Scared Monkeys at New York City Jacob Javits Convention Center Protesting Aruba and Reminding All … Justice for Natalee Holloway

Price of a hotel room to go to Boston or NYC Travel Shows … $60.00 on priceline.com (Free if one lives close enough to drive to events)

Cost of food for the two day at the a travel show … $80.00

Using your God given Inalienable Rights of free speech to take on Aruba’s million dollar tourism marketing campaign and bring it to its knees while providing Justice for Natalee … PRICELESS!!!

The Monkeys take Manhattan.

The NYC Travel Show is taking place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center from February 29 to March 2, 2008 and Scared Monkeys was there to remind all and especially Aruba that with out Justice For Natalee … there will be no tourism for Aruba. If there is a travel show with Aruba present … there will also be Scared Monkeys there as a constant reminder to all potential tourists.

From the preliminary reports that were provided from audio call ins from the Travel Show, the Aruba booth was in no man’s land and appeared to be a ghost town with no one at it inquiring about vacations to Aruba. The exact quote, “the Aruba booths looked pretty naked”.  Also absent from the NYC Travel Show Aruba contingent was Rob Smith, head of the AHATA. A rather amazing turn of events seeing that New York City is supposed to be one of Aruba’s biggest tourism markets in the United States. Maybe Aruba just doesn’t care and like most of there actions of late they just take it for granted that tourists will go to Aruba no matter what actions or lack of action they provide.

Many thanks to those that took the time to go provide a voice for Natalee Holloway in NYC. Also a special thanks to new Monkeys that came to the show and the many people that expressed their support. If you think this is not a Malox moment for Aruban tourism officials, think again. They are spending millions while their message is being opposed and defeated by peanuts.

kudos to all those who participated!!!

(now if we could only convince the netherlands to participate in a boycott, it would be the nail in the coffin…)

This is totally off the topic BUT
was rhere ever a ping location done n jorans
phone the night they were supposedly at the
casino and his father phoned him to tell him the
police and NATALEE’S mother was there…
perhaps they were at a location and disposing of evidence

    3. Richard on March 2nd, 2008 10:05 am

Tom in Canada (#2) … We were told way back at the beginning that Aruba police were checking Joran’s cell-phone records for that night.

Never heard anything more about it. Can’t imagine why not.

Another great protest in New York! And I understand that yet another is coming up in St. Louis this weekend.

For information, or to express interest, or to chip in some cash to support the people taking part and the bills involved in churning out sweatshirts and tote bags, sending signs hither and yon across the country, and running off handouts … PLEASE contact JusticeforNatalee@gmail.com.

If we don’t stand up for Natalee, who will?

Aruba wants this to be forgotten … do you?

ScaredMonkeys.com needs to understand that decades of Arubian cordiality will never take away from tourism to Aruba.

I applaud this website’s determination to bring about justice for Natalee Holloway, but I remind everyone that the Arubian people you guys are trying to hurt have done nothing but good to the family of Natalee Holloway.

The people that volunteer their time and efforts boycotting Aruba at these travel trade shows are really incredible people!! Thank you! We know that Aruba and the Van Der Sloots believe that it’s only a matter of time before the U.S lose their interest in the case and this all blows over. Boycotting the shows is obviously a very effective way of reminding the world, ESPECIALLY Aruba, that this isn’t going away!

I’d like to suggest that the InterContinental Hotels Group / Holiday Inn be added to the boycott. They’ve been very quiet throughout this but they’re watching closely.

The Aruba Holiday Inn has a lot of responsibility in what happened to Natalee. Had they enforced the legal drinking/gambling age at their hotel and a no loitering policy, Joran wouldn’t have had the opportunity to target the MB girls and Natalee would still be here today.

The Holiday Inn allowed Joran and his ‘pimp’ gang to hang around the hotel on a regular basis knowing all along that their purpose for being there was for preying on the young tourist girls.

Holiday Inn and InterContinental Hotels Group should be called to the carpet for their roll in Natalee’s death.

…Talk about lighting another fire under Aruba’s already burning ass…wouldn’t it be fun!!

