Stacy Peterson Missing: Dr. Michael Baden Calls Death of Drew Peterson’s Wife Kathleen Savio a Homicide

One wife dead and one wife missing … the suspicion grows in both cases. Dr. Michael Baden brings a whole new angle of suspicion on Drew Peterson in the Autopsy_2cases of his dead third wife and his missing current one. The case of missing Stacy Peterson just got a bit more suspicious. Dr. Michael Baden, the former New York City chief medical examiner performed an independent autopsy on the Kathleen Savio, the 3rd wife of suspect Drew Peterson in the Stacy Peterson case and determined the following:

“It’s my opinion, to a reasonable degree of medical certainty, it’s a homicide, and that’s what I would put down on the death certificate,” Baden said during a interview on Fox News. Baden agreed that Savio died by drowning. But he said there was enough evidence, even in 2004, to rule it a homicide. “There were indications then of multiple blunt force traumas, of being beaten up,” Baden said. “One of the things we were able to look at today, those bruises were still there. And we could see from the naked eye they were fresh.” (Chicago Sun Times)

Many questions arise from Dr. Baden’s findings, why was the initial autopsy ruled an accidental death? Baden almost comes out and states that there was obvious bruises and blunt force trauma. Was this a cover up?

Former New York City chief medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden examined Kathleen Savio’s remains on Friday and determined that she died after a struggle and her body was then placed in the bathtub where she was later found, Savio’s family told WFLD-TV. “She was beat up and placed in the bathtub as a cover-up for whoever done this,” Sue Savio Doman, Savio’s sister, told the Fox affiliate. “There was marks on her hips, her arms, her elbows, on her legs, her feet. … There was a struggle. She did fight,” Savio Doman said. (Yahoo.com)

UPDATE I: Ex-Cop’s Lawyer Disputes Autopsy Report

Just like a typical defense liar, trying to throw mud on individuals with impeccable credentials. Please do not have your client, Drew Peterson, get in a beauty contest with Dr. Michael Baden … you will lose badly. You dare question Baden and Fox’s financial arrangement while Drew Peterson gets wined and dined by NBC, acting like he thinks he’s a celebrity?

An attorney for a former police officer suspected in the disappearance of his current wife disputed Sunday a renowned pathologist’s recent conclusion that one of the man’s previous wives had been killed, not accidentally drowned.

The circumstances of how Drew Peterson’s third wife died in 2004 has become part of the investigation into the former police sergeant’s missing wife, Stacy Peterson, a 23-year-old mother of two who has been missing since Oct. 28. Police have named her 53-year-old husband as a suspect in her disappearance, and authorities have called the case a possible homicide.

Drew Peterson’s attorney questioned the legitimacy of Baden’s work.

“The results of Dr. Baden’s autopsy on Ms. Savio do not surprise us, not because we believe they are accurate, but only because Dr. Baden had indicated over a week before he had performed the autopsy that he believed Kathleen’s death was not an accident,” lawyer Joel Brodsky said in a statement Sunday.

His attorney also questioned a financial arrangement between the forensic investigator and Fox News, which paid to fly Baden to Chicago, where he conducted the autopsy for Savio’s family.

I am sure Glad that I am not this Peterson guy
cause I am thinking that he took the old adage of >

“It may cheaper to kill her then to divorce her” to heart . Sad Sad commentary to his character

      Disgraceful.

If B-brook police had done the right thing with regard to Ms. Savio’s death – Stacy Peterson might be alive today! As it is… Stacy is almost surely a homicide victim as well.

Drew Peterson is a real work of art. Can you imagine killing your wife to cheat her out of her division of the estate, which included a million dollar life insurance policy for her boys and then burying her in the cheapest casket he could find?

Thanks to Dr. Baden, and thank God the leaking casket didn’t decompose the body beyond the point where a second autopsy would have been useless.

I hope to God that he is indited for the death of Ms. Saveio, soon, so the police can perform their investigation without his interference. I may be wrong, but, I still think that Stacy is in the trunk of a car or a regrigerator that is turned on its side at an old abondoned house not far from the Peterson home. However, given the chance, Drew Peterson, will no doubt move her.

He needs to be locked up or placed under 24 hour survelliance. The searchers need to look within just a couple miles from her home… again, it’s a run-down abandoned house. I don’t think she’s in water.

I think there’s more here than meets the eye.

Just how quick this whole situation seemed to unravel for this Peterson guy. Why was there no exumation of the 3rd. wife until now? According to many, the suspicions were always there. My feeling is that the higher ups sensed there was something wrong with the M.E.’s conclusion all along (how could they not), but turned a blind eye anyway.

      NOW . . .

The case has gone high profile and Bolingbrook, Ill L.E. higher ups are now prepared to hang him out to protect their reputations, for what they should have done in the first place. Interesting how they would not accept Peterson’s resignation. Very telling behaviour from both parties.

But what I hope also doesn’t go unnoticed, are the same Bolingbrook, Ill L.E. people, so far unknowns, that either knowingly or unknowingly assisted Peterson so that he could walk around freely to commit the same crime again. They need to be held accountable also.

I agree that Drew Peterson seems dirty and culpable in this case. However Baden was spouting on Greta’s show he thought it was a homicide long before he did the autopsy so his conclusion is hardly a shock.
The bigger picture will be if the official 2nd autopsy leads to a proper investigation that was never done in the 1st place.
Baden is a great Path no question but he is also known for some questionable testimony like in the Phil Spector case.

      Hey Drew

Since you state Stacy left you for another man. How about this. There has to be phone records, computer files etc, to prove she left you. Where are they?

I think Peterson is pretty confident that Stacy’s body will not be found. He’s a cocky SOB. I am not saying that I don’t think she’ll be found, but I do think Peterson is pretty sure of himself at least with regard to Stacy. Now that Dr. Baden has concluded that that the third wife’s death was a homocide, I think DP is pretty close to crapping his pants.

I can’t stand to watch him on TV. His facial expressions and body language are inappropriate. He’s not sad about Stacey, but he is worried about himself. Why hasn’t he said, “Stacy, please come home to your children. I’ll give you a divorce if that’s what you want, but please come home and show everyone you are alive for the sake of your children and to keep me from being arrrested.”? Why? Because he isn’t sad about her being gone and he has no idea how to pretend to be a grieiving/worried husband…because HE’S NOT.

Also, why does he refer to his 3rd wife by her last name like she’s just another victim on the police blotter?

Check out http://www.behindthebluewall.com. If Peterson’s case isn’t there yet, it will be soon.

I hope he gets cocky… that’s when they make mistakes.

I think a lot of people are overlooking the other missing persons tied to this case. Besides Kathleen and Stacy there were boyfriends and relatives of some of the wifes, The wife of Tom Morphy who helped move the barrel is presumed missing or dead, Stacy’s Mom who walked away with a purse and Bible ( weird part is Anthony Cales was bitching about a family bible at Drews house which Casandra later picked up), was it the same Bible??? . . Fishy for so many to be missing in one group and I suspect a reason Drew is getting help (if guilty lol) in covering for him for his alleged crimes is there are other guilty people in this also and conspiracy charges will be brought forth.
