Caribbean Changes Marketing Model … All for One and One for All, Folks its Called a Trend

Hey Caribbean, its not about the marketing  …Caribbean_islands_map10 Adopting a socialized marketing campaign where one size fits all is almost laughable.

After years of “separatism” marketing, the diverse Caribbean islands are developing a single regional brand to promote the tourism industry that drives most of their economies. The new marketing campaign looks to reverse a decade long declining trend. Some Caribbean islands tourism decline are greater than others. With the advent of the internet, it may be real difficult to reverse a tourism trend when people can read about the wide spread crime, drugs and money laundering that occurs. Years ago, no one paid any attentions … not any more.

“Whether we like it or not, we’re all intrinsically tied,” Chastanet said in an interview Oct. 20 at the trade organization’s 30th annual conference in San Juan. “If you can create more awareness of the Caribbean, then all the destinations in the region will benefit.”

Caribbean tourism, which drives most of the region’s economies, grew at an average annual rate of less than 3.5 percent over the past 10 years, compared with 4.5 percent around the world, the trade group’s statistics show

However, the Caribbean just does not get it when it comes to travel. Tourism is not only cyclical, its fickle and its human choice. Tourism is like buying a computer. There is always a bigger and better place to go.  People will vacation in places that are new and upcoming. Not places that have done nothing with their hotels, restaurants or infrastructure in 10, 15 or 20 years. The Caribbean was hot in the 80’s and 90’s and not because of phony marketing campaigns. It was new and different. People today have seen it and done it, that’s why they have moved on to other areas and locations to travel and spend their hard earned money. Tourists also like kid friendly and safe places.

The Mediterranean is the place to go these days and no marketing campaign can change that. The cruise lines have certainly learned that fact as they have allocated more ships to the Mediterranean and away from the Caribbean. The Caribbean may want to save its money on marketing and invest it in their police departments to provide some sort of appearance that safety is a concern. Caribbean …. actions speak louder than words and in some cases it just doesn’t matter. A trend is just that and there is nothing one can do to change it. Disco was popular too at one time.

As far as ARUBA is concerned … no ‘marketing’ can ever change, or conceal, the essential darkness that is at its center.

You can dress up a whore in a queen’s outfit, but she’s still a whore.

I trust that my meaning is plain ….

    2. Richard on October 23rd, 2007 2:39 pm

By the way, no offense is meant by comparing the demimonde (if that’s the right word) to Aruba.

The former have some merits; the latter, none.

    3. Rob on October 23rd, 2007 3:27 pm

For some reason I’m thinking Global Warming is a cure for this problem. If we can just get those blasted ice caps to melt faster….LOL

    4. Miss-Underestimated on October 23rd, 2007 3:31 pm

Really, how long will that work? It is a dog eat dog industry. The only thing I can think of is to overbook another island and then send them over to Aruba.

Yep Richard, the whore and queen, it is like perfuming a pig.

It is said all very well here…

“it may be real difficult to reverse a tourism trend when people can read about the wide spread crime, drugs and money laundering that occurs.”

Natalee was not the first, and not the last victim of the low rent scum that inhabit these islands.

There will be other stories to come in the future of just how degenerate these places are.

      Yes Miss-U, you said it!

      SM says it well:

“It may be real difficult to reverse a tourism trend when people can read about the wide spread crime, drugs and money laundering that occurs.”

And then, there’s that World Drug Report, that’s got some really serious ‘ouch’ factor issues to consider, particularly when it comes to considering whether GETTING OUT ALIVE AND COMING HOME is an important part of the “vacation” package to consider when choosing WHERE to travel for your vacation:

      WORLD DRUG REPORT:

      1. Trafficking: Organized crime seeks the path of least resistance. Many trafficking routes traverse zones of instability,
      and where corruption negates interdiction.

The challenge is to block these routes by increasing law enforcement,
stopping the diversion of precursor chemicals, improving the integrity of the judicial system, and – not least — fighting
corruption among officials at borders and in local administrations.

Otherwise, as in parts of Central America,
THE CARIBBEAN, and the Balkans, countries will be caught in the crossfire of drug-related crime.

      2. 50 % of global cocaine seizures
took place in South America, THE CARIBBEAN, and Central America in 2005.

