Geraldo Rivera seems to be doing some back peddling on his original story that Natalee Holloway overdosed on cocaine. Funny how one changes their point of view when they are confronted with facts and the obvious, the police investigation. Also the fact that a date rape drug overdose would make sense as to why one would hide a body, not cocaine. Its also comical how Geraldo backs down from smearing Natalee Holloway especially when confronted with her dad, Dave Holloway.
Geraldo: Let’s bring in her dad, Dave Holloway who’s on the phone from Mississippi. Dave believes that if drugs were involved, it wasn’t cocaine and Natalee didn’t take it voluntarily.
Welcome, first of all I want to apologize if our reporting or O’Reilly’s has caused you any pain or suffering but tell me, if drugs were involved, I suspect that you believe that it was the date rape drug, is that right?
Dave Holloway then points out the obvious which Scared Monkeys actually put forth as well when we first heard the ridiculous interview from Bill O’Reilly this past week.
Why would anyone make an accidental overdose into an international affair by hiding a body? Answer: They wouldn’t

Dave: That’s right, I think they got their drugs mixed up. There was a whole lot of discussion about the date rape drug, the allegation about the cocaine is just ludicrous and false. Natalee wasn’t a drug user and there’s not a shred of evidence in the police files that would suggest any drugs at all were used. Certainly this information didn’t come from the Dutch police. Even Joran’s own lawyer, Joe Tacapino categorically denied this theory.

How badly does FOX need ratings than to play this shell game? Just one more leading indicator that cable news doesn’t even regard journalistic standards as important. There is no unimpeachable source on Aruba in authority, who does BOR think he’s kidding?
Thanks for the video! I wish Geraldo would get his facts straight before spewing moronic statements. I have never heard of a report of any Mt. Brook girls reporting tingly lips. If I remember correctly is was one of Joran’s “girlfriends” from one of the pimps statements.

I totally agree, Nonesuche – its all about ratings. At least old Geraldo was on tonight and tried to do damage control. Old arrogant Bill O’Reilly is no where to be seen. Its not the first time Bill O has inserted his foot in his mouth recentely. I saw him state that the Davis lady who was murdered(alledgly) by her boy friend, Bobby Cutts, deserved what she got as she knew he was violent and stayed with him. I almost had cardiac arrest after watching him say that. The next night, just at the end of his show, he made some statement about being musunderstood and then he laughed. A murder is NO laughing matter. I get the majority of my news from local on line sites as cable news can no longer be trusted. Bill O ESPECIALLY cannot be trusted. I hope Mr Holloway backs Bill O into a corner next.
I can’t image how Dave feels after O’rielly’s fiasco and then again with Geraldo. Listen to his voice. He is one cool, calm, southern gentleman. I don’t know if I could keep my composure under those conditions and I hope to God I am never faced with the same situation..
Watching Natalee’s video I got such a chill in realizing that she probably is no longer with us and only gives me more desire to keep her name alive, find out where she is and preach the dangers of that Unsafe, Unholy Island.
As I said many times before; I hope Aruba disappears and exists only as a memory in A Beach Boys’ Song.

21. Much has been said that she overdosed and the boys were simply with her and their crime was in not reporting the death and in disposing of the body. Well, without professional medical help involved, why would they be so certain that she was dead.

Joe Tropicofcancer can represent any Aruban or Dutch citizen in the country where he obtained his license, he cannot go to an Aruban court to defend or be legal counsel in a criminal case on Aruba. He has to pass the Aruban bar examine. So why hang around Joe: What are you like Darth Vader; you could have done more good if you had chosen the side of THE FORCE behind Natalee.

It would seem a lot of the sentencing is subjective by the presiding judge.
Life for murder at the discretion of the judge.

To me what I can make of it is: If the prosecutor makes a better case then the defense and can prove a crime was committed; the term of the sentencing is left to the judge.
Much like the rapes in Amsterdam where the defendents were given months in lieu of years.
DAVE is an amazing man and i admire him so much, this man deserves answers and the whole truth about what happened to his little girl.

