and apologizes for America. Yup, that would be the Carter Administration.

CNN states, “Is it morning in America, or has hope given way to malaise?” My how the mighty Obama star has fallen. First Obama had comparisons made of him to Richard Nixon and the enemies list with Obama’s ridiculous war against FOX News and the smack down that the White House received from the WH media press pool. Now comparisons of the Obamamessiah to Jimmy Carter and malaise. What’s next, will CNN dare compare Obama to GWB?
Nearly a year after the presidential election, the excitement of Barack Obama’s campaign has faded into the reality of an Obama White House.
As observers try to determine what time it is in American politics, they arrive at opposite conclusions.
To some, said Tulane University political scientist Thomas Langston, Obama is like Jimmy Carter, and the nation will soon hammer the nails into the coffin of a dying Democratic coalition just as voters, tired of the Carter “malaise” era, handed the White House to Republicans in 1980.
Barack Obama … the new Jimmy Carter? The comparisons are certainly there. What is perceived as a nice person, but an inexperienced and ineffectual President. Both of which were overwhelmed by the job and were disastrous for American both home and abroad.
Shortly after taking office, Carter’s approval rating peaked at 75 percent but dropped to the low 40s in a little more than a year. He entered office weighed down by a sagging economy, and eventually, the energy crisis, the Soviet Union’s invasion of Afghanistan and the Iranian hostage crisis took a toll on his administration.

What Obscene Insurance Profits? Maybe Obama Pay Czar Should Freeze Congress Pay First Before Tarp Bail Out Companies
Who should be demonized for their pay? Hint: It might be those screaming the loudest.
Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and their minions have attacked the health care insurance industry for making obscene profits at the expense of the people. Really? Where is the data that backs up the Democrats demonization of insurance carriers? It would appear that some simple fact checking would dispel the myths and propaganda being put out by those that support Obamacare. They need to demonize someone, who cares about facts.
In the health care debate, Democrats and their allies have gone after insurance companies as rapacious profiteers making “immoral” and “obscene” returns while “the bodies pile up.”
But in pillorying insurers over profits, the critics are on shaky ground. Ledgers tell a different reality.
Health insurance profit margins typically run about 6 percent, give or take a point or two. That’s anemic compared with other forms of insurance and a broad array of industries, even some beleaguered ones.
Profits barely exceeded 2 percent of revenues in the latest annual measure. This partly explains why the credit ratings of some of the largest insurers were downgraded to negative from stable heading into this year, as investors were warned of a stagnant if not shrinking market for private plans.
Check out some more of the factual numbers. Will Obama and the Democrats be demonizing them next? On the hit list next shall be the following as they dared make a profit: Tupperware Brands, 7.5 percent; Yahoo, 5.9 percent; Hershey, 6.1 percent; Clorox, 8.7 percent; Molson Coors Brewing, 8.1 percent; construction and farm machinery, 5 percent; Yum Brands (think KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell), 8.5 percent.