      3. Cocaine is frequently trafficked to Europe via THE CARIBBEAN region.

      4. 38 % of the cocaine destined for the
USA transits along THE CARIBBEAN coast of Central America.

      5. Increases in cocaine use have been reported from a number of countries in South America, Central America and THE CARIBBEAN, reflecting the GROWTH of consumer markets along the distribution chain.

      6. Cocaine continues to transit THE CARIBBEAN on its way to Europe.

      7. One of the main cocaine trafficking routes to Europe continues to go via THE CARIBBEAN, where the Netherlands Antilles, NOTABLY ARUBA, are at the centre for shipment of cocaine to the Netherlands.

      8. The Dutch authorities made more than 40 per cent of their total
seizures in the waters around the Netherlands Antilles in 2004 and in 2005, the second largest cocaine seizures in THE CARIBBEAN region (more than 5 mt) were made in
      the island of ARUBA.

      9. ARUBA ranks higher, for its number of cocaine seizures, over several considerably larger nations, throughout several regions across the world, including over the Dominican Republic, Italy, Canada, Guatamala, France and the United Kingdom.

And as Deetch says, Natalee was not the first victim of vicious, barbaric human rights violations in Aruba, and she will not be the last.

Boycott Aruba, and already, your chances increase that you and all your loved ones will survive your “vacation”, get out alive, and all make it home together at the end of your vacation, specifically if you choose a travel destination that actually values the life of an American Tourist, and one that does not cater to terrorist murderers and their savage co-conspirators.

BOYCOTT THE DEPRAVITY OF CORRUPT POLICE, CORRUPT JUDICIARY, CORRUPT PROSECUTORS!

BOYCOTT CORRUPT INFRASTRUCTURES THAT DON’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT PROTECTING THE TOURIST!

BOYCOTT ARUBA’S MESSAGE TO AMERICAN TOURISTS AND THEIR FAMILIES: “NO CORPSE, NO CASE”.

      Good Job, Pearl…

But, for me, it’s all about Principal.

There’s crime, violence, drugs, machismo and,

even, murder in every part of the world…

But, only Aruba and the Netherlands will,

actually, REWARD a person for crime….

Tax it, like it’s a commodity.

      .

We have to choose places that

      are safe for our families,

      especially…our children.

      .

We, live in a different mind set.

      We need to educate ourselves

about the world we live in…

      .

      Some Nations,

just aren’t as friendly as others.

Besides, what they did to Natalee,

      they did to us.

      .

      It’s not a trend…

People are AFRAID to go there!

      .

      Boycott Aruba!

Well, you have another dutch parliamentarian on your side: yesterday a m.o.p. (Geert Wilders from the PVV-party) who visited Curaçao said that the islands were pack of knaves. He litteraly said: “One more mistake and as far as I’m concerned we put all of these islands on Markt.nl (Marketplace.nl, something like Amazon.com)”.

And the Antilleans….. Their not amused!

    13. Pearl on October 24th, 2007 8:22 am

TEN REASONS WHY YOU DON”T WANT TO GO TO ARUBA:

      10. When you go outside to lay on the beach, who wants to see an un-prosecuted murder suspect walking by, who proceeds to lie to another female American tourist as he tells her: “I’m vacationing from the Netherlands and staying at the Holiday Inn.”
      9. If you choose to go to your hotel casino, do you really need a predator’s predatory father sitting next to your daughter, engaging her in dialogue?
      8. While walking on the beach to sight-see, is it really a tourist attraction to discover
body parts of previously murdered victims strewn across the beach, and bones with flesh still on them, declared as having belonged to a “donkey”?
      7. If you decide to gather at one of the local night spots and order a drink, shouldn’t
you be able to drink the drink without ending up drugged, kidnapped, gang raped, murdered and .. suddenly … ‘missing’ for two and half years?
      6. “Spokespersons” for your travel destination should actually have morals and integrity to go with their words, shouldn’t they?
      5. As a paying tourist, wouldn’t it be reasonable to expect that when you ask the
“beach security” ( founded by an Aruban Police officer ) for “help”, that a former Aruban police officer would actually understand what the word “missing” means, and
why that actually constitutes an emergency when speaking of a child as the one
      who is “missing”.
      4. When you ask the “beach security” for help, you should at least be able to expect
they’d actually point you towards the “real police” – if they aren’t going to play the part, right?
      3. The “real police” should actually show up and take action, when you make several formal requests for help, and no one shows up until – what appears to be – twelve hours later, while the “real” police chief then claims to the press, that he knew of the report when it was made while his “visibility team” says they never informed him.
      2. The statements by the “real police” to the press aren’t matching up with the “real
actions” that they claim to the world they are taking, while the murder suspects statements to the police aren’t matching up either, with all the evidence that’s literally being ignored by the police!
      1. When the victim’s family members nail the real murder suspects within three hours of their arrival to the island, when the victim’s family members are the only people with integrity and morals to defend two falsely accused black men for crimes committed by privileged Dutch/Aruban men and demand their release from prison, – when the victim’s family- after nailing the real suspects, is then told to go search the crack houses, while police tear up a confession made by one murder suspect to gang rape, murder and burial of the victim, ….nope, that’s not a healthy, safe vacation environment for you or your loved ones.

A vacation should end with the tourist coming home, particularly a child…and preferably, alive.

A vacation should include returning to your homeland, embracing your loved ones, going on with your life, your liberty, your pursuit of your dreams and your happiness.

A vacation – is indeed an act of trust between yourself and the infrastructure of your destination point in which you enter into a partnership of trust, between you, and that infrastructure, concerning the precious sanctity of your loved ones’ life.

If the infrastructure cannot be trusted, as we now know that ARUBA’S INFRASTRUCTURE CANNOT BE TRUSTED, then exercise your God-given rights to BOYCOTT that infrastructure based on the very simple tenets of INTEGERITY, HONOR, AND JUSTICE as being mandatory, as FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS that MUST be the bedrock of any infrastructure purporting to be “happy, friendly, and safe” and wanting YOUR TRUST CONCERNING THE SANCTITY OF YOUR LOVED ONE’S LIFE, AS A CONSIDERATION FOR A TRAVEL DESTINATION POINT.

If the infrastructure cannot be trusted, then that location cannot be trusted as a travel destination point for the people you LOVE and for whom you expect to return home.

In Aruba, the vacation is a “no corpse, no case” trip into hell, where liars run the island, devils run the courts, men and women with no conscience nor integrity take oaths to “defend and protect” the communities they are entrusted with serving and protecting, where criminals end up aided and abetted by depraved police, while a defenseless, helpless brutally victimized child and her frightened family, is left abandoned to the hands of savages who are then granted their freedom, as their barbaric savagery is condoned by police, the judiciary and the government!

In Aruba, the “end” for the vacation, is the beginning of a life-sentence of suffering, torment and misery not only for the victim, but for all their loved ones.

In Aruba, the “special” all expenses included conclusion they have saved for you is this: YOUR LOVED ONE WILL NEVER GO HOME AGAIN. And they will see to it that your loved one is vilified, slandered, and her good honorable name chopped up by hatchets from their version of “press” and “spokespersons”.

That is not friendly. That is not safe. That is immoral, depraved conduct.

It is criminal conduct. And it is a very dangerous environment.

And all of that indeed constitutes violations of Natalee Holloway’s HUMAN RIGHTS!

UNITED WE STAND IN LOVING NATALEE.

      Justice for Natalee Holloway.
Contain your criminals and murderers, Aruba, NOT the victim!

      Set Natalee Holloway free!

Honor this child by honoring her right to have her truth told, her voice heard, her right to justice served!

Honor Natalee’s right to come home!

Justice for Natalee and for her family!

    14. Pearl on October 24th, 2007 8:42 am

Let’s be real clear about something:

      NATALEE WAS NOT A “MISTAKE”.
Natalee and all her friends and chaperones made ONE mistake and it was this: they TRUSTED ARUBA’s word at being “safe”. They trusted Aruba’s word at being “friendly”. They learned the brutal truth: nothing about what happened to Natalee Holloway at the hands of Aruban officials and murderers – was ever “safe and friendly”.

The depravity displayed by the Aruban police, the Aruban prosecutors, the Aruban judges, the murderers and all their co-conspirators was never a “mistake”.

