Tim Miller & Texas EquuSearch Going Back to Aruba … Help Search for Missing Aruban Jose Manuel Vicenzo Tromp

Back to Aruba …

Tim Miller and members of Texas EquuSearch will be heading back to Aruba to help search for missing Jose Manuel Vicenzo Tromp. TES plans fly back to Aruba sometime later this coming week to help in the search for Jose Manuel Vicenzo Tromp who has been missing since November 27, 2007. TES has gotten permission from police and ministers approval to help aid in the search for Aruban resident, Jose Manuel Vicenzo Tromp.

Since Jose Manuel Vicenzo Tromp had gone missing, many searches were done by the family and ALE to get to this without any result. The family then contacted TES to help with the search and provide their expertise. Texas Equusearch will be working with Aruban law enforcement on this case.

TES has been to Aruba on multiple occasions searching on land and sea for Natalee Holloway, who went missing in May 30, 2005. This time TES will be searching for one of Aruba’s own.

well I guess tim is doing this from his heart
oh well!! maybe it will result in inforation about natalee

Godspeed, Tim Miller and the others. Let’s hope that this leads to better relations with Aruba law enforcement, and will help pave the way for resumed operations on land and sea for Natalee.

And if Jossy Mansur is reading this … some time ago, you said in an e-mail that you would proceed with my idea of raising funds on Aruba to help finance the mission of the Persistence.

Now “we the people” are helping an Aruban family.

      How about reciprocating?

    3. Kathleen on May 10th, 2008 12:52 pm

Last Sunday in Seattle Tacoma WA., I was at a Scuba Dive trade show. There was a booth for Curacao, the Dutch island. I said to the booth salesman for that island, that, “Alot of people in the USA are pretty upset about the way your country has handled the Natalie Holloway disappearance in Aruba”.

He became very defensive and retorted back, “Well plenty of Americans still vacation there”.

I replied, “Well, I won’t be travelling to any of your islands, and that is why.”

He glared at me, and if he could be spitting nails, I would have looked like a porcupine. Every time I passed his booth he gave me the dirtiest, meanest looks. VERY bad vibes. He was such a fake…pretending to be nice when he thought he could sell me a trip. But a complete Jekyll/Hyde personality flip when I addressed a legitimate concern about Natalie Holloway. It was a real wakeup call…again!!!

These people do not care about us. They only care about our money.

BOYCOTT ARUBA, AND BOYCOTT ALL THE DUTCH ISLANDS.

I moved from tacoma wa to where I am now 6 yrs ago

      now for my comment….
those people from aruba are very defensive..our money is all they are interested in… I commend you for speaking up.
I had before natalee.. planned a trip to aruba..
in light of the events and how they acted with the holloway twitty family………
      I did a 100% turn around

      NOT NO BUT HELL NO!!!

Tim is such a good man, God bless his heart….I hope he finds Jose, the family would be eternally grateful and probably the decent people of Aruba. Who knows seeing us help maybe someone will come forward with more information concerning Natalee, maybe they will find kindness in their hearts and contribute money for the Persistence….one good deed is deserving of another….it’s better for Tim if he works with law enforcement that way they can’t be angry with him if he finds Jose and they look bad. They’ll want some of the credit.

Have a safe journey Tim, truly one of God’s people….come back to us.

      Good Luck to TES….

    6. Lobham on May 10th, 2008 1:26 pm

BRAVO, TIM! You are truly a hero.

misskatie shows her true colors by acting disapointed that Tim is going to help someone in need. That is hate full.

misskatie, if your neighbor was thirsty but you knew they were from aruba would you give them a drink? i dont think you would.

Boycott in aruba sounds like a wise decision from what I have read here. But boycotting travel is not the same as refusing to help someone in need when they have asked you for assistance!!!!

And let me state again before I start being accused of having some kind of connection with aruba or dutch. I am from North Carolina and live there today. I have never been to aruba.

    7. brie. on May 10th, 2008 1:41 pm

I hope the hotels offer them free rooms and meals and the restaurants maybe put up a poster inviting Tes in for breakfast, lunch or dinner, maybe volunteers may even help assist…I hope so!!!

He probably built up some good friendships with the Aruban people while he was there for Natalee, more than once.