Since Bill O stated that Natalee was a drug user, can he be sued? It would not be the first time. He has settled one law suit that I know of, out of court, for 2 million. I’m angry that he might possibly get away with this slander of this young lady. Then again; just the fact that we are discussing it here may make a difference.

Richard, I hope that all Natalee’s friends will unite together to advocate for NATLAEE’S LAW, as suggested by DEETCH, a man with more courage and integrity, with a passion for Natalee’s justice, than the entire ALE in ARUBA. This is not to discredit any good polis in Aruba who may support Natalee’s right to justice, but simply to raise awareness of the good ONE PERSON CAN DO, with something as simple as integrity in their back pocket.
Deetch proposed the idea of NATALEE’S LAW, and in the previous thread, there are some suggestions offered on how such legislation might get off the ground and flying high over all the states throughout America.
If our international friends feel passionately about the human rights of a child as something that is DESERVING of protection, and the right for NATALEE to COME HOME TO HER FAMILY, TO HAVING HER TRUTH TOLD AND HER JUSTICE HONORED, then perhaps they too would consider joining us in instituting such a proposal for legislation in their own countries, in the name of Natalee: NATALEE’S LAW.
Natalee Holloway’s human rights were violated.

Richard, my hope is that perhaps we should allow Natalee’s friends and family members to take the lead on this as it would have great power coming from them, and my hope is that they do read here. Out of respect for Natalee, and for her family, I think we should defer to them, concerning this idea that came from a beloved friend to Natalee, who has never left her side – DEETCH.

The only out Aruba might have is to say JK2′s took Natalee out on a boat because she asked them to take her. While they were drinking and “partying”; Natalee fell overboard. In the dark they could not find her and presumed she drowned.
Actually that is all they had to say initially and this case would have been closed two years ago.
That could now be construed as murder since it was not reported immediately to the authorities and now leaves doubts about the circumstances.
Murder w/o premeditation is 15 years.

Natalee Holloway’s murder was a cover up by Aruba. Death by drug overdose is not covered up. I still believe the land fill character “Junior,” He told the police that she had mud (dried blood) in her hair. This is backed up by dutch boy when he said she “slipped and fell.”
Pearl, maybe someday we’ll see our government take action to protect Americans abroad. Right now, it seems, the only thing we hear from them about Natalee’s case is silence.

And yet Washington’s silence is not to be broken.
Regarding this action by Fox … as I said on a previous thread, their talk is cheap. But the people on the TV networks don’t really care, as we do, about Natalee or what happened. Nor do they think about the implications for other Americans abroad.
To them it’s just a story. They’re being slapped down now, and rightly so.
Pearl, also, in re the idea about “Natalee’s law,” I think we have to keep a close eye on what happens once Tim Miller and the Texas Equusearch people begin the water search.
IF Natalee’s body is indeed in the water, as some believe, then I hope that it is found. The repercussions from that will be explosive, and the media that have fallen for all the Aruban spin and lies will rush to redeem themselves.
Speaking in news terms, the story will be “hot” again. That’s language that I despise, because the issue IS an important one and SHOULD be a matter of concern even when there is nothing new to report.
But the public is forgetful. It also desires justice, however, and the discovery of Natalee’s body and a media review of all the lies that we have gotten from Aruba … all the evasions, all the inaction, all the hostility … will spark a firestorm of anger.
At that point, perhaps even our elected representatives will decide that it’s politically astute to be seen demanding action by Aruba. They’ve tried to avoid doing this so far, except for those genuinely concerned few who supported the boycott, but if Natalee’s body is found you’ll be seeing them coming out of the woodwork to sound off. (Pity they haven’t done it yet.)
And at that point, this and similar proposals might have their best chance. The pressure on Congress to DO something will be extreme.
Of course, this all depends on finding Natalee’s body.
If this doesn’t happen, then what? Will Aruba say that since no more land searches are planned and no more water searches are planned, there’s no point in anything else?
And will some people be more inclined to think that perhaps she was indeed taken off Aruba?
We’ll see what happens….