There is a series of words, in legal terms for what these unscrupulous people did.
That is the scar of disgrace on Aruba’s head!

That is the reason why people now FEAR the island.
Add to that, the fact that roaming rapists who we know TARGETTED NATALEE HOLLOWAY,who drugged her, gang raped her, murdered her and who now continue to “CONTAIN” HER, are now granted full freedom to target more of our children.

We can promise you, we will do everything we can as Americans to insure that not one more of our precious children fall victim to the butcher-criminals on Aruba’s soil. Not another American child’s blood will be shed on Aruba’s soil. Mothers across America will promise you that.

      MISTAKE!!! ???

      I don’t think so.

Try: Criminal intent to obstruct justice.

Try: criminal intent to inflict emotional harm on the VICTIM’S VICTIMIZED FAMILY!

Try: Co-conspirators to drugging a child, kidnapping, rape and murder.

Try: co-conspirators to the desecration of a tourist’s body, that denies her traumatized family of something as HUMAN and decent as a BURIAL.

Try: desecration of a tourist’s body, which Aruba calls “CONTAINMENT WITH THE DEAD”.

Did Natalee Holloway CONTAIN HERSELF “WITH” PAULUS VAN DER SLOOT AT 19 MONTANJA?

      I don’t think so.

Try DESECRATION of a little, helpless, brutally and savagely victimized child who a pack of savage men GANGED UP ON.

Please, understand: they will never be able to “dance” around the truth by using words that neither hold any credibility, honor, or truth to what THEY DID to Natalee Holloway.

NOTHING IN THIS CHILD’S BRUTAL SUFFERING WAS EVER A “MISTAKE”.

The mistake was that these TRUSTING TOURISTS actually BELIEVED the phoney lies told to them: that Aruba was “safe”, that Aruba was “friends” to the United States, and that Aruba actually “cared” about our children.

ACTIONS TELL US WHAT WORDS MUST FOLLOW!

They cannot “decorate” this barbaric savagery with “words” that have no meaning or truth.

The truth is that men and women entrusted with upholding the sanctity of justice, the integrity of honor in law-enforcement, who instead PARTNERED WITH MURDERERS, RAPISTS AND THEIR CO-CONSPIRATORS, thus becoming co-conspirators in these criminal acts themselves!!!!

The only solution now is JUSTICE, INTEGRITY, HONOR and TRUTH!

      Justice for Natalee Holloway.

Contain the MURDERERS, NOT THE VICTIM.

Contain all the co-conspirators, not the victim.

Honor this child by honoring her right to have her truth told, her voice heard, her right to justice served!

Honor Natalee by honoring her truth!

      Justice for Natalee Holloway.

BOYCOTT ARUBA AND ALL DUTCH TERRITORY.

to holland, the islands must seem like black holes. they’re always bragging about how much money they’re making on the tourist business yet always begging for more money, benefits, and “freedom to run their own affairs” at the same time. just like wild teens, they want daddy’s money but don’t want to hear any advice or criticisms about mistakes they keep making over and over and over.

EURobert … remember, Curacao is the island where Amy Bradley disappeared in March 1998. The cruise ship, which had docked in Aruba the night before, put into port there. She was last seen being led into a secluded place by a cruise ship employee just as the ship was docking.

Keep that in mind. It ISN’T just Natalee.

    18. richard on October 24th, 2007 1:48 pm

Pearl, in number 10 you cite the increase in trafficking. Arms, drug and human trafficking are all tied together. And the routes include Aruba.

At the risk of boring everyone, let me say it again: if Natalee had accidentally died, or had died from homicide, rape, murder, or whatever … and IF Aruba had taken prompt action, and prosecuted those involved, my guess is that few people would now remember the case.

Why? Because crime is, God knows, found everywhere.

And remember, too, Paulus vd Scum was so important, so influential, with so many connections … that he didn’t get the judicial job that he wanted.

What am I getting at? I don’t think the Aruban cover-up would have gone to the lengths that it has if only one failed wannabe judge and three punk kids were involved.

My belief remains that Aruba knows something darker is involved. Something that would destroy its tourist business now and forevermore.

