Jailhouse Interview with Drew Peterson … Me, Me, Me … The Narcissist says “I’ll probably be found innocent”
Even while in jail, indicted wife murderer Drew Peterson could not stay away from being in the media spotlight as he conducted a jailhouse interview with NBC’s, The Today Show with Matt Lauer. Drew Peterson was arrested and charged with the 2004 murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, while he is also still the prime suspect in his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson’s, disappearance. So what did Drew Peterson have to say in his interview? That he of course is innocent and great while everybody else is evil.
Peterson says, “I’ll probably be found innocent.” Scared Monkeys says, don’t count on it Drew. Drew Peterson given some more media attentions, this time via the phone at the Will County Adult Detention Facility in Joliet, IL.
NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER
Narcissistic personality: a disorder is a condition characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, need for admiration, extreme self-involvement, and lack of empathy for others. Individuals with this disorder are usually arrogantly self-assured and confident. They expect to be noticed as superior. Many highly successful individuals might be considered narcissistic. However, this disorder is only diagnosed when these behaviors become persistent and very disabling or distressing. Vulnerability in self-esteem makes individuals with this disorder very sensitive to criticism or defeat. They may react with disdain, rage, or defiant counterattack

Drew, There does appear to be a book on how you should act
During Peterson’s interview with The Today Show, he was critical of the grand jury who indicted him for the murder of his third wife. Far be it from anyone to confront him or take such a self-important man down a notch or two. In perfect reaction to a narcissist personality, Peterson lashes back at the grand jury, referring to them as “a bunch of lay people, uneducated of the points of law.” Isn’t every grand jury in Illinois like that, yet the system has seemed to work for all except the self-important Drew Peterson.
“Do you have idea what the state’s evidence is against you?” Lauer asked.
“No idea. And the grand jury system seriously needs to be revised,” he replied. “I truly believe that if they wanted to they could have indicted you for this incident. What you have is a bunch of lay people that are in there and they have been sitting there for 18 months, and they are uneducated on the points of law, rules of evidence and things like that.”
Lauer asked Peterson if he has any evidence to prove his innocence.
“There’s all kinds of evidence available. We’ll get discovery and we’ll basically piece-by-piece take apart their case,” Peterson replied, adding that he could not elaborate on what that evidence is.
Drew Peterson’s actions prior to and after his arrest have hardly endeared him to the public. As Matt Lauer stated, “Do you understand how it can tend to make you a very unsympathetic character in the eyes of the public?” Peterson’s flipped response was, “Well, there is no book written on how I’m supposed to act.” Actually, with all the books that have been written there probably is a book on how to act when accused of your wife’s murder and after your arrest. I am sure there is an How it Act When Accused and Arrested for Wife’s Murder For Dummies available. If not, there is a thing called class, humility and common sense Mr. Peterson. In the end, Drew Peterson does not for one moment think he will be found guilty.
Lauer asked, “Have you given consideration, Drew, to the possibility that you may never be free again; that you may be held until trial and found guilty at trial?”
“Right,” he replied, adding, “I’m also thinking I’m going to be released on bond and I’m probably [going to] be found innocent”.
I would not be so sure Drew, Missing wife could help convict Drew as a new hearsay law could come into play.
A new law — passed six months ago that allows hearsay evidence from witnesses determined to have been murdered to keep them from testifying — could open the door for an account Stacy Peterson gave to her preacher about how her husband, Drew Peterson, killed his previous wife, Savio.
One thing is for certain, Peterson’s narcissism may just be his undoing as his mouth may just be his own worst enemy. His actions during interviews on TV and radio and his behavior in front of the cameras will all be on display when he goes to trial, even if Peterson refuses to take the witness stand.

It’s okay Drew, because what those “laymen” lack in scholarly legal principles, they make up for with plain old everyday common sense.
Drew Peterson and Casey Anthony – a match made in hell. They deserve each other.

No Drew ….I think you’ll be FOUND on the shower room floor of your new digs ..prison.
You think you’ll be FOUND innocent…Good heavens I feel bad for your children.
You truly feel nothing for no one .
Drew
Now you were a cop for how long? At least you took pay for being one. You say something like found innocent? You can not be found innocent you can only be found guilty. But we all know you know that. Some of us have figured out this PIG Latin you speak
Actually, lay people are kinda cool. I have never met one yet that thinks taking his wife out in a plastic blue barrel is a wise idea.
Enjoy your 3 squares today, Drew… and remember if Bubba sees your peaches and he wants ‘em…
he is probably gonna wind up getting them.
That is the way it works.
One more gripe about Drew….what’s going on with the cocky adtitude and all the smirking and smiling? What is UP with that, Drew?
You may thing you have LE fooled (you do not) or the public (Hell to the No, Drew! We got your number and we are dying to see you squirm in your chair in the Courtroom as the noose slowly tightens around your neck)
You are GUILTY AS SIN. You will have your day in hell…just like the havoc you wreaked on your former innocent wives. Regardless of your multiple stories and BS- you will die a very lonely man in prison (that is, of course until Big Bubba finds you and makes you his b*tch)…
You suck, Drew! Your pathological, lying, sleazy life as you knew it is officially O V E R.
Is the trial on yet? Oh, probably won’t take place until sometime in 2010. Oh, Goody—we get to see Casey Anthony go down before you.
Please pass the popcorn….we’re recording all of these on our DVD’s so we can replay the part where the Jury Foreman reads back “GUILTY”

[...] Wonder what antics we can expect from Drew Peterson today? His last trip to court was quite the media spectacle as the attention seeking Peterson made jokes regarding his shackles and prison provided attire Drew Peterson and his attorney use the excuse when it comes to his behavior, “how am I supposed to act, it’s not like there is a book for this.” Actually Drew, there is … you can read it here.