It appears that Bill O’Reilly and Fox News is taking a page from the WWE play book concerning Bill’s latest act, his pronunciation of THE ANSWER TO BETH”S QUESTION. There was no news, no event, no communication, or no discovery to report, so Bill contrived this act in order to create a demand for his show, and for the entire FOX News Organization. This story has been a staged event since the very beginning. Has Bill begun to take steroids, recreational drugs, or drink, to excess? Have his ratings became so pitiful that he is forced to invent the news? Was he offered a sum of money so large by the Aruban Public Relations people that he couldn’t resist? Is aging robbing him of proper professional ethics? Did he slip and let his true colors shine? Only he and Fox News know. It is sad though, because just as the little boy who called wolf falsely found out, he now has no credibility. Indeed, the entire Fox News organization has lost credibility and left the news market and entered the entertainment market. They have become the “Redneck National Enquirer.” Surprised, no, remember, Bill is the newsman who upon the authorities discovering the 15 year old boy Shaun, who was kidnapped and molested for approximately 3 years, and reuniting him with his family, pronounced that Shaun enjoyed it. Now he is trying to say that Natalee enjoyed it and deserved her fate. I think he has earned his Redneck Label. Why would anyone want this man invited into their home, opining. Frankly, why would anyone care about anything he has to say. His dialogue makes “Nappy Headed Ho’s” a compliment.

IMHO Geraldo vindicated himself by apologizing to Dave, now Bill O must do the same. The people who watch BO nightly need to have Dave’s opinion so they get the fair and balanced story. Most people don’t follow the case as closely as we Monkeys and will tend to believe the latest news report. In talking with others about Natalee what bothers me most is when someone will say, “Oh, she was drunk.” or “She left with strangers.” All I can say is so, does that mean she should be murdered? All of us know she didn’t think of Joran as a stranger since he was “in the background” at the hotel and casino and passed himself off to be a tourist from Holland.
Natalee was last seen in the company of Frankenstein, Quasimoto and the Village Idiot. That is not disputed. What does that tell you?

1)Legislation for Jessica’s Law. I know of no other broadcast than The O’Reilly Factor that pushes for the passing of Jessica’s Law throughout the country. Time after time on this board, I read from all the concerned Monkeys that are oh-so for child protection, and dump on the very guy that’s making it happen. Go tell Jessica Lunsford’s dad that Bill O’Reilly sucks.
2)A Green Beret was assigned to win the hearts and minds of Iraqi tribesmen and unwittingly ate goat meat infected with mad cow disease. As the disease progressed, the Green Beret became insubordinate, missed duties, was demoted and eventually became bedridden at his parents expense. That’s right, Bill O’Reilly came to their rescue. He broadcast that story and embarrassed the army into paying the Green Beret’s medical expenses and also deservedly re-instating his rank. Tell this Green Beret’s parents how much Bill O’Reilly sucks.
3)The 9/11 Families. Remember them? Bill O’Reilly did. When The United Way and The Red Cross, two of America’s favorite do-gooder organizations refused to pay the 9/11 families the donations given to them by the public for that expressed purpose, O’Reilly through his broadcast exposed and embarrassed The United Way and The Red Cross into releasing those donations. Go tell the 9/11 families that Bill O’Reilly sucks.
4)The exposure of lenient judges that give child RAPISTS 30 days in jail. Tell me, would you prefer not to know? CNN and MSNBC think so. That’s why you don’t hear about these judges and their incompetence on CNN and MSNBC. Not only does Bill O’Reilly expose these judges’ incompetence for us, he goes after them to show us their indifference. Ask those judges and I think, yeah, they would probably say that Bill O’Reilly sucks.
5)Exposure of the porous border blunder and what the government IS NOT doing about it. Unlike CNN and MSNBC, O’Reilly covers the situation almost nightly. Oh I’m sorry, you’d prefer not to know? Well others, it just so happens would, and consider it a national security issue.
But let’s be honest. Most of you bashing Bill O’Reilly and The O’Reilly Factor don’t watch the program. Period. I would suggest to all, that instead of watching YouTube after YouTube of O’Reilly Factor segments, that you take the time to watch the actual program itself. Asking too much, right?
It amazes me how you collectively heard Bill O’Reilly during that segment with Geraldo say “Natalee Holloway is a crack whore”. When in reality O’Reilly said that the information was from a ‘top law enforcement official’ and that the story was ‘unconfirmed’. Get it? Not proved. And O’Reilly was emphatic about that. And I think he said it in English too, if I’m not mistaken.
The fact of the matter is, you should all be thanking Bill O’Reilly. O’Reilly brought the Natalee Holloway story back to the surface, where it needs to be. Seems to me he has done us a service, the same way he helped those folks I mentioned. And it wouldn’t surprise me to find that that was his strategy all along.

