I have always felt that George Anthony was at best uncomfortable discussing the events of June 16th, at worst he was lying. There was always sometihing about his account that simply did not ring true. I dont know if George’s reluctance was in relation to the fact that he knew full well that Casey Anthony wasnt drop’n Caylee off at Zen Gonzalez’s appt en route to her job at Universal. George absolutely knew that this account put forth initally by Casey was a lie-I think George experienced difficulty in repeating the lie.
Also if you all recall, Anthony’s original statement to the police alleged that she had dropped Caylee off at Zen sometime between 9am and 1pm june 16th-which almost certainly would not place her at the Anthony home round noon june 16th as George alleged.
Clearly the whole story about Casey dropping Caylee off at the babysitter en route to work is a total fabrication - George may have agreed to give Casey an alibi, but George recognised early on that it would take the police all of 5 seconds to discover that Casey’s Account was a lie.
