Beth Holloway Speaks out to Teens on Safety, Faith and Hope: “I want them to remember Natalee.”

As Spring Break comes upon us again we are reminded of the of the story, Beth_Holloway_LovingNatalee legacy and lessons learned from the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. It’s not only about “Justice for Natalee” its also about providing a message of safety for all teens to follow. There is no better person to provide the message of Safety, Faith and Hope than Beth Holloway.

As Aruba continues to provide no answers or justice for the family of Natalee Holloway, Beth Holloway continues her message to teenagers and their parents so that no one ever need to meet the Holloway’s same fate. Aruba continues to wonder why they have been branded as unsafe and corrupt. Is it really that difficult to understand? Nearly three years have gone by and all look on and see that Aruba cares little to provide “Justice for Natalee”.

“I want young adults and parents to open a dialogue about safety and what you need to know about personal safety on these trips,” she said. “I want them to remember Natalee.”

Alabamians, along with the rest of the nation and the world, were riveted by the news of Natalee Holloway’s disappearance in Aruba on a spring break trip to the country in May 2005. Many could only guess at the grief of a mother losing her daughter so suddenly.

In the months after, and as Beth Holloway began to realize that Natalee may never come back to their Birmingham-area home, Holloway was thrust into the spotlight by others who wanted to hear her story and how her faith had grown in the aftermath.

Holloway responded by spending a year traveling from city to city and state to state sharing the message of an organization she founded in the wake of Natalee’s disappearance, the International Safe Travels Foundation, which was designed to inform and educate the public about how to stay safe when traveling internationally.

Don’t Look Now Democrats …. Zogby Polls Says John McCain Beats both HillaryClinton and Barack Obama in General Election

According to the Zogby Polls, Republican John McCain beats both Hillary John_McCainClinton and Barack Obama in the general election for the presidency. So much for that sure wins for Democrats in 2008. Democrats may want to put that champagne on ice. One thing is for certain. McCain will win the Independent vote and many disillusioned Democrats. Democrats are beginning to seat. As MyDD states, McCain is  ahead of both Obama and Clinton in the Rasmussen polls as well.

Riding high after locking up his party’s presidential nomination, Republican John McCain of Arizona has moved ahead of both of his potential Democratic Party rivals in a national general election test, the latest Zogby telephone survey shows.

Aruba and the AHATA Suing Greta Van Susteren for Slanderous Statements about Aruban Tourism & Natalee Holloway Investigation

ARUBA … STUCK ON STUPID

ARUBA SUING GRETA VAN SUSTEREN AND OTHER MEDIA OUTLETS FOR SLANDEROUS ABOUT ARUBAN TOURISM INDUSTRY AND THE NATALEE HOLLOWAY INVESTIGATION.

“They are threatening to bring legal proceedings if we don’t stop our false and misleading and malicious rhetoric.”

Greta Van Susteren’s response to the idiotic and nonsensical letter from an American attorney threatening the law suit was … BRING IT ON”.

Greta says, “bring it on, sue me please, I want to get all these people under oath, I would love it”.  The panel jokes, but Greta reinforces she wants them to sue her.  She could depose police, it would be a field day.  Panel member says this was about as well thought out as the investigation was.

In what can only be just another example of the ridiculous, pathetic and inept conduct that Aruba has provided to the world as they have dealt with the disappearance and investigation of Natalee Holloway, Aruba continues to be stuck on stupid. So Aruba and the AHATA wants to sue people for their First Amendment Rights? Aruba, you may be a Banana Republic where people are afraid to voice their opinions and discuss the truth for fear of reprisal. In America … WE THE PEOPLE are not.

How ignorant could these Aruban officials continue to be and the AHATA? They are spending money to threaten law suits against the American media, who will in turn provide Aruba with some of the worst PR imaginable. WHO DO THESE PEOPLE CONSULT WITH?

UPDATE I: Excerpts from Greta’s On the Record with some of the most comical responses from Greta and her panel in what only shows how much of a joke that Aruba has made of such a serious situation as a missing and presumed deceased, Natalee Holloway.

The first thing we need to do if file something against this ignorant, incompetent lawyer who would send a letter. You cannot defame and sue a country. This lawyer should have his bar card re … Even you on behalf of this company this country … get real. (Ted Williams)

My response to this Ted is “bring it on”. Will you please sue me. Sue me right now. I will waive all requirements of service. I want to get all these people under oath and depositions. Because I would love it. (Greta)

I am going to resign from the practice of law because I feel like an idiot that I even share the same membership as this guy. (Bernie Grim)

If you are sued you can talk about it even more. You know this law suit is about as well thought out as their investigation was. Or this threatened law suit. How are they going to prove damages, number 1? Damages can’t be speculative.  (Michael Cardoza)

It may now go down because he has now refreshed in the public memory that they couldn’t find Natalee Holloway in Aruba and so now he may have hurt tourism in that country by this stupid letter. (Ted Williams)

UPDATE II: It Looks Like Aruba (AHATA) Will Have to Sue Former Spokesman Steve Cohen and Joran Van der Sloot Attorney Joe Tacopina as Well

If the AHATA wants to sue media outlets in a pathetic attempt to try and silence “Freedom of Speech”, it would appear that they will have to sue former Aruban government spokesman Steve Cohen and present Joran Van der Sloot attorney Joe Tacopina. Both have also made, according to Aruba’s definition, slanderous comments against Aruban tourism and the Natalee Holloway investigation.

Watch the Court TV video from 12–23–05 with Steve Cohen, Joe Tacopina and myself. It seems that Cohen agrees with my point that they investigation was botched from the outset … how slanderous!

CHANGE ??? Barack Obama and his Judgement … Tony Rezko played Bigger Fundraising Role & Raised More Money than Previously Known

Change, or same old same old? The longer the Democratic primary campaign Obama-rezkogoes on, they more we find out about Obama. What we are discovering is hardly a man of “Change”. Barack Obama continues to follow the same pattern. Deal with individuals and have lapses in judgement. Then when it is politically harmful to maintain those long standing relationships … he distances himself and “Blames it on Rio”. Hey Barack … JUDGEMENT MATTERS!!!

Barack Obama, the Democratic candidate for President who has based his entire campaign on hope and change has once again stepped in a pile of change. First, Obama was linked to Tony Rezko, then it was Michelle Obama’s comments about not being proud of America. Most recently,  it was the controversial comments from his long spiritual adviser Reverend Wright. Now the specter of Tony Rezko and his political fund raising for Barack Obama has reared its ugly head again.

It appears that Tony Rezko has raised more campaign funds for Barack Obama than previously known. Woops, he did it again … an error in judgement. According to Obama, that should not matter to voters.

But in a 90-minute interview with Tribune reporters and editors, Obama disclosed that Rezko had raised more for Obama’s earlier political campaigns than previously known, gathering as much as $250,000 for the first three offices he sought.
