Is the LEFT starting to have buyers remorse with Barack Obama? Did I miss something or didn’t Barack Obama promise change during the Presidential campaign? He promised he would bring change to Washington. Unless Obama was referring to the change in his pocket he has yet to back up any of his Leftist pandering campaign promises of change. Obama constantly railed against Bush and McCain regarding the war in Iraq during the campaign. Claiming that McCain was just 4 more years of Bush. 

Might someone want to explain how change in 4 more years of GWB’s defense secretary? Even the libs must be scratching their heads and grinding their teeth with this Obama move. Even the LEFT is asking where is the change? Of all the people Obama keeps for his Cabinet, he chooses the Secretary of Defense where Obama was most adamant against McCain/Bush with regards to Iraq. If this does not prove that Obama has no experience or judgment when it comes to war, nothing does. He feels the need to keep the status quo even though he constantly chided GWB’s military policies abroad. How many people who voted for “change” would have voted for Obama knowing he would have kept Gates?

Non-Profit Org? Hardly Holy Land Foundation Found Guilty of all Counts of Illegally Funneling $12 million to the Palestinian Terrorist Goup Hamas

The Holy Land Foundation, an organization masquerading as a non-profit has been found guilty on all counts as being a profit center for a terrorist organization. Holy Land Foundation was found guilty of illegally funneling more than $12 million to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Whether you agree with President GWB or not this verdict is a major victory for the president and the war on terror.

After more than 15 years of investigation and two trials, the Holy Land Foundation and five of its former organizers were found guilty of illegally funneling more than $12 million to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

The verdicts by a Dallas federal jury are a significant victory for the Justice Department, which streamlined its case after a mistrial last year and worked hard to carefully educate jurors on the complex evidence presented in the massive case.

Guilty verdicts were read on 108 separate charges.

Did Joran Van der Sloot just admit to kidnapping and human trafficking last night in an interview On the Record? Joran Van der Sloot may have admitted to more crimes that could land him in jail for a longer period of time than just a murder charge. There are not too many people that Joran Van der Sloot did not implicate in criminal or unethical behavior. If we are to believe the story that Joran Van der Sloot provided Greta Van Susteren then we are to believe the following:

• Joran’s lawyer knew from the beginning that his client committed the crimes of kidnapping and human trafficking while stating that his client was innocent and had nothing to do with Natalee’s disappearance.
• That Paulus Van der Sloot was complicit in the cover up of his son’s crime and that he bribed Aruban police officers.
• That at least two Aruban police officers solicited and received bribes to keep quiet.
• That his teacher from his school was complicit in a cover up and obstructed justice knowing what Joran had done in selling Natalee.
• Deepak and Satish Kalpoe were accessories to the crime against Natalee Holloway and were paid $1000 for their participation in the crime. 
• That Deepak, Satish and his American attorneys knowingly obstructed justice and solicited the promise of $1 million in order for a quit pro quo for Joran to remain quiet and not say anything damning against the Kalpoe’s.
• Joran admitted to premeditated kidnapping, human trafficking and potentially accessory to murder if his “mystery” man killed Natalee.

In an interview with Greta Van Susteren Joran Van der Sloot now claims that he did not leave Natalee Holloway on the  white sand beaches of Aruban that fateful night in 2005 but instead sold her to a Venezuelan man for $10,000.

Joran Vander Sloot becomes uncomfortable in interview when discussion moves to his father Paulus and the reference of giving bribes to Aruban police officers.

More Change that the LEFT Can’t Believe In … Obama May Delay Tax Cut Rollback for the Wealthy (Bush Tax Cuts Delayed?)

More Obama’s promises of non-change, it is starting to become a trend.

Change you can believe in … Obama decides against campaign promise of ending Bush tax cuts for the rich. Even a liberal like Obama wants to have a second term before his first even starts. Every right thinking common sense American knew that a tax increase on anyone during these economic times would mean further disaster. It would appear that Obama’s new economic recovery plan that looks to save or create 2.5 million jobs over the next two years will be done without tax increases on the rich.

Power Line seems to think that Obama has provided yet another disappointment for the Democratic Left and has a new slant of George H.W. Bush’s comment on taxes, “Read my lips, no new taxes! Not for a while, anyway”.

More “non-change” you can believe in for the LEFT from Barack Obama. For months President-elect Barack Obama railed on the Bush tax cuts and stated that his priority would be to end the tax cuts for the rich. Obama continued to beat this “class warfare” drum during the Presidential campaign even after the economy headed south and it was obvious that any tax cuts would be even more harmful to the US economy. Suddenly Obama now looks to delay his campaign promise roll back tax cuts on high income Americans as part of his economic recovery strategy.

David Axelrod, the Obama campaign strategist who was chosen to be a senior White House adviser, was asked if the tax cuts could be allowed to expire on schedule after tax year 2010 rather than being rolled back by legislation earlier. “Those considerations will be made,” he said on “Fox News Sunday.”

Bill Daley, an adviser to Obama and commerce secretary under former President Bill Clinton, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that the 2010 scenario “looks more likely than not.”

Change is a nice campaign slogan to pander to voters; however, it is hardly policy
