Barack Obama Will Fly the Chinese (People’s Republic of China) Flag at the White House

More Obama “hope and change” … Celebrating Communism?

Barack Obama to fly the communist, People’s Republic of China flag at the White House. An American President will be celebrating China as a responsible communist country? Don’t tell the Chinese who have their civil rights violated every single day. Wouldn’t June 4 have been a better day to celebrate China as a responsible country? Oh wait, China censored that anniversary. Maybe Obama is doing it as a thank you for buying American debt.

What flag can we expect to be raised next, Iran, North Korea?

The national flag of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) will be hoisted at the South Lawn of the White House in Washington on September 20, media reported Sunday.

Chinese associations in the United States had applied to hold a ceremony in front of the US President’s residence to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of PRC.

Chen Ronghua, chairman of Fujian Association of the United States, told reporters that their application was approved not only because of the sound Sino-US relations but also because China is a responsible country.

Doesn’t this sound a lot like the hot dog diplomacy that Obama was going to have with the Iranian government officials when Iranians were being killed in the streets? Whose flag is next at the White House? Maybe Obama can have throw back day and raise the bar and sickle of the former Soviet Union just for kicks?

I hate the idea of this flag flying over OUR White House and I hate the idea of China owning so much of OUR country. But you can’t pin the blame for this entirely on Obama. He’s not even the first president to fly the red flag:

      Thanks for the link, Elmer.

I guess when it comes to the bottom line, no flag is verbotten, after all.

” So when Bush and President Hu spoke, the flag of
Communist China would be seen clearly behind President Bush.
In fact, it would be impossible for media to capture Bush’s image
without the Communist flag being in the same frame.”

      To quote the thread:

I dunno – Maybe actually getting the country to break away from the dependence of foreign oil, which Saudi Arabia has recently criticized us rather roundly for.

We would be well advised to start thinking ourselves as a country instead of a corporation. It is getting rather tiresome.

The only thing I remember about Red China is that they slaughtered 20 million or so of their people, not too responsible to me.

I also wish that President Obama would invite the Dalai Lama to the White House as well.

Then this is not change, doing the same things as Bush was criticized for but it’s okay when Obama does it because “he won” and he’s the President.

I’m sick of both sides of the political lines right now.