Nothing pisses me off like attacking a VICTIM. And when that VICTIM is Natalee Holloway I GET REAL PISSED OFF.
The Aruban Authorities and the ALE launched an attack on Natalee and her family all over again. As you saw with the videos provided by Carpe Noctem, Dave Holloway is defending his daughter all over again. Well Dave is not alone and will NEVER be alone. Not one Aruban to say these accusations are false. NOT ONE! This is exactly what I expect from the soul-less. Aruba you are ALONE! You sink in a sea of brine.
As I have said so many times, Aruba is a CABAL. A CRIMINAL ELEMENT. A LAND OF EUNUCHS. A BAND OF BROTHERS WRAPPED IN THE CRIMES OF THEIR FATHERS AND SONS. Their words mean SHIT to me and everyone else who knows who committed the crimes against Natalee Holloway.
Not one shred of evidence Natalee did cocaine on her ill fated trip to Satan’s Island. ZERO!!! Yet the Aruban Oligarchy rolls with these rumors as if they are facts. The same Aruban Authorities that hide behind the lead walls of the Dutch Legal System. The Aruban Prosecutor’s office hides statements and declarations. The Polis tear up statements and declarations they don’t see fit for American consumption. Hypocrites and brain dead hardly describe the Arubans and the DUTCH. Justice according to them is only for the Dutch. Forget it if your skin is one shade past Beverly Hills tan.
All so Joran Van Der Sloot can continue his education. Maybe someone, namely his parents, should have taken a higher interest in his education when he was smashing car windows, stealing money, drugging other girls, doing it 20 other times, gambling under age in casinos with his father, drinking a case of beer to get drunk, sleeping with a 13 year old, killing his dog and killing his friend’s dog and blaming him for it. All before the age of 18. Someone clue me into what this scholar is actually studying? Most likely LAW so he can be a failure like his father.
No one gives a crap about the Kalpoe Brothers. Not one person cares one iota about them. And if they were not eternally linked to Joran Van Der Sloot this case would already be over. We all know the Sloots tried to pin it ALL on them with their diabolical clique. What about Doctor Satish? Doesn’t his education matter to anyone? After six years of 12th grade, he will graduate at some point and who will pay for his medical school? And what about Internet Wizard Deepak? He was gonna write the code for the new internet. Certainly these two scholars need to be re-integrated. Their worldly contributions will certainly be missed as they are relegated to the ash heap that is created wherever Joran Van Der Sloot roams.
Character assassination only works when one has character. Joran Van Der sloot has no character. Protecting this animal and his family takes more energy than Con-Edison produces in a year.
We all know Natalee’s record. One Joran Van Der Sloot could never ever match and that’s exactly why he needs a PR Machine with the likes of a high priced New York Attorney named Joseph Tacopina, a slime ball former Court TV founder named Steve Cohen, and bunch of in the shadows schlock artists from Los Angeles. Let’s not forget the two Glory Hole workers with a foundation based on Leibensborn either.
They’ll all take the money, but no one wants to touch this disease. No one wants to breathe the air filled with bubonic plague. Tick bites rat, rat enters home, you know the rest.
In order to allow their scheme proceed, you need simple minded folks who will believe anything. And in this case it takes you beyond the believable.
Good Luck selling this one. No one buys it Aruba. You look even more desperate. Your days are numbered as the American Authorities close in. The same FBI, CIA and DEA you tried to shut out. Im going to watch Bill Monday ,i want to see if he says anything about the story he did.I have a feeling he will give a smug reply,dont get me wrong i like watching Bill but he does not put a lot of thought in to some of his comments.
O’R was irresponsible in his partial reporting. His blurb was nothing but a sound bite that suggested that Natalee Holloway ODed on cocaine on her graduation trip to Aruba AS IF it was all her own doing. And he left it like it was a secret being kept and reported it like gossip!
You’ve got to figure to anyone watching and hearing about Natalee for the first time they would hear her name and assoicate only that she ODed on cocaine AS IF there was nothing else to this case. And those unfamiliar listeners are going to go, AW, another wild teen doing drugs.
I don’t think O’R meant any harm, but this case is very complex and if someone wants to report on it they need to allow time to give a few details so things are put into proper perspective.
All O’R needed to do was add that his source did not say if a body had been found to validate that this was the cause of death or if any evidence has come up to indicate if she was drugged by others or took the drugs herself.
Personally, I think someone called him and he got all excited thinking he had some scoop no one else had because he has not been keeping up with this case. And I think whoever that was who called him wanted Natalee’s name smeared.
I pray Karma gets them and they get smeared instead. God don’t like ugly!
I want to say how proud it makes me to know there are people in the world like ‘you monkeys’.

