Death By Chocolate … Literally … Vincent Smith II Falls into Vat of Chocolate

This is hardly the intent of DEATH BY CHOCOLATE …

What a way to go. 22 year old Vincent Smith II fell into a vat of boiling chocolate and died at the Camden, New Jersey Cocoa Services Inc. plant. The man who had only been on the job for a few weeks was loading chunks of chocolate into the melting vat when he slipped in.

The Camden County prosecutor’s office identified the victim as Vincent Smith II. He was a temporary worker at the Cocoa Services Inc. plant.

Smith had been in the melting pot for about 10 minutes by the time rescue crews arrived, MyFOXPhilly.com reported. Prosecutor’s spokesman Jason Laughlin says a co-worker tried to shut off the machine and two others tried to pull Smith out of the 8-foot-deep vat. He was hit and fatally injured by the agitator that mixes the chocolate. By the time he was pulled out of the tank just after 11 a.m., he was already dead.

The Smothers Brothers had a song about a guy who fell into a vat of chocolate. Poor guy, what a horrible way to go.

BTW, there was a blog on here about Michael Phelps and his pot use and how he wasn’t as good as a swimmer because he lost a couple premilinary races on his comeback….HE JUST BROKE THE WORLD RECORD FOR THE 100M BUTTERFLY. I guess we can put to bed the notion that he is STILL the greatest SWIMMER EVER and his pot use has nothing to do with his performances.

SM: Ah Scott, the point of the article was that if he continued to smoke pot he would ruin his career. Obviously, he has quit, that is why he is able to break records.

Ask Bodee Miller what pot has done for his career?

Michael had a choice to make. He paid a dear financial price for his pot smoking and lost a lot of credibility.

He is a phenom, I wish him always the best as he is the only reason why I would ever watch swimming.
