Joran Van der Sloot admitting that he was telling a lie to save himself from allegations that he has admitted involvement in the death of Natalee Holloway. How narcissism and arrogance was the final undoing of Joran Van der Sloot.

Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway went missing on May 29, 2005 while vacationing in Aruba with fellow Mountain Brook students. She was last seen getting into a car with Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe. She was never seen nor heard from again.
Ever since Natalee went missing Joran Van der Sloot, one of the three suspects 
in her disappearance, has lied through his teeth at every opportunity in the media, to investigators and in his statements. In the 2+ years that Natalee Holloway has been missing and the search has gone on to find her, Joran Van der Sloot has seen fit to lie at every chance making a mockery of the investigation, the authorities, and the Aruban people. Joran Van der Sloot is single handedly responsible for their decline in tourism and why people have come to have complete contempt and hate for Aruba. It is an unfortunate situation caused by one liar that has so greatly affected so many. Even today, Joran Van der Sloot’s lies continue.
It has been reported in the Dutch press and across the world now that Peter R.
De Vries, a Dutch crime investigator, claims to have audio and video proof that Joran Van der Sloot admitted to involvement in the death and disposing of Natalee’s body. Peter R. De Vries claims that he has solved the case as to what happened to Natalee Holloway. Joran Van der Sloot is said to have provided documented audio accounts of what happened to Natalee Holloway that fateful night that she left Carlos N’ Charles with Joran, Deepak and Satish. The Sting Operation on Joran was part of an elaborate scheme by Peter R. De Vries using hidden cameras and individuals who befriended Joran over a period of time. The end result is being reported as a solving of the case as Joran van der Sloot admits involvement in her death and disappearance. After all this time, all that most everyone thought to be true, looks like it in fact was. Joran Van der Sloot had lied about Natalee’s disappearance and it appears that the truth is now coming to light.
But on Friday Dutch media reported that Van der Sloot gave details of Holloway’s death to an Aruban youngster who befriended him in the Netherlands.
The Aruban youth subsequently filmed him with a hidden camera on several occasions, during which Van der Sloot allegedly told him what happened with Holloway in 2005.
According to the reports, Van der Sloot had sexual intercourse with Holloway just before she disappeared. She allegedly passed out during the sexual act, following which Van der Sloot panicked and called a friend.
The friend took her body on a boat and then dropped it in the ocean. It remains unclear whether Holloway was dead at the time or just unconscious. (Monsters & Critics)
So what does a liar do who gets caught in the truth? What else, lie again. After have been caught telling the truth and bragging to what Joran thought were friends, Joran Van der Sloot is once again changing his story and saying that, get this, he was lying to his friend about his involvement in the death of Natalee Holloway.
(CBS/AP) Dutch student Joran van der Sloot said in a television interview Friday that he had told a friend privately he was involved in Natalee Holloway’s disappearance, but that he was lying.
Van der Sloot’s comments on Dutch television show “Pauw & Witteman” came after reports that a crime reporter had captured him in an apparent confession. He was reported to have been caught by a hidden cameras saying Holloway had died after having sex with him, and that he then dumped her body at sea with the help of a friend.
So how does a Joran Van der Sloot, a compulsive liar, get out of getting caught telling the truth? He tells another lie. So with months of secretly taped conversations with Joran Van der Sloot, we are now supposed to believe that Joran was lying to a buddy saying he was involved in Natalee Holloway’s death. What kind of a sick bastard and sociopath would find joy and brag about such an accomplishment? Exactly what kind of sociopath did Paul and Anita Van der Sloot raise? Who goes around telling people that they were responsible for a girls death and disappearance when they have proclaimed their innocence and false imprisonment in the matter.
So either Joran Van der Sloot was tricked into telling the truth for once in his life. Or Joran willingly and gleefully accepted involvement and responsibility in a death when he knew it to be false. One might have to ask the question, which is worse? One is criminal and the other is criminally insane.
Aruba its time to make a choice and prosecute Joran Van der Sloot.

Joran felt free to speak about what happened, because the case was closed and the probability of it being reopened with still no body and no forensics were minimal…until the cameras and microphones caught him.

There is no chance they are going to find anything if her body was put in water. Even if in a cage. The sea has a life of its own and you do not find fish or other marine-life bones on the beach for a very, good reason. The sea lives off of itself. I mean, Laci Peterson was at sea 3 months and there was almost nothing left of her. The unborn baby was OK for the most part because it had taken that long for her body to deteriorate enough to release it as she was anchored down. Laci’s body was skeletal at that point. Plus…it was December and the waters were cold.
Almost 3 years on the warm waters of Aruba do not offer me any hope of recovery, but no matter, we have what we need in Dudley’s confession.
Would we ever hear the truth from Joran? I doubt it. I believe that one has to take all of his lies and be able to separate the truth within the lies.
For example, in his latest confession he makes it Natalee’s fault – drug overdose supposedly not administered by him or his cohorts. We know this isn’t true.
Yes we know Joran had sex with Natalee, but I believe this is how Natalee sustained a head injury and I believe that she fought back – either making Joran angry enough to kill her or perhaps causing a reaction from the Ghb.

We KNOW that Anita and Paulus HAD to know what their young sporter was capable of. We know they HAD to know he was responsible in crimes against Natalee. Yet they sat by, did TV interviews, talked about what a wonderful boy he was and lied almost as chronically as Joran. These have to be the absolute hands down award winners of the worst parents in history award.
It’s very telling to watch Joran throw wine in de Vries face and then see his parents’ non-reaction. Anita stands there. She does nothing to show shock. Nothing to show even frustration and certainly nothing to help. Paulus also just stands. No look of shock, no grabbing and reprimanding of his son – nothing if not a little giggle.
I guess in retrospect perhaps we should actually feel a bit sorry for Joran that he had to be “raised” by parents like these.