Something that would chill the blood of anyone who heard the name “Aruba.”

      What could that be?

Go back to my initial comment here: arms, drugs, and human trafficking are all interlinked. And Caribbean routes touch on Aruba, also a center of money-laundering.

It doesn’t mean that Natalee is still alive. But I don’t think she died the night she vanished, and I don’t think it happened on Aruba.

And it’s possible that she is still “alive” in a way. Remember the photos that were shown of Amy Bradley, and the (rare) sightings of her that have come to light over the years.

Can’t happen to an American? Think again….

    19. Pearl on October 24th, 2007 4:37 pm

Richard, your hard work and thinking always leads you to ask good questions.

So many deceptive events took place in Aruba.
So much evil, one can barely handle thinking about it, no less writing about it.

And then, there’s just these three insidious events, of a chain of horrific cruelty that gives pause to thinking about what Natalee Holloway was put through by the savages who took her away:

      1. FBI informed Beth, that they had reason to believe that Natalee was dead. Two and a half years ago, the FBI was already looking at what Aruba kept referencing as “missing”, as CRIMINAL, of which one of the crimes was that of MURDER.
Beth has firmly stated she believes that Natalee is no longer alive, and I will leave it at that, out of respsect for Beth and our FBI.

      2. That confession: “We killed Natalee and buried her.” And then, there were those photos of Joran on his jaunt to the beach, leading police to the location of her body, while his father referenced Natalee as a corpse, on day ONE of the investigation.

      3. The words from the mouth of the sociopath, himself: “I’ll laugh if they find her – alive,” or some wording to this affect…and all that blood, on that mattress, that got whisked away faster than the two black men sitting in prison, falsely accused for a crime that certain corrupt police already knew they had nothing to do with at all.

It’s interesting, isn’t it Richard – that organized crime seeks the path of least resistance. And isn’t that the very path they used in stealing Natalee into their car? – THROUGH THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE?
Through the path of their narcotics they slipped into her drink, which did indeed make her a HOSTAGE, RICHARD. This means that everything they did to her from that point on, made her the victim of – well, ALL THAT THEY DID TO HER.
There are words used for such terrorist activity, which I believe includes human trafficking, Richard, particularly when you consider that Deepak was speaking of JACKPOTS ( $$$$$), and who knows how much money was passed around the table, as they took turns raping her. Does the one who drugs her get a certain take of the money, Richard? How about the one who leads her out the door and into his car? What about the driver? What’s his take? I guess that’s why they call it HUMAN TRAFFICKING. It doesn’t much matter where they take the victim. In Natalee’s case, the terrorism began when they led her into that car, and then proceeded to drive her to 19 Montanja where the father of all lies lives.

There is still a good deal that we have not yet been told, Richard. Maybe it would even “shock the world”.

It’s interesting how the three men who took Natalee away, all chose the path of least resistance in taking her.

Maybe their actions were based on what they themselves learned from their elders, as the paths they chose that night, seemed to begin with leading her into a car and taking her to 19 Montanja, and all of this carried out through a method of what is reported by the federal government as being that which organized crime members use: THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE.

Sometimes, I wonder why Deepak was so incensed about talking on the record to police, about WHERE all his money comes from, that JORAN specifically mentioned in one of his statements.

Creatures from the dark side, who revert back to the path of least resistance in ganging up on ONE little one-hundred pound girl, so that they could rape her, beat her, and murder her, and then steal her defenseless little body from her grieving mother, father and family.

      Creatures from the netherworld!

Frankly Richard, I’m shocked that any of the other Caribbean islands would enter into the contamination of Aruba, and want to have anything to do whatsoever with Aruba concerning “advertising”, but reading about what truly goes on in the Caribbean should address any potential traveler’s questions about the Caribbean and matters of travel and “safety”, which don’t seem to be able to co-exist together when it comes to the island of Aruba.

      Protect your loved ones, Richard.
      Boycott Aruba and anything Dutch.

Help bring home Natalee’s truth by honoring her right to having her truth told, her voice heard, her right to justice served.

Together we do stand united with Beth, Richard.

UNITED IN LOVING NATALEE AND SEEKING HER RIGHT TO JUSTICE!