Natalee supporters are not trying to hurt everyday Arubans.

We are just standing up for justice.

Your argument should be with the perps and officials who have caused this travesty of justice.

It is a shame that the perps and officials have caused such damage to Aruba’s tourism.

      The blame goes on THEM.

Also want to write that Aruba had a big booth but was
low on visitors when we all passed by during our breaks inside.

Right across the aisle, the booth for Puerto Rico was hopping!

    13. brie on March 2nd, 2008 12:43 pm

Love the banner, nice work. The signs are great too. Very neatly done. After viewing and hearing about Natalee I would think people would be embarrassed to visit the Aruba booth.

I think the Arubian people have done the job of hurting THEMSELVES, by continuing to allow those in ARUBA Gov’t to do absolutely nothing (and sometimes even defaming & slandering the
      Holloway/Twitty families)

Aruba Zone, I don’t think the SCARED MONKEYS CREW
should be considered your worst enemy.

Look first at those in Aruban Gov’t!

We appreciate your many wonderful years of being a great friend!

      We really do, but:

It reminds me a lot of the DREW PETERSON case:

2-3 wonderful years of marriage is SUPER, but when you get your head bashed in, & are thrown
down in a bathtub left to die…

…it kinda puts a DAMPER on the rest of things.

Hey, thanks for the memories though! -j4n

We are using tactics that are approved and used by the United Nations.

      From the United Nations:

“…The Council has resorted to mandatory sanctions as an enforcement tool when peace has been threatened and diplomatic efforts have failed. The range of sanctions has included comprehensive economic and trade sanctions and/or more targeted measures such as arms embargoes, travel bans, financial or diplomatic restrictions.”

Just consider us Natalee/Holloway family’s very own United Nations.

I applaud this website’s determination to bring about justice for Natalee Holloway, but I remind everyone that the Arubian people you guys are trying to hurt have done nothing but good to the family of Natalee Holloway.

We know that not everyone on the sandbar is directly responsible for the disappearance and cover up of Natalee Holloway. What everyone on the sandbar is responsible for is standing behind the corrupt scumbags that are ruining your crappy little island. Some of you are actually prospering under the corruption and directly or indirectly from the drug trade. The sandflies in Aruba have not stood up and said, “NO”. It’s a very simple situation of right and wrong. The travesty of justice that has been exposed with Natalee Holloway is despicable and the people of Aruba know it. You also know that Natalee isn’t the first, nor was she probably the last victim of the corruption. The wonderful people of Aruba have yet to stand up against those who have been protecting Urine, Paulass, and everyone else who was involved. If you aren’t part of the solution, then you are part of the problem. Those corrupt sleezebags will sell out everyone of you sandflies if need be and you know it. Your fear of the scum is exactly why you have all been immobilized. You all know what was done was wrong. You need to come clean, arrest everyone involved in the nightmare and the coverup, and then get on with your lives. Until then, we have no sympathy for you because you are part of the problem and the cover up. What part of this don’t you understand?

I agree with you completely. The Holiday Inn has a considerable amount of responsibility. Offering a few rooms and some platitudes to the Holloway family is not justice. I will not spend another night in a Holiday Inn and I will spread the word to everyone that I know. The Holiday Inn will also receive a few communications from me. They should be supporting the efforts of Persistence because she was a paying guest in their hotel where she was victimized by an underaged sociopath who was known to them.

    19. Richard on March 2nd, 2008 3:11 pm

MissKatie (#6) … Please write to JusticeforNatalee@gmail.com. That is a kind of central place to give out information, and is coordinating a lot of details about these and other protests. Your e-mail will be welcome, and any donation will be used for these events. As I said above, the costs of transportation, making up flyers, pens, tote bags, sweatshirts, and other things is not low. And the wonderful signs and banners have to be shipped from place to place.

ArubaZone (#9) … You’ll be very pleased to know that I have written to Jossy Mansur pointing out that while Arubans keep crying about how they don’t like Joran and his videotaped comments …

… so far, to my knowledge, they have done NOTHING to help with the costs of the Persistence.

