SNL THINKS INCEST IS A LAUGHING MATTER.
Incest is not humor, its sick. There is a reason why SNL fails miserably in their political humor these days, because its not funny … its mean and hateful. Humor is not supposed to be bias or another form of Palin Delusional Syndrome. It is supposed to be funny. Joking about incest is as funny as calling someone disabled and using the term in a negative conotation. There was a reason why the Tiny Fey skit last week portraying Sarah Palin was funny at times mostly because it actually poked fun at Hillary Clinton, it had some truth in it.
However, this week SNL was out of line and out of bounds doing a skit that was designed to on the surface make fun of the media but instead put forth the notion as humor that Todd Palin sleeps with his daughters. With all the things that SNL could have used as material for humor, SNL picks incest? Imagine, just imagine for one second that some one said this in whatever forum or medium that Barack Obama had sex with his two daughters. Imagine the outrage and heads that would be called for if the Obamamessiah was accused of incest. However, there is no bias at SNL, not one skit about Obama or Biden … how original.
A week after a high-profile send-up of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on “Saturday Night Live,” the NBC comedy show returned to making fun of the Alaskan governor in a skit where New York Times reporters sought to probe the possibility Palin’s husband, Todd, was having sex with the couple’s own daughters.
“What about the husband?” asked a Times reporter during a mock assignment meeting for the paper. “You know he’s doing those daughters. I mean, come on. It’s Alaska.”
The assignment editor for the Times, portrayed by actor James Franco, responded: “He very well could be. Admittedly, there is no evidence of that, but on the other hand, there is no convincing evidence to the contrary. And these are just some of the lingering questions about Governor Palin.”
I wonder why SNL does not have this “INCEST” skit posted on their web site as they do the rest? Why don’t you let NBC and SNL know how non-funny incest really is. Contact info can be found HERE.

Hmm, I though SNL was in the business to be funny. The first rule of comedy is to be funny. With that in mind , it bombed.“I like my funny to be funny”. Some how making a skit about a taboo like incest was supposed to be funny. They did it under the guise of clueless reporters. They also failed miserably. It was not tasteful or funny.
Hint to SNL … Child molestation is not funny and not a laughing matter.

SNL is a breeding ground for up and coming far left comics who will do or say anything (ie: Chevy Chase and ilk). Ethical behavior is not part of the agenda. Traditional values are put aside in order to increase the shock value of attempted humor. Too bad the effort to marginalize the enemy puts a wet blanket on the stated mission of the TV show. I rate the show very high on the slime scale. Oh, it may have changed since I stopped watching it many years ago.

There is an encouraging article on Yahoo, though … the audience for the Emmy awards program, whatever those may be, were among the lowest ever.
Maybe our current crisis will persuade business that money spent on television ads goes down the drain.

comedy isn't really something for the RIGHT.they find that too complicated and mix it up with facts.
i've seen much more disgusting attacks on Obama, and that's wasn't put out as comedy.

Or does the Obama campaign protest because they think it hits too close to home in their depiction? If Obama and his campaign believe their assertions that they New Yorker is making about the many unfounded and rumors on the internet as being absurd … then why do they have a problem with this absurd cover? Maybe Obama does not think its satire … maybe he thinks its real.

sorry YoYo, there’s a line between funny and disgusting and this crossed it. Just as some of the others.. I have seen no tv station doing ads about Obama having sex with his kids, calling Michelle a whore, and saying she could be gangraped by whites, saying her kids aren’t really his.. This is just a sick group of people of Julia Renfro’s ilk..and for everyone not to condone it speaks highly of some of the sicko’s in our society. I guess if she had 5 abortions, 5 husbands, was an atheist, she would be highly popular with liberals..

For any humor to be funny, no matter in what form, there has to be some truth in the subject matter. That’s what makes it hyperbole.
When they make fun of GWB butchering the English language, that’s funny as even Bush admits English is his second langauge.

The woman ripped reporters for focusing on the pregnant teenage daughter of Palin, the GOP vice presidential nominee, while largely ignoring Obama’s ties to radical Bill Ayers and controversial Chicago businessman Tony Rezko.
“We want the media to start doing their job and stop picking on little children because of their age and their pregnancies,” she exclaimed. “Shame on you! Shame on all of ya’s!”

New Yorker was making fun of rightwing fears of Obama being a terrorist. SNL was pointing out how the MSM is trying everything they can to find something wrong with Palin. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are seriously upset at the fact that the Dems have chosen Obama over Hillary.

She has put forth legislation to try and resolve these issues. She is for abstinence because the current form of sex education that has been around long before her term does not work.