    20. Patti on October 24th, 2007 4:50 pm

      Robert:

That’s great news. But, what are their plans in clearing up THIS mistake? Surely, they are not going to leave the American public in a state of mind that the Arawak Nation (Aruba) was allowed to commit such a savage crime against an innocent child wihout any reprisal, justice and reprimand?

Isn’t it obvious that this is a mistake that reaches beyond what we might consider to be human error, to a direct attack; an intentional act of violence against, not only an American, but the liberty under which every nation is required to conduct itself under the human rights act as well as laws set forth by the United Nations?

This was not just a young girl being attacked by a few punk kids, but, rather, a child being held hostage to a corrupt nation of criminals that call themselves Governmental Authorities.

Please, emplore the Queen, to send Natalee home. Be brave and humane enough to stand up for what is right and put the faith that is lacking, back into the hands of the Netherlands. Remove and punish the Arawak Nation for even thinking for one minute that it’s power is greater and beyond that of the civilized world and let every man, woman and child feel safe to travel to that region of the world again, someday.

We MUST remove the Arawak Nation that thrives in secrecy and corrupts every living thing on that island. Until there is an end to religious persecution, Aruba will never be free. Stand United with us in stopping the trafficking of men, women and children and prevent this act of senseless murder from happening again.

    21. Patti on October 24th, 2007 5:21 pm

      Pearl – #19:

It would shock the world, alright, to know the depth of power a secret society can hold on it’s uninformed and unsuspecting victims. When ALL is told, we shall find out that there were many girls and boys that were killed just like Natalee for the pure joy of exerting one’s power over another in a spirit of celebration.

800,000 people missing a year, mostly women and children and many of them being shipped right through the region of the Netherland Antilles. We can only guess at the amount of pain and suffering that has been inflicted on the ones left behind in Aruba.

      Like Richard say’s:

Where is our own government? How serious is the Secretary of State in getting to the root of the problem and investigating the worst of violators… Columbia, Venezuela, Panama and the Dutch Antilles. Their reports say it all, but, yet there have been no sanctions against these violators, nor have there been any serious investigations to assess just how extensive the problem is.

Shocking… no doubt. The WHOLE WORLD will weep.

Bondia had an article yesterday Oct 23 about how gambling laws and casino laws are not enforced. Good example of it being the declarations of none other than Urine van der Sloot himself and how he gambles frequently. Of course that doesnt raise any flags just as much as the declarations of Deepak of all the windshields Sloot has broken outside CnC’s. hmmm….any aruban’s out there wondering who broke their windshields? and Sloot was in da house? Unless you are Steve Croes and can’t put 2 and 2 together……

    23. brie on October 24th, 2007 8:57 pm

Joran has been a menace to Aruba for along time. He is not a typical boy, so Anita says, just what kind of kids are you raising. They don’t know the difference between right and wrong. Ask the warden at the Aruban jail. He knows Joran and he said he very aware of his temperament. And not surprised he was in jail!…

I would still like to know why the suspects, before they were suspects, were at the police station the morning of May 30th. That certainly spells, Natalee to me. That is when the cover-up began. Did she die at the Sloot’s house and then they dumped her on the beach. And later, Joran says he left her there! Or did they put her in the Marriott basin? The Ale was involved, when Beth arrived they knew there was trouble. Protecting the island, the psychopath that stalks women, we know it all existed. The approval of an underage psychopath allowed to drink, gamble, kidnap, rape and murder American girls. You know he his guilty…why doesn’t he have to pay for his crime..

    24. brie on October 24th, 2007 9:21 pm

I don’t think Paulus is a big deal on the island…maybe unknown to many…but his connection with Posner and his devious paper work through the years certainly warrants Dutch investigation! If you can’t pass the test to a wanna-be-judge, what does that say. Someone knows something!

    25. Patti on October 24th, 2007 10:47 pm

Joran is a psychopath, but nothing compared to his mother and father who raised him to feel that he was ABOVE the law. What are they to do with the delinquent son of a man who, not only thinks that he is above the law of the World… but is?

      “Judge-in-Training” that in itself

      sounds suspicious to me.

Where did he get his money?