It was the Aruban government that frustrated the water search the first time … when everything was ready to go, and all that was needed was for Dompig to sign a letter to the FBI.

He refused, saying he was “too busy.”

You don’t want the Aruban people to be hurt?

Here’s my suggestion: go help raise funds to get the Persistence back in Aruban waters, doing its job. Or can’t you be bothered?

Arubans cannot have it both ways: if you won’t help the American volunteers do YOUR JOB, then don’t look to us for tourism. Let’s see those poor suffering Arubans take some action … the crime happened on Aruba. So either help find the solution … or suffer the consequences.

      Americans owe Aruba NOTHING.

Give me a break and let the violins play. Decades of Aruban cordiality??? WHAT!!! We are not talking about getting some one a drink on the beach or bring a pad to their beach chair. We are referring to the cover up of a crime that happened on your island.

If the people want tourism to come back, they they better get off their a$$’s and do something about it instead of sitting on their hands and moaning.

No they have not … if they had spoken out and demanded justice that would have been a different story.

Sitting back and doing nnothing when the crime happened on your island is BS. You have a responsibility to act if you want things to change.

#9 Sorry AZ the Aruban people have done NOTHING to HELP the Holloways get JUSTICE for their daughter. They need to realize that ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS/THOUGHTS/WISHES or whatever they consider they are doing to be helpful to the Holloway Family.
Their pitiful subservience to a corrupt government and justice department in particular does not convince us on SM that they are in any way sincere.
The boycott will continue until the vanderSloots are prosecuted, along with all the others who have aided and abetted them, as far up the ladder as it goes.
Perhaps you should start the ball rolling with a phone call to Hans Mos and explain it to him in words he can understand.

Posner, owner of the Holiday Inn, has plenty of money…it would of been civil for him to give a large donation to the Persistence. But, of course, he wouldn’t do that because he is a friend of Paulus.

Look at all the stuff we have found out about corrupt Aruba….can you only imagine the things that have gone on that we don’t even know about, including the decent people of Aruba.

Even Beth and Dave have never said anything bad about the good people there, only the Aruban authorities.

You were able to navigate the IHG website a lot quicker then me! I thought it was kind of confusing (but then again I am a little slow).

Targeting the Intercontinental Hotels Group could cause some nice damage! We might not be able to stop everyone from going to Aruba but we’d be able to stop a lot of those same people from staying at the Holiday Inn once they’re made aware of how unsafe it is! According to the IHG website they own 3,600 hotels in 100 countries and territories. Their hotels include:

Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts / Holiday Inn Express
      Intercontinental
      Crowne Plaza
      Hotel Indigo
      Staybridge Suites
      Candlewood Suites
      http://tinyurl.com/2kz7zb

I’ve been wondering for a long time why the Holloways haven’t filed suit against the Holiday Inn in Aruba or the IHG.

    32. Patti on March 2nd, 2008 6:59 pm

In my opinion, Joran is cracking under the pressure. He’s a wimp and so is his over-the-hill, wanna-be dad. How can anyone do such things and NOT want to kill themselves? Ask Paulus and his human trafficking friends; selling this one to this, and that one to that, is an old trick of his.

      “LOCK him up, QUICK!”

      (Before he says anything more)

      Good Job, Dad!

Good ol’ Dan (Van der Straaten)

      was right ALLLLLLLL along.

Joran say’s all he can think about is his family, and; so far, they have protected him well, doing exactly what he’s told to do… I just wonder, is there REALLY a heart in there or only the guilt that comes from too many girls and far too many star-filled nights.

Regarding SM “taking credit” & those who attend the Travel Show protests, here’s a little tip for you. I was at the NY show, it was my pleasure to join the other good folks who came from afar. Many of these same folks did Boston last week, I couldn’t. FWIW, if you live local to a targeted Travel Show where a protest is to be held, and it’s in the area of this country where you live….you just do it. There’s no need for anyone to “pay your way/expenses”, and give you a pat on the back, you simply just do it. For those who may travel a long distance, or even from another State…they are really the one’s who deserve a round of applause. This Scared Monkeys blogsite is a great place for infomation, news, opinions, examination thinking, etc. The people who devote their time to providing this “meeting place” are a dedicated bunch who believe in truth, justice, and the American Way. That’s an old saying, but that’s the point.

