“Initial reports state that the driver was under the influence.”

Perhaps we’ll learn later on that the driver just decided to run over a tourist for the fun of it.

As we know, the lives of tourists on Aruba are not exactly a high priority for the locals. That’s why people should avoid the place … even people who aren’t concerned about abstract issues such as justice.

Redacion, e site di scaredmonkeys.com ta usa boso imagen di e artikel aki. manera ta conoci e site ey ta anti aruba dus mi no ta kere cu 24 ora kier ta associa cu e sorto di site ey. Please actua riba esey .. saludos

I am so glad you keep Aruba on here and underfire. For 3 years their entire plan has been to delay, drag it out and Natalee Holloway will become just that girl or the girl. It is actual laughable that the Kalpoes are claiming Dr. Phil ruined their reputation, yet they aren’t suing Joran for what he said about them, Steve Cohen, Dompig, just Dr. Phil because he has money? I always figured the only reason they haven’t said the case is closed is one due to the outrage from people and to keep Beth and her lawyers from having the files. I am sure they would be full of stuff just like Casey Anthony’s about these guys. 3 guys and a girl goes out and everyone makes it back safe except the girl.. I would love to see all of these people in Natalee’s case in court. Along with all the paid liars and lying friends.

I guess it depends on who hit them and what kind of connections they have, if there is justice..

Maggie (#2), do you (or does anyone else here) know what that comment in Papiamento about this site translates as in English?

Have any of you guys ever visited Aruba? Do not act so stupid and try to boycot Aruba. The Natalee story and this story are extremely sad, but you Americans should start looking at yourselves and your own country. In the USA a lot of people are lost daily, just enter the grocery stores and you’ll see a wall full of pictures. Not to speak of all the other freakazoid things that happen in de USA. People that want to boycot Aruba because of these stories are very narrow minded.