Is Joran’s father’s position so powerful,

that he felt compelled to smash the windshields,

drown the child, drink and gamble, drug and rape,

reaking havoc on the hypocritical balance of his

family, his father and the island, itself?

      I say yes.

      EVERYTHING in the minds

      of the psychopaths,

      was EXPENDIBLE…

      Nothing was beyond their CONTROL…

      nothing…

      .

      And… Joran knew it.

      .

And now… it’s up to the Netherlands.

      .

What’s it gonna be Queen Bea? Is the power of a
man-eating monster more powerful and respected
than that of the crown, itself?

      I say, “Slay the Dragon”

Cut off it’s head and hurl it

      into the depths of hell.

Let the REAL world know that

no one and nothing is above your laws…

or sleep with the dragon for all eternity…

      your choice.

      Diver Boy, Jerry – #22:

I know you’re not surprised. They know the ails that legalized gambling puts on their population. Obviously, they know that the crime rate rises in cities who’s citizens are inflicted with the illness.

      They don’t care… it’s all about money.

Let the children go hungry, let their mothers weep while their fathers are off chasing their dreams of attaining wealth and wild women when all they really needed was right there at home.

The problem is that the fine citizens of Aruba are either too self indulgent with what some call pleasure-seeking or just plain stupid. They have ALLOWED themselves to become victims… with no sense of societal responsibility.

If the people of Aruba want MY business, they will have to become a member of the Human Race,(FIRST). No human would treat NATALEE’S family the way they did.

#27 Ray – Hope you don’t live in the US. If that’s the way you think then you shouldn’t be spending a dime in the good ol’ USA. Ever hear of Pat Tillamn?

just a snippet from the AP after Tillman’s testimony before congress (4/27/07):

Kevin Tillman said members of his family had sought for years to get at the truth, and had concluded that they were “being actively thwarted by powers that are more interested in protecting a narrative than getting at the truth and seeing justice is served.”

    30. Ray on October 26th, 2007 2:00 am

YOYO if the truth hurts thats bad. Do you live in Lieruba???.
The ARMY tried to make Tillman look like a bigger Hero than he really was.but his family got to bury his body and say goodby. The ARMY did not list him as missing and then dispose of his body where it could not be found, did they?
What the army did does not compare to what LIERUBA did to NATALEE an the Holloway family.
      Have a nice day YOYO.

    31. yoyo muffintop on October 26th, 2007 11:55 am

Ray – “The ARMY did not list him as missing and then dispose of his body where it could not be found, did they?” Do you have proof of this happening in Aruba? Nope. 2+ years later and still no one knows what happened.

      Re-read:
“family had sought for years to get at the truth, and had concluded that they were “being actively thwarted by powers that are more interested in protecting a narrative than getting at the truth and seeing justice is served.””

This is exactly what the Holloway/Twitty family wants.
Have a nice day to you as well.

    32. Patti on October 26th, 2007 3:52 pm

The truth is that the family has been provided everything they need to decifer the truth for themselves. The Chicago Videos, the suspects statements, even the fly-over that was made to photograph the furniture truck, were all information that is enough to find the truth.

And what’s wrong with wanting to know the truth of what happened to your daughter? Yo Yo, you spend way too much time trying to dissect the most rediculous things. It makes you look petty, desperate and foolish. Being, actively, thwarted by the powers that be in Aruba or anywhere, when it comes to your own flesh and blood, is not only heartless but is against the law, as well.

Are we to perceive you as one that supports the criminals as opposed to supporting the innocent… or simply one that wants to come up with every excuse in the book for what was done, citing circumstances in your own sick mind that are similar to distract attention. If that’s what it is, you’re doing a real bang up job because nothing that you have said has made any sense to anyone since you started on this, your latest rant.

Be smart, be courageous and be empathetic… everyone deserves justice; and, where justice fails, is not a loop hole through which you can crawl to protect the guilty. Why don’t you seek truth for all, instead of using everything you have to attack a child and her family? What do you have against Natalee or her family to fill you with such vengence? The Lord says, “Let vengence be mine”… not yours, so you need to get over whatever it is that’s stuck in your craw and get over it. The hatred is devouring you.

