Non-Profit Org? Hardly Holy Land Foundation Found Guilty of all Counts of Illegally Funneling $12 million to the Palestinian Terrorist Goup Hamas

The Holy Land Foundation, an organization masquerading as a non-profit has been found guilty on all counts as being a profit center for a terrorist organization. Holy Land Foundation was found guilty of illegally funneling more than $12 million to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Whether you agree with President GWB or not this verdict is a major victory for the president and the war on terror.

After more than 15 years of investigation and two trials, the Holy Land Foundation and five of its former organizers were found guilty of illegally funneling more than $12 million to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

The verdicts by a Dallas federal jury are a significant victory for the Justice Department, which streamlined its case after a mistrial last year and worked hard to carefully educate jurors on the complex evidence presented in the massive case.

Guilty verdicts were read on 108 separate charges.

The verdicts are a major triumph for the outgoing administration of President George W. Bush, whose efforts at fighting terrorism financing have been troubled. Two other similar high-profile prosecutions targeting supporters of Palestinian militants have ended in acquittals, deadlocked juries or convictions on lesser charges.

“Today’s verdicts are important milestones in America’s efforts against financiers of terrorism,” Patrick Rowan, assistant attorney general for national security, said in a prepared statement.

“This prosecution demonstrates our resolve to ensure that humanitarian relief efforts are not used as a mechanism to disguise and enable support for terrorist groups.”

Justice served to the Holy Land Foundation

This verdict is a huge official recognition of the reality of that stealth jihad, and a huge setback for the likes of CAIR, which was named an unindicted co-conspirator in this case.

As Red States plainly puts it, ‘Finally, one for the good guys!’

GWB can do no right when it comes to left wing crybabys. He had to pick up after Clintons failure to keep us safe and has to take nothing but grief for trying to free an oppressed country and battle terrorists. I think he has had one of the toughest jobs of most Presidents

The world is a lot more safe because of GWB and his administration taking a hard stance on terrorism.

      Thanks Mr. President.

Is there a penalty for Americans funding the enemy? Could all
of the ‘contributors’ be oblivious to the end use of the
      money?

I agree 100%. He has gotten no respect and nothing but ridicule for the past 8 years. I, for one feel much safer under President Bush. He has had a tough 8 years but I think he has done a wonderful job. The liberals will never give the man any credit and will continue to blame him for everything that is wrong in this country. They will never accept any responsibility for their part of what has happened to the economy. Since 9/11 we have not had another attack on this country and for that I am very grateful to Mr. Bush.

      I have always supported him.