    8. Jerry from Ohio on May 10th, 2008 2:01 pm

May all that participate be safe and the search or recovery be quick and successful.
Sending up smoke for Tim and his party .

i havent visited this site for a couple of weeks, i was lying in the bath earlier reading a book about Natalee and yet again it filled me with rage that this young woman was treated so badly by her attackers and then denied justice by a corrupt society, WTF, i visit this site and i am faced with this!!!!!! Tim Miller should have told the ARUBANS TO GTF!!!!! i am SO ENRAGED!!!! GOD DAMN ARUBA, ARUBANS and ANY JERK with an ounce of sympathy for these B******S!!!!!!this is an outrage, any funds available should be spent on the search for Natalee!!!! one less Aruban cvan only be a good thing, Dutch next!!!!

    10. Mary, UK on May 10th, 2008 2:38 pm

By the way, if Tim has time on his hands and an excess of funds, may i suggest a trip to Portugal to search for Madeleine McCann would be more deserving of his expert help????

    11. brie. on May 10th, 2008 3:08 pm

Tim isn’t about the boycott nor is he about getting involved in finding justice for Natalee and solving the crime or the corruption and cover-up, he is just about finding missing persons, after that he moves on….goodness knows that is enough to do….now we have to support him because he has made a decision for what he truly believes in….finding a missing person and closure for the family….the rest is up to others…

Maybe Jossy will again donate the money for the equipment to dig in the landfill…and I hope someone will donate the use of their horses so he doesn’t have to do everything on foot and a car so he has other transportation…

    12. Klaasend on May 10th, 2008 3:33 pm

@Mary, UK – shame on you. Tim Miller has said on many occasions he cannot turn a family down if they request his help. It doesn’t matter what nationality they are, they are human beings. If Madelines family requested his help I’m sure he’d say yes. The family has to request it, Tim does not go to them, they go to him. He and his people will do anything they can to help those with missing loved ones.

    13. Mary, UK on May 10th, 2008 3:47 pm

Shame on EVERY Aruban that failed to protest and demonstrate outside their police stations, local authority buildings and the like to DEMAND justice for Natalee, these peope HAD the power to FORCE their officials to bring JUSTICE FOR NATALEE, remember the search for Natalee was not just incompetent it was DELIBERATELY thwarted by the police and officials, civil demonstrations would have FORCED Aruba to seek justice for Natalee instead they PROTECTED THEIR OWN!!!!! I make no apology for my total contempt for the people of Aruba, Natalee was a victim who was not only victimized by her attackers but also by the Aruban (lack off)justice system!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!

    14. Mary, UK on May 10th, 2008 4:12 pm

I watched a documentary here in the UK a few months ago, it was about the BRUTAL murder of a beautiful young Eastern European woman working here, i think it was London but it was certainly a major city in England, the programme followed the case, in the end the lead detective and the family liaison officer who had been in contact with the parents escorted the young womans coffin back to her homeland to her parents who were poor, poor people, they showed the victim and her family utmost respect and i was bursting with pride that they took the time and showed such respect to the family, answering their questions etc,!!!!

What did Aruba do??? enough said!!!
Natalee was treated as nothing more than a dead animal and that is unforgiveable!!!

    15. Scared Monkeys on May 10th, 2008 4:15 pm

Well let’s just see what this Aruban family has to say about Natalee’s disappearance and their thoughts of Beth.

I am sure we will be hearing about it in the very near future.

This may be something that was needed in order to gain the hearts and minds.

Tim never says no to a family.

This search may just be the change that is needed to make Arubans care more.

Is Jose Tromp any relation to Education Minister Marisol Tromp? Just curious. So, so many people on Aruba, being a small island, are related in some way. How old a lad was he, and how did he come to go amiss?

    17. kiltie65 on May 10th, 2008 4:29 pm

#16. I apologize for my post above, which is in the “past tense”. There is always hope, and this is a search and not a recovery. Again, apologies.

    18. Mary, UK on May 10th, 2008 4:30 pm

I would be MUCH more interested to hear what the families opinion on Natalee and Beth was BEFORE they found themselves in this situation, Do you really think after three years anything in Aruba will change, find a consience for example, do you really think know-one knows what happened to Natalee, that their is not a kind of under-world with information that they are with-holding.

The disgusting and infuriating fact is that Natalees MURDER is still solveable, their just lacks a WILL TO DO SO!!!!

    19. Mary, UK on May 10th, 2008 4:45 pm

By the way after three years and that secretly taped confession, Aruba and Hearts and Minds in the same scentence is frankly laughable!!!!

Its called taking the high road.

Tim Miller founded TES on finding people. Not just specific people, but all people.