      Justice for Natalee

    33. yoyo muffintop on October 26th, 2007 8:11 pm

Patti – please re-post one thing I’ve written that is attacking the family or Natalee.
“you spend way too much time trying to dissect the most rediculous things”. You know what, the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard is that she was eaten by cannibals.

      Patti 10/26:
“citing circumstances in your own sick mind that are similar to distract attention. If that’s what it is, you’re doing a real bang up job because nothing that you have said has made any sense to anyone since you started on this, your latest rant.”

      10/24/07
      Beth Holloway:
Oh no, no, no and we’re not giving up on the investigation but trying to make good positive things too for other people because I feel as if until we get answers about what happened to Natalee I will press forward and finish this travel safety education and keep the foundation going.

      Mary Tillman 9/25/05
‘IT’S HARD TO KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE’
That’s the lament of Mary Tillman…
For the moment, all that is left are the memories and the thick binders spread across Mary Tillman’s dining room table in San Jose. As she waits for the Pentagon investigators to finish their new probe, she wonders whether they will ask the hard questions. Like other family members, “I just want accountability,” she said. “I want answers.”

2 years later and they are still looking for answers…your right, nothing similar.

      Read the article here:http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2005/09/25/MNGD7ETMNM1.DTL

    34. Patti on October 26th, 2007 9:58 pm

      Yo Yo:

I can’t recall the MOST rediculous thing that you’ve said, but you have been at the heels of Natalee and her family for as long as I can remember. If I were to guess, I would think that you’re jealous of the attention she gets, and, yet you can’t even properly present another case, well enough, to attract our interest. You need to try a different approach.

In conclusion, I will say that cannibalism is alive and well in many parts of the world… Aruba being one of them. Anyone that denies that there are secret societies, Indian Nations or African tribes that practice spiritism, magic and cannibalism is, truly, living in a dream world

you gettin’ the medical grade stuff, or possibly livin’ in mendo or oregon? Only mexican dirt here.
      I gotta try yours :)

remember it’s puff pass puff, not puff puff pass :)

    36. Patti on October 27th, 2007 12:09 am

      Yo Yo:

I don’t smoke, so you can puff without passing, thank you. Come to mention it, it’s not what you say… it’s how you say it that can be a hazard.

I did a little research while you were taxing your brain with that most ingenious come-back. I’m not going to post the most gruesome things that I found, as there are pictures of Koreans eating even the flesh of babies and shopping in thier supermarkets where human flesh is readily available.

But, here are a few that I chose to share:

      http://www.vanderbilt.edu/exploration/news/news_cannibalism.htm

      http://www.the7thfire.com/new_world_order/Freemasonry/satanic_ritual_abuse.htm

      http://www.cannibalworld.com/The_Latest_Cannibal_News.html

I know you know me better than to think that I would actually say something about a subject that has not been researched…

If you would give me a decent link on the story that you want to draw attention to, I’d be happy to look into it. But for now, I bid you farewell.

      Good-Night, Yo Yo…

Pearl (#19), my guess is that the FBI made its declaration to Beth on the basis of what its agents had been told. (And, of course, it is a plausible inference that a missing person is dead … plausible, but perhaps not true.)

Now, who supplied the FBI with its information?

      You got it … Aruba.

We know that from early on, the FBI agents were frustrated and outraged with the way they were brought in by Aruba (Nelson Oduber initially opposed asking the FBI to help, saying that the case would be solved in a week … uh-huh).

It seems clear to me that the FBI was to be used only as window-dressing, to reassure the American public that, yes, Aruba WAS looking after the interests of its tourists and that “everything possible was being done.”

It also, more subtly, implied that solving the case was so difficult that NOT EVEN the FBI, the world’s top law-enforcement people, could do it.
And where the FBI failed, who could blame the Arubans for likewise failing?

But as we now know, the FBI was never used. Its people simply gave up at being window-dressing.

So my point: why should we think that Aruba was at all forthcoming with the FBI? Do we even know, FOR A FACT, that Joran did make the dramatic confession in jail that some say?

I think the Aruban plan was to steer the FBI into believing that Natalee was dead. That conveniently makes it unnecessary to look at alternatives … something that a REAL investigation would do, rather than jump to conclusions.

      We’ll find out, maybe.