This is what I see will happen: JvdS will say that he lied to his friend. He will be brought to trial, and then there are 2 possibilities: 1. the judge rules that this so-called confession is not enough evidence and JvdS walks free 2. the judge rules that it is enough evidence and JvdS will be sentenced for illegally disposing of a body, in which case he’ll be out of jail before you know it. This guy deserves a much higher sentence, but I expect the outcome will be very disappointing for followers of this case.

I may never see justice for this sweet young girl that had her whole life ahead of her, but do know this, you will be judged on your actions accordingly. Something else I want to add, lets say the sloots do finally tell the truth, lol. Who will believe them? At this point they can say whatever they want and expect us to believe them. They may tell a parcial truth and or the whole truth, but who knows if it is the real truth, they have lied so many times, I think it will be up to every induvidual to make their own judgement as to the truth.
Is it possible that the sloots have considered this a long time ago and hoping for this kind of outcome? Something again to think about.
To me, there has been to many leaks about this investigation and the media getting a hold of it and exploiting it to be used as evidence. Even now with the evidence that peter devries says he has has been so exploited, it makes me wonder. Last month the new evidence that was supposedly had was nothing more than old stuff and just revisited. A big let down. Now, if we have tangable evidence in a form ,thats awesome. If we don’t, then its a game again that we are all familiar with. But I guess time will tell.
From past investigations, I will be very surprised if Joran gets anything other than interogated again. Get some profesional people there to do the interogations please, providing they get to rearrest him.

I still don’t think this is the whole story. I don’t think a boat was involved. I think, rather, a boat story would be a convenient way to end people looking for Natalee should the Persistence not fine anything, which means to me she is not in water and could be found, Joran has to lead away from that.
Can’t wait to see/hear the actual order that Joran said what he did to Natalee. It would be important what order he mentioned things…such as with the Jon Benet case and the mom’s 911 call….
Patsy said, in this order…..My daughter has been kidnapped….then the 911 operator asked, what? and Patsy said…I found a note, and, my daughter is missing. (she was already trying to prove what she said was true about kidnapping)
When the operator asked her to repeat what she said (about her daughter being kidnapped) Patsy should have repeated it! If she really thought her daughter had been kidnapped, she would have repeated kidnapped again…but she didn’t and instead went on with ‘a story’ of her own actions that morning…..I found a note and my daughter is missing. And by her choice of what to say first, she is laying out her story in the order she wants the cops to believe, which is backwards of the actual events. IMO
So whatever Joran says in whatever order will be important in my mind. If he lays it out in order….sex, died, called a friend, disposed of at sea….then he is making a story, not being truthful. Truthful would be if he reported it in reverse or mixed up order.
this whole nova thing comes across kind of contrved, i think the wine was staged for by Deviries to build up a settling resoolution to the story and this is just how the dutch will get out of having to explain a rapist judge in training and all his buddies who helped, like maybe other officials, and thus save the credibility of the court system while letting jurine off the hook. For myself, I don’t give a damn what Greta or any other TV clown says or doesn’t say about the case, or what they believe. Their interest, insofar as I can see, is purely, solely, and 100% in getting air time and in attracting attention.
I don’t think any one of them really cares about Natalee, Beth, Dave, Matt, the others in the family, or in getting justice in this case.
They’ll move on to another tragedy.
WE have done much, much more to promote justice than any of the TV talk people. I firmly believe this.
Let’s keep doing it. Let’s press on with the boycott campaign and spread the word as best we can.
Now that I’m a bit calmer … what’s interesting is that, apparently, Joran didn’t disclose the name of his “friend” who had the boat and who helped him dispose of Natalee’s body.
I don’t for a moment accept that ANYTHING from Joran’s mouth HAS to be true. It seems very unlikely that he might have known that he was being set up, and so played along … and even less likely that some Arubans did this as a double-cross on Peter deVries … I don’t think this is the case … but I won’t rule it out.
And as I said before … yes, there are “good” people on Aruba. But let them take the consequences of the actions, and inactions, of their government. We owe Aruba NOTHING.

Not sure where you got your information, but it is not so! The ocean is teaming with life in every square inch. In my youth, I wanted to be an oceanographer until I was in high school and read/watch everything on the subject I can to this day. Even under the polar ice caps and in the deepest of ravines in the Atlantic…life exists and thrives.

I am counting the minutes until 3:30….I believe that what we will learn will be very hard to take…..Listening to the beginning of Chris Cuomo, he made a comment that leads me to believe that Joran goes into graphic detail about what was done to Natalee. Beth’s video clip too, gives me the impression something truly horrific was done to her, while she was alive and also to her corpse. What else could she have meant when she said..”Look what they have done to Natalee….” Her demeanor was so out of character (IMO) she seemed to be dazed or in shock!!!
It surprises me ABC got the rights to this video…it also disturbs me. It was they, after all, who gave the Sloots the coverage and credibility. Cuomo, too…..

I have a very simple way to resolve the problem, the public should demand to have Joran take a lie detector test, a brain fingerprinting test, which has shown to be 100% accurate, unlike the poligraph test. I’m just not sure if it will be accepted as a legal proof. This test can be done to any others that are suspects in this case. The person who denies to do this, is because he simply is guilty. Even if it is not accepted as legal evidence, it will at least bring clarity on the case. By the way, you can BOYCOT Aruba for having a corrupt government, and having to follow the Dutch law like a sheep to the slaughterhouse, but the VERY BEST would have also been that Joran had also gotten his BIG COMPENSATION after ruining us.