Tim Miller is not the media. TES searches for high, low and no profile cases. It is not the searchers that determine the importance of the person who is missing. That is the media’s job.

He is helping a family. I am sure this will go a long way for many Arubans who’s minds were poisoned by rumors and innuendo from hater and those with an agenda.

      Good luck TES.

    24. Patti on May 10th, 2008 8:29 pm

I soooo agree with you, Red.

It is taking the high-road. Unlike some that had put, absolutely, no effort into helping Natalee; and those who, even, went as far as to obstruct our efforts to find her… Shame on Them! But, two wrongs don’t make a right. If our efforts in the boycott; were based, solely, on hate and bias against all Aruban people, we’d be ineffective. Perhaps that was one of the reasons that so little effort was put into finding Natalee when the trail was still warm. If the officials involved in the search for Natalee Holloway had performed their duties with a sense of urgency, and love, none of us would be here. You once said, ‘if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem’. No Aruban can accuse us of being cold, uncaring, biased in our thinking and ineffective in our actions. Especially, when it comes to Tim Miller of Texas Equisearch and our quest for Justice…

      .

      Justice for Natalee
      and ALL the others!

    27. Patti on May 10th, 2008 8:47 pm

      Lobham:

Please be kind to Miss Katie. She is not a hateful person. She has the right to fear for Tim Miller going to Aruba, just as we fear anyone going to Aruba. Their government has shown us, in more ways than one, that it cannot be trusted. It doesn’t care to show an interested in protecting the rights of the victims of crime. Their Judicial System has shown that, in Aruba, it’s not what you know, but who you know. And when you consider the violence that was inflicted on this child who, innocently, went to Aruba to celebrate her graduation; there is no wonder that one might be concerned for the safety of the one man that has stuck by this family and has made himself available in any and every way in their quest to find Natalee.

The streets of Aruba are not safe. The officials are corrupt and the underground works it’s way above ground, all the time. People are told lies about the cause of death of their loved ones and their families feel powerless to question their government official’s authority. It speaks, highly, of Tim’s fortitude in being willing to help. So, although, we worry; we thank him and admire his courage.

      Go TES!

      God Bless Tim Miller

      and the Whole TES Crew!

      .

      Justice for Natalee!

God Bless and keep safe Tim Miller and TES. A true American, he is. We sure could use alot more Tim Millers in the world.

    29. Allan on May 10th, 2008 9:09 pm

I don’t know why Tim would choose Aruba are we out of missing persons in the US?

With all the confrontations he faced in Aruba it just doesn’t figure!

I think Aruba can police their own. Actually I feel it is disrespectful to the Holloways for going back to Aruba not finding Natalee.

I believe Arubans have never spoke up for Natalee and just don’t give a damn.

I also believe people on the island have intimate knowledge of Natalee’s plight but their interest is in other matters.
      ____________________________
SM: First off there are many TES volunteers so just because Tim has been asked by Jose Tromps family to come to Aruba and search for him that does not mean that other searches won’t happen here in the US. Second, Tim doesn’t choose..he will only search when asked directly by the family member of the missing person. They have chosen Tim and TES. (klaasend)

No doubt there will be opposition. But, given the chance, Tim WILL find something. Perhaps, this is a case that we should familiarize ourselves with. There are alot of Tromps, but this may be the son of the man that interrogated Paulus and filed a report stating his guilt. Up to his old tricks, putting the lives of the sons of the officials, on the line…

      Wouldn’t THAT be something!

Patti, I think you have something there, on officials being too fearful to act and intimidated. I would hate to think this young fellow, Tromp, is yet another casualty of the cover up. I thot’ Hans Mos went in guns blazing, was hopeful for new developments way back then, but he seems totally “neutralized”, even our own Jossy is strangely quiet.

SM/Klaas/Red- Thanks, for helping people here stick to the facts regarding how and why searches are done by Tim/TexasEquusearch.

There are many posters on here with whom I agree….we can certainly use more “Tim Miller’s” in this world that’s for sure!

As SM points out- it is indeed called TAKING THE HIGH ROAD. It is a difficult thing to do sometimes when you have been personally affected or have strong views or feelings as they pertain to controversial issues or crimes of injustice.

That being said, thoughts and prayers go out to Tim Miller/TES.

Always praying and thinking of Dave & Beth Holloway….

Reminding fellow Monkeys again to stay focused and committed….

If in doubt….please re-read post # 22…Random Acts of Kindness, fellow Monkeys.

