It was only a matter of time before the long arm of the law caught up with Drew Peterson. Yesterday, at approximately 5:35 pm Drew Peterson was taken into custody and arrested for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. In the age of 24/7 news, digital cameras and camera cell phones, the arrest was caught on video.
Exactly how bad is it when one is pulled over by police in traffic and arrested for the murder of his wife, one would have to ask which one? Thus was the case for former police sergeant Drew Peterson. Drew Peterson is the prime suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, and had also been the prime suspect in his third wife’s murder. Yesterday, when police arrested Peterson I am sure all interested people who have followed the antics of Drew Peterson were wondering, exactly which crime is he being arrested for. Peterson was arrested on two first-degree murder counts in the 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.
Kathleen Savio, who was found dead in her bathtub in 2004, was the third wife of Bolingbrook Police Sgt. Drew Peterson. State’s Attorney James Glasgow has said evidence suggests that someone killed Savio and tried to make it look like an accident. Peterson is a suspect in his fourth wife’s disappearance.
Timeline in case against ex-cop Drew Peterson
Drew Peterson will be arraigned later today on charges in the murder of Kathleen Savio. Savio’s death was originally ruled an accidental death; however, a second autopsy determined that her death was in fact a homicide. Savio was found dead in her bathtub shortly before her divorce with Drew Peterson.
I guess Drew Peterson may need to put his reality TV career on hold as he may not be appearing in the HBO adult series Cathouse, but instead want to be making plans to be spending the rest of his life in the “Big House”.

I saw the mug shot….Drew not smiling his old cocky smile now. I hope the crap hits the fan in Will county..he first Savio inquest was tainted.

I think the Drew Peterson is GUILTY but I seriously doubt there will be a murder conviction against him. The time he spends in jail awaiting trial will be better than no time in jail…still not justice!
Wearing a red jail jumpsuit, the 55-year-old Peterson was brought in handcuffed and shackled around the legs.
As he emerged from the county jail van, Peterson immediately began yelling up to reporters. He told them he was getting “three squares a day” and joked about his “spiffy outfit” and his “bling.”
“I guess I should have returned those library books,” a handcuffed Peterson said as state police led him into headquarters following his arrest, according to The (Joliet) Herald-News.
Despite the flip comment, “Drew takes these charges very seriously,” defense lawyer Joel Brodsky said Friday in an interview on ABC’s Good Morning America. Brodsky said “wisecracks and comedy” are just Peterson’s way of dealing with stress.

I hope that the police have finally got the goods on this piece of slime. Maybe when they get through, the Bollingbrook police might began to get back some of their self respect.
This guy is a rogue cop who terrized his family and the police for over twenty years. He bullied the court to get his job back in the early 1980′s after being discharged for bad behavior. Its too bad that happened.