It’s quite an education to meet the real people who post here in real life. Genuine people with a goal – to raise awareness of wrong doing, and to demand for justice. It was interesting to see volunteers who stood for hours on a windy corner, 1 block from a river where the cold whipped across the streets of mid-Manhattan and never complain. Several times during the afternoon, freezing snow showers pelted the protesters, and instead of pulling down the Natalee banners and signs and high-tailing it out of there….they stood their ground, and people show that. That’s what it’s all about, and it was done without thought of reimbursement…it was done because we are Americans. We kick Aruba a$$, and we take names.

    43. Ray on March 2nd, 2008 10:18 pm

Some friendly aruban said Beth should SHUT UP,GO HOME AND GET OVER IT. That statement is very hard to forgive.

BOYCOTT ARUBA UNTIL NATALEE GETS JUSTICE.

just watched Dateline about Madeline Mccann, what do you all think happened to her….also Observer, i owe you an big apology…if you are ever in Oklahoma, look me up, I will by you a coke……

Thank you Mr. Chavez for helping disuade tourists from going to Aruba! With 18-20 miles away from possible festivities, I could just see Eagle Beach-goers dodging errant artillery shells during the lunchtime lull. Yes indeed, come to Aruba and watch the opposite shoreline a few miles away light up at night with tank and artillery fire. How’s that Columbian Emerald business working? When you see the cool drug cats up on the Hill bail out by boat, baby you can kiss your a$$ goodbye.

    46. Bob on March 2nd, 2008 10:59 pm

Domestic airlines headed for Aruba will have to be careful. American Airlines and others could be accidental air targets as Chavez rattles nerves. It could be a way to create an international incident. Chavez warned Uribe: “If it occurs to you to do this in Venezuela, President Uribe, I’ll send some Sukhois” — Russian warplanes recently bought by Venezuela.

Aruba is too close to the bonfire, I wouldn’t go there on a dare. Aruba may have to call out all 57 of their troops to guard their coastline….this ain’t gonna be good.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to giving Natalee a voice in NYC! Special thanks to Bob and Dmpers for standing with the girl and of course Hotshot and J4N!

Wherever the Aruba Government goes to peddle there precious Tourism you can rest assured Natalee will have a voice until you give her Justice. Something that should have been done in June 2005 but instead you put her Family through hell for 33 Months and I see you are still doing it! Everyone knows The Aruban Govt covered up Natalee’s murder and then spent millions attacking and lying about Natalee her and her Family. For those American’s that don’t know you can rest assured they will in time.

“No Justice for Natalee No Tourism for Aruba”

      Dear Monkeys,

If you think beth Twitty has not been insulted enough by the Dutch, if you think the Dutch can not humiliate her anymore, you should read this :

      http://www.geenstijl.nl/mt/archieven/1218481.html

Natalee Holloway as an art object in a Dutch Royal Art Musuem.

    50. SUPER DAVE on March 3rd, 2008 7:20 am

jasper: which one of the dumbass sloots are you ? you seem to be just as stupid, just as guilty ! gettin on your nerves punk ? feelin a little guilty now ? we know what you are capable of. we have been fighting swine like you for over two years. you must be out of bread by now & very hungry.

    51. brie on March 3rd, 2008 7:48 am

jasper is ugly….alias Joran…that site doesn’t even work…the Dutch are up in arms looking for Joran….just wait until Beth’s book is released in Dutch. And then we have Patrick’s book….the hell has begun….Joran took Natalee’s life away and now we will take his….he is not free nor shall he ever be…a fugitive…a hunted man…the dirtiest of sub-humans….the pain inflicted upon Natalee’s family will never be forgiven…

    52. brie on March 3rd, 2008 8:07 am

Proud of your delicious sporter Anita and your disgusting POS husband that shouldn’t be practicing law….Arubans want you off of their island and the Netherlands are not your welcoming committee…

I guess Paulus will be doing the paper work to change their last name…like he probably did for Ben Vocking…so what are they going to do for jobs…Posner is probably somewhere in the background cooking something up…

    53. jasper on March 3rd, 2008 9:12 am

Thanks for your very supportive comments super dave. I am really flattered !