Keep the Faith ! Perhaps something positive will come of this new investigation and help to motivate Arubans to urge their government and press them to finally get answers for the NH case as well. Peace!

Ray, I have to say that from deep in my soul i have NOTHING but COMTEMPT for Aruba and ALL who live there! There is NOTHING, beyond my families health and well-being, more important to me than finding Natalee, seeking justice for her and the return to America of her remains, to finally be shown respect and buried with the love off her family, friends and the world wide community that have embraced her.

I am from Scotland, Natalees story has touched me deeply, Natalee has become my daughter, friend, sister, she could have been ME!!!! I am filled with hate because this situation represents everything that is wrong with our societies now, and worst off all, the people we all run too for help, in this case, were working for the devil all along, Natalee, her family and justice NEVER STOOD A CHANCE. I am begging people of America write to your congressmen, State Department etc!!! This case can be solved !!! In my opinion the dutch authorities should arrest the judge involved, van straaten, dompig all the major players, maybe then someone will crack, THESE PEOPLE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!!!

I think it is highly inappropriate that funds donated by Americans is funding this cause, under the circumstance i think he should have declined and maybe offered an alternative organization to the family, good god almighty is there not ANY missing AMERICANS at the moment, THIS IS WHERE THE FUNDS SHOULD BE SPENT!!!!

    41. Scared Monkeys on May 11th, 2008 7:26 am

FYI: When one donates $’s, they have the ability to say where they want the funds to go to.

Another FYI: Long before anyone ever heard of TES they were searching in Thailand for missing persons after that devastating Tsunami.

As I have stated, one never knows what doors can be opened when one takes the high road. A door can never be opened if its slammed shut.

Aside from TES, its happened numerous times on this very sight. The high road is the path less traveled, however, it provides for things down the road that no one ever dreamed of.

    42. richard on May 11th, 2008 8:02 am

We never know what may happen, dealing with Aruba … it’s very possible that they may suddenly reverse course and deny Tim Miller and his people permission to go to Aruba.

Let’s remember … an early investigator in Natalee’s case, TJ Ward, was threatened by Aruba because he wasn’t a “local hire” and had no permission to investigate there.

(Somehow the same logic didn’t apply when Joran’s lawyer Tacopina wanted to gain publicity … can’t imagine why this was, can you?)

I think one thing is certain, anyway … this action by Tim Miller and his people will show the difference in spirit between the American people and those in Aruba, at least those who have harrassed the Holloway Twittys and covered up for the local criminals.

And I hope our media will harp on this, though I can’t say that I have much faith.

Mary, UK … Can I ask what part of Scotland? I’ve traveled there a lot, and think it’s wonderful. Edinburgh is one of the most fascinating cities I’ve been in.

    43. richard on May 11th, 2008 8:05 am

Remember, folks, it isn’t the Aruban government that asked Tim Miller for help … it was this one family. Maybe this action will be, metaphorically, lighting a candle that will help illuminate the darkness that pervades Aruba.

    44. richard on May 11th, 2008 8:16 am

      Kathleen (#3) … Curacao?

That is the island where Amy Bradley disappeared in 1998. She was on a cruise with her family … the night before, when the ship docked in Aruba, members of the crew who had been pursuing her from the start of the cruise wanted to take her to … Carlos ‘n’ Charlies.

She declined, telling her parents that she wasn’t interested in “those creeps.”

Early the next morning, just as the ship was docking in Curacao, she vanished from the vessel.

There is good reason to believe that she is still alive, in a situation of duress.

Needless to say, the Curacao government has done as much for the Bradleys as Aruba has done for the Holloway Twitty family.

Too bad that you didn’t ask this person about that.

Beth originally called for a boycott of all of the Netherlands Antilles, as well as Aruba.

      I agree.

      #43. Richard,

You are correct. It was not the ALE or govt officials that asked for TES’s help.

I can guarantee you that there were probably not none to happy that TES was asked for help by this family. However, what could they say, NO?

That would have created even more bad press for Aruba. So in many respects, it shows that Aruban officials not calling the shots.

They are at the mercy of their PR because of what happened in the Natalee Holloway disappearance and searches.

I see no reason for Tim Miller to be there unless it has something to do with the Holloway case.

    47. waterboy (Jerry) on May 11th, 2008 9:30 am

I knew a family that had middle-aged aunt that disappeared. The circumstances were mysterious and they felt she had been kidnapped. They asked for Tim Miller’s help, and he dropped everything, including his own personal business obligations and came to look for her.