I can’t speak for anyone here, but I can explain to you why his commentary was particularly upsetting to me.

Lorraine, not only did Natalee never come home to her family, but even now, HER TRUTH continues to be held HOSTAGE, along WITH her BODY, by unconscienable men who thought nothing of lying to her parents, to polis, to the FBI, and to the world concerning THEIR INVOLVEMENT in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and all the human rights violations inflicted upon her.
What is Natalee’s truth? Is it the “spin” coming from the mouths of twisted individuals whose intent is to obstruct Natalee’s truth from ever being spoken?
Is it the same individuals who sought to mislead the press, who lied to news journalists, or those who thought nothing of spreading the most vile rumours about this already victimized child, in their attempts to discredit her to soften the barbaric indisiousness of WHAT WAS DONE TO HER – so they could protect THEIR INTEREST in their next sack of US DOLLARS coming their way?

( which conveniently then, was PERMITTED to be changed OVER AND OVER AGAIN.) Nevertheless, in spite of Janssen and Van der Straaten KNOWING that Natalee was never even dropped off, there stood Straaten before the media, telling them: “She could have come thru another way.”
There are so many lie-statements surrounding THAT drop off lie, it is a disgrace that ALL the LIE statements surrounding just that ONE drop off point do not even exist, no less all the other lie statements that were subsequent to that one!
But there was Straaten, telling the world that “she could have come thru another way”…when, he KNEW that not only was THAT impossible, but that he had EVIDENCE TO PROVE SHE WAS NEVER EVEN DROPPED OFF AT THE HOTEL, AT ALL, and that he had WITNESSES who could substantiate this and discredit these contemptuous DROP OFF LIES all in one single blow!
When Mr. O’Reilly told the world, the other day (using his disclaimer of “unconfirmed” sources) that “Natalee Holloway died of CARDIAC ARREST, brought on by an overdose of cocaine” … how do you suppose her father felt about that ( knowing that HEAVY BATTERY CHARGES WERE LEVELED AT GUIDO WEVER concerning his precious baby?)
When Mr. O’Reilly told the world, that “according to top LE officials Natalee INGESTED THE COCAINE WITH JORAN” – …
honestly, Lorraine, how do you suppose her mother felt, KNOWING that JORAN had told the family that she was “falling asleep” and that she was drifiting in and out of consciousness – while also stating the sexual assaults he inflicted upon her during this time, only for the family to then learn …that Joran was telling his schoolmates that “she HIT HER HEAD ON A ROCK AND DROWNED”?
When the family heard their beautiful, responsible daughter described as “ingesting cocaine WITH JORAN”, do you not believe their experience of that was that “WITH” communicated the suggestion of this being ” a choice”, despite repeated statements by Beth and Dave that Natalee would NEVER GO OFF WITH 3 STRANGE MEN, no less for these monsters to now assault her in death with “drug user” slander!!! NEVER!
I realize Mr. O’R prefaced his statement as having been made by “top LE officials”, however, one must also ask:
Does Mr. O’Reilly have a DUTY to PURSUE the TRUTH and to represent it in the reporting of “information” that he presents to the viewing public? Would having a counter-opinion to represent the CHILD WHO HAS NO VOICE, NO JUSTICE, NO PLACE TO REST HER HEAD – not seem at the very least, a fair, respectable balance to offer when reporting “unconfirmed reports”?
Where should Beth and Dave and their family put their pain and angish with the booming voices in their head of student witnesses who could SEE – that Natalee did NOT APPEAR RIGHT as she exited C and C amidst Mr. O’R's statement of “ingested cocaine WITH”?