    54. Amsterdam 020 on March 3rd, 2008 9:45 am

      @ Brie,

why do you think the Dutch are going to buy Beth’s book? Nobody is talking about the case anymore.

    55. jasper on March 3rd, 2008 10:09 am

      @ Brie,

I am sorry, but the link does work, actually, Scared Monkeys allready have an article about it.
I am not calling you ugly, so, please, refrain from doing so to me, what have i done to you ?

According to your statement : “the Dutch are up in arms looking for Joran” … Yeah, well, Amsterdam 020 has formulated it much better. This case is as closed as a case can be. To be honested, the official statement still reads that Beth and Jug are still suspects.

    56. MissKatiekatie2u on March 3rd, 2008 11:38 am

they can change their last names all they want.. even the first one.. but people will still recogize them.. joran has a distinct frankenstein head..and let’s not forget he craves attention and cannot keep his mouth shut..ever wonder why pauulus is frustrated with him.. anyways joran would never make it as a thug or criminal like his daddy.. why? because his big mouth will get him killed…and it must worry pauulus that it could be a possibility now.. as we all think pauulus has serious underground ties some where.. he just cant keep jr’s mouth shut.. that would make me sweat too… the vandersluts even after changing names will not be able to hide.. their faces are to well known.. unless they hide in a monestary… evil in a monestary no way.. they would give him up…

    57. MissKatiekatie2u on March 3rd, 2008 11:42 am

brie well said to jasper and amsterdam with their negative attitudes.. i like what you wrote makes lots of sense and i totaly agree … maybe u didnt mean jasper was ugly in looks. but more so ugly stinking attitude ya think brie

    58. SUPER DAVE on March 3rd, 2008 11:43 am

J ASSPER : you’re welcome ! flattered is much better than flattened. i guess you are flattered while sloot has you bent over after your ghb drink. do you do him first or does he get you first ! we all are all listening !!

    59. katablog on March 3rd, 2008 1:50 pm

Monkeys: please don’t get up in arms over the dutch “artwork”. While I do not agree with it, because it’s actually a threat to Joran, it is NOT what you think it is.

Look carefully. It’s a boy wearing briefs with dirty feet. Hence, it’s Joran, the guy who walked home without his shoes. It’s a threat to him.

If they wanted to depict Natalee, the person would have long blond hair and would have a feminine figure. The sign N. Holloway is there just so you can make the connection about who the male is and why.

    60. MissKatiekatie2u on March 3rd, 2008 6:35 pm

so than ..katablog… its meant as an insult to joran.. wonder if hes seen it or heard of it…

checked the web cams around aruba beaches, 5 people on one beach, maybe 6/7 on another, about 10 folks sitting around the raddison bar and 3 at playalinda (sp). think the boycott IS working?

    65. Bob on March 4th, 2008 5:05 pm

      Hey Kaye,#64

To make matters worse, those few individuals you saw on the various CAMs aren’t tourists…..they are most likely the hotel ‘gardiners’ on lunchtime siesta, or bartenders who have no customers…LOL!

      Aruba Frosty anyone?

xplain.. menso sin sesos me tienes arta

    67. Amsterdam 020 on March 5th, 2008 3:26 am

      @66
The Dutch don’t care anymore about this case.

The Dutch are visiting the Antilles (including Curacao and Aruba) more than ever. Especially now that the Euro is so strong.

The Dutch know that Aruba hasn’t become unsafe over night just because one girl is missing (and nooooo that doesn’t mean that it isn’t terrible for her family and friends of course) and the Aruban police f*cked up.

Contrary to the US posters here, the Dutch people in general don’t care for conspiracy theories.