To make a long story short, she was found in a Casio gambling. Seems her addiction to gambling was stronger than any concerns for family or friends. She said she had a stroke and had amnesia. I don’t think so. Tim wasted so much money and time. I was totally discussed with the lady.

I have sent them two donations and they will not be getting any more from me until they get back on the case and finish the job they started. Anytime you have the permission of the Aruban Authorities to perform a search of Aruba…

      You take it.

Personally, I would dive at the chance of going. That’s the way you show support for someone; is by relying on his wisdom, in all he does, and be supportive. Combing the country side of Aruba, knowing what we know that they know we know… I would be honored to help search. Probing into their past, their present and, hopefully, effecting their future…

Besides, this young man could be in one of those markers… and for that Aruba can go screw itself! But it’s time to find out, one way or another, IMHO.

Mary UK, I agree with what you say only I understand why Tim does what he does. That’s what separates him from all the sick creeps who have denied Natalee and her family justice and tried to degrade them every chance they got. Something seriously wrong with people who blame a victim and their family for crimes commited against them and parade the creeps around like rock stars. That alone, should make anyone think twice from going on vacation to such a place that does so. I too, believe they know exactly what happened to Natalee since the start. Straten lied, Jacobs lied, Dompig lied, Satish lied, Deepak lied, Nadira lied, Paulus lied, Anita lied, Rudy Croes lied, Jansen lied, Shippers lied, Steve Cohen lied, Joran 10 million lies, Renfro lied, Muzzlehead lied, Mos lied, Michael dompig lied, and on and on and then they come out and say they want to find the truth and are working on finding the truth or they hope the truth comes out. On Michellesaysso She mentions that Aruba has been caught in a lie about tourism.
Look who else I found out lied.
It was either Joe Tacopina or Willeim van Cromvoirt.
They both can’t be saying the truth.

“Willeim van Croimvort says he has no security cameras installed at the hotels or the strip. His son and Michael Dompig do not work for the VCB yada yada yada.”

      yet Tacopina says

“Van Cromvoirt’s family runs the security company, according to Tacopina. The company provides security for the Aruban government and private companies, including the Holiday Inn, where Holloway was staying, he said. The company installed the security camera and patrols the beach. Van Cromvoirt was part of the team that patrolled the Holiday Inn’s beach in the early hours of the morning, according to Tacopina.
When he went to the police station, he was detained immediately. The accusations were rape and murder.” Referencing when Geoff was arrested.
Seems like someone talked with forked tongue as usual.

Some posters have objected to TE spending money on the search for this Aruban guy. It might be worth noting that it was possible (this is what I did) to earmark a contribution specially for the Natalee Holloway search. So assuming that the money donated has been honestly allocated as requested, no money intended for Natalee would be diverted to this case.

We also ought to bear in mind that there might be something more going on than we know of. I imagine that this search will at least begin on land … so in searching for this guy, it also promotes the search for Natalee.

Could there be a quid pro quo? Who knows?

But, once again, the moral contrast between the dedication and concern of the American people, as exemplified in Tim Miller, and the corruption and indifference of the Aruban establishment is made 100% clear. Our volunteers are doing what their own government won’t do.

Surely that message will not be lost on Arubans.
We ought to make that an objective of ours.

    70. richard on May 11th, 2008 9:33 pm

Mary UK (#51) … What is so magnificent about Edinburgh, at least in my view, is the total contrast between the “new city” (18th century), which is ordered, and the Gothic world of the Castle area, the Haymarket, the old town.

Going along the old wynds, one can clearly imagine Burke and Hare out on their scouting missions. (Did you know that the skeleton of William Burke is still preserved at the University of Edinburgh? In the medical school, I believe, but it’s been a long time.)

And the view from Arthur’s Seat is wonderful.

Lots more to say about it, but the whole city is so atmospheric … and, I think, in many ways suggestive of the occult. It should be the setting for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and maybe the quintessence of Scottishness is the story of Deacon Brodie … respectable by day, thief by night.

I know it sounds corny, but I also relished the ghost tours. One of them went into Mary King’s Close, I believe it was called, a series of tunnels under City Hall (my memory may be off here) where, according to legend, in the Middle Ages a group of underground dwellers were walled up once the plague broke out. They were left to perish there so that the plague wouldn’t get to the rest of the city.

I distinctly recall, at one point, having someone … or something … brush my arm. I looked around, and nobody else was near enough to me to have done it.

