Arubans Protest Against Nepotism and Oduber Cabinet

NO NEPOTISM … NO PEACE?

Arubans protest on “One Happy Island” against the Nelson Oduber, MEP Cabinet. If Arubans can understand the unfair practice of nepotism against their own, maybe they can now imagine that same unfair treatment to those who are not citizens of Aruba.

Most important aim was to tell the Dutch delegation of the fraction-leaders that not everything is fine on the island.  With texts like ‘Netherlands, please help us and set us free’ and ‘Cabinet Oduber, synonym for nepotism’

If Arubans feel that they are the unfair victims of the “Oduber Cabinet” that they feel is synonymous with nepotism, imagine what happens when that same favoritism is used in the investigation of a missing person not from Aruba. It cuts both ways. If one believes that nepotism is rampant in the present government in Aruba, then you must also believe that the same preferential treatment was used in the Natalee Holloway investigation. Its the protection and preferential treatment of all those with ties to the“Oduber Cabinet.” There is no difference.

More Human Bones Found in Aruba in October? … “One Boney Island”

First it was a skeleton found by tourists recently in Aruba. One would think that finding such a thing would not be common place. However, not in Aruba where it now appears that even more bones have been found. According to this poster, a human forearm bone was found in Aruba and confirmed by the ALE. This seems to be a common occurrence these days in Aruba. Who needs to comb the shores for sea shells when you can look for human bones instead. I guess the ATA and AHATA may want to add that to their travel brochures as things to do while in Aruba. There is some thing that I want to find washing up on shore while on vacation.

Tourists have no need to bring home souvenir t-shirts from Aruba these days, instead they can bring human bones they find on the beech. Of course one may have a little explaining to do when one goes through customs. However, if they say I was in Aruba, it’s normal to find body parts on the beach that will make it all OK.

Pilar Stofega Charged with Harassment in Internet Revenge Case

If one thinks that doing certain things on the internet is without consequences, think Internet_crime_sceneagain. Creating phony profiles on-line and doing so with the “intent” to be vindictive does have its consequences.  34 year old Pilar Stofega has been charged with with second-degree harassment and breach of peace using the internet to get revenge on an old boyfriend in an effort to break up his marriage.

Waterford police say she created phony profiles of the former boyfriend’s current wife on some adult Web sites that included the wife’s home and work phone numbers and high school yearbook picture.

Stofega said she did to it “to be vindictive, knowing that the profiles would create marital problems between” the victim and her husband, according to court documents.

The plot came to life when strange men started calling a Waterford woman’s house over the summer, saying they had seen her profile on an adult Web site. (Yahoo News)

Miami Dolphins & NY Giants to play NFL Game in London, England … “People Spoke English in London”

The Miami Dolphins and New York Giants are going to be playing a regular seasonMap_world NFL game in London, England this Sunday. Other than the fact that this is a ridiculous idea to market the NFL on a global stage, the game makes all the sense in the world. So much for football being about planned routines, implementing game plans and having players rest from the brutal hits they take during the course of a game. Let’s forget the 7 hour plane fight and the jet lag. The only thing more absurd and comical than NFL suits unfairly making two teams travel to London to play a game are the following comments from Miami Dolphins linebacker, Channing Crowder. Please tell us that he was kidding and being sarcastic.

Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder confessed today he didn’t know until Tuesday that people spoke English in London.

Crowder, a former Florida Gator and Atlanta native, apparently isn’t sure where the plane is headed when it takes off this afternoon for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants in Wembley Stadium.

“I couldn’t find London on a map if they didn’t have the names of the countries,” Crowder said. “I swear to God. I don’t know what nothing is. I know Italy looks like a boot. I learned that.

“I know (Washington Redskins linebacker) London Fletcher. We did a football camp together. So I know him. That’s the closest thing I know to London. He’s black, so I’m sure he’s not from London. I’m sure that’s a coincidental name.” (Palm Beach Post)

So do you think he was kidding or serious? What do you think?