The other eerie experience that I had there … and I mean truly, unbelievably eerie … was on the island of Lewis and Harris, where I went to see the Callanish Standing Stones by night. But that’s a whole other story.

To everyone else: sorry for this diversion!

    71. richard on May 11th, 2008 10:33 pm

Mary UK (#51) … A very odd coincidence here: after posting the above, I decided to see what is going on these days in Edinburgh. So I looked up the official tourism site … and there’s a festival with Mary King’s name on it!

Before that post, I hadn’t thought about my encounter in Mary King’s Close for years. So this sort of threw me.

Too bad that I can’t talk about my experience at the Callanish Standing Stones here … but besides being off-topic, it would make people think that I am certifiably insane, some kind of psychic, lying, delusional, or something similar.

Because what I saw there, and watched steadily for some twenty minutes, was a physical impossibility according to the laws of Nature, as we know them, in this world. It was unique in my lifetime.

      Anyway, enough about it.

Always1, thanks for the photo information.

I always make a note that my donation to TES is for Natalee’s search. She is the closest to my heart. I have no intension of donating for a search of an Aruban boy.

The family is wise to call on Tim Miller. He is truly the best. I am hoping that he is thinking that this generous offer to search for the boy will also glean information about Natalee. I hope that they will all be safe in Aruba as it has already been proven unsafe and unfriendly. I am impressed that Tim continues to focus on his calling–to find missing people.

Always 1 … I think that the word you want is ‘propaganda.’ Or, more succinctly, B—s—.

Even if this is what Aruba wants to do, how is it that the businesses that profit from tourism (airlines, hotels, casinos, etc.) are so supine that they won’t speak up? One might think that they were supposed to be looking after their customers … one MIGHT think so, at least.

Mary UK … Isn’t Stirling where that church or cathedral is that supposedly played such a big role in that book about the DaVinci Code? I haven’t been there, but was told that I should go.

Richard: I was born in Edinburgh. The Holy Grail is rumored to be beneath Rosslyn(sp) church, a really gorgeous little church which boasts the Apprentice Pillar (you could read about that on the net). It’s the last bastion of the Knights Templar. It’s a bit south of Craigmillar, just 20 minutes or so from Princes Street in Edinburgh I would estimate (it’s been awhile since I’ve been back.)

I truly think this is Natalee’s way of building bridges/rainbows. As my Grandmother used to say, we shall see what we shall see. (Let’s wait and see what unfolds).

Natalee wanted to help people in her career, I think she continues her efforts from heaven.

The road to searching for Natalee was blocked, this may be the opening of a new one. How many times have a crew been searching for one person and stumbled on someone else instead?

God bless Natalee, her family, Jose, his family, Tim Miller, TES and everyone involved in helping those who are missing.

Aruba is a very small island, about the size of Manhattan. There are a limited number of places to search. TES does not descriminate with their search requests. Their search efforts are for everyone regardless of nationality. Having TES actively searching the island of Aruba for Jose Tromp, can only be beneficial for the search efforts involving Natalee Holloway. Geographic locations that are searched for Jose Tromp will also be geographic locations that are searched for Natalee and others who are currently missing on the island. The searches conducted by TES may result in answers for other mysterious disappearances that have occured. Personally, I welcome any opportunity for TES and Tim Miller to set foot on that island. I can only hope that ALE gives them the opportunity and freedom to search the entire island without limits. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they were to find Natalee while searching for Jose!!! I have to imagine that there are some very nervous perpetrators right now.

Always1, I took a look at that site … he’s an artist who works in the Netherlands and Aruba, it says. I wonder if he would speak out against the Aruban government.

Kiltie65 (#81) … You picked a great city in which to be born. Robert Louis Stevenson, author of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, also was born there. The atmosphere of that book evokes Edinburgh to me … the split between the old and new cities is so intense (like looking from one side of the main street to the other) that it is almost tailor-made for tourism.

Some years ago I rented a car and did a long drive around Scotland. The north, up near the Orkneys and on the west, just exudes antiquity.

I gather that the ancestors of the present-day Scots came from Ireland in the 9th century.

    87. richard on May 12th, 2008 4:55 pm

Remember, folks, it’s always possible (you just never know when dealing with Aruba) that there is something going on here that hasn’t been made public. I can’t imagine that there is a kind of covert pact here to “unexpectedly” find Natalee’s remains, or some clues, “accidentally” while ostensibly searching for this Tromp guy.

      But who knows?

    88. molly in houston on May 12th, 2008 5:35 pm