Where should they put the re-playing of agonizing moments that reveal the predators arrived close to 20 minutes before closing time, amidst facts of rape drugs that render their victims helpless, with affects hitting the victim within 15 to 20 minutes of the drug being slipped into their drink – while…Mr. O’R. regurgiates DOMPIG SPIN: “she died of a drug overdose / and or a combination of alcohol and drugs”? Where should this family put Satish’s word: “We got bored, and we all decided to go to THE HOUSE” …- the HOUSE, that neither POLIS, PROSECUTORS, NOR JUDGES WOULD ALLOW TO BE SEARCHED FOR THE HANDPRINTS OF NATALEE HOLLOWAY’S TORMENT AND SUFFERING!
And when accounts of her friends are absent these “unsubstantiated” reports being offered, accounts that point to friends noticing something did not seem right about HER EYES….does her mother’s heart not crumble, as she replays in her mind, her precious baby being STOLEN AWAY BY MONSTERS, to the “illusion” of “getting into the car WITH” these devils?
HER TRUTH! It is right there! Yet no one speaks it!
Can you not understand why hearing your child being portrayed as a drug user, when the truth is – she was victimized in ways we dare not even speak of … and after hearing her denegrated by the men who walk about freely after violating all her human rights and extracting the ultimate right to LIVE from her, – can you not understand how her father, her mother, her family and friends who KNOW HER TRUTH, and who know what contempt for justice is at work to OBLITERATE her truth, can you not understand how holding onto her truth is the ONE remaining connection they have to Natalee?
Her body has been stolen from them.
They can’t even bury her.
They are left with lies, corruption and the most vile denegration of Natalee while the monstrous individuals who purpetrated these hideous violations upon Natalee and her family, continue to enjoy all privileges and freedoms that were stripped from Natalee by some diabolical decisions made by the hideous that roam Aruba’s beaches, that determined HER LIFE wasn’t worth anything – and so, they took steps to ERASE HER.
Now, they intend to erase her truth.
I respect your great admiration for Mr. O’Reilly.
But if you want the truth of what I feel inside my heart, there are so many reasons why I was so deeply disappointed in Mr. O’Reilly. IF he is the man you say, then I’m sure he can handle the critique that challenges him to be an advocate for this child’s truth!
I’m not outraged that he ‘reported through an unconfirmed source’ that ….(Aruba-spin), because – he could have used that as an opportunity to then present another opinion, another perspective – and he didn’t.
Think of someone you loved in your life who you’ve lost.
Were you able to attend a funeral, a rememberance dedicated to them?
This family can’t even do that! The hideousness of the cruelty inflicted upon Natalee’s family includes ( as so poignantly noted by, I believe – Maggie)…reports of Natalee being killed by Joran and his pals, which was then retracted, reports of “leading polis to the body” that were retracted, reports of a confession – which was also retracted, …so much MISSING through so many REPORTS, …so much taken away, including their precious child’s body.
Natalee’s truth has become the one last handprint that she left in Aruba.
They seek to erase even that.
Her mother needs to hold the handprint of her baby’s suffering and embrace her one last time.
But the wretchedness of evil men are insuring that neither Natalee’s mother, nor her father will EVER HOLD their baby’s truth – again.
When Bill O’ comes on the air to speak of a child so brutally victimized as Natalee, and a family so traumatized as her family, he needs to understand that he walking on the sacred ground of a human being’s life, a CHILD’S LIFE, and that this family – has nothing left as all has been stripped from their hearts, and all that remains is HER TRUTH.
It is a precious thing to them, and rightfully so, it commands the deepest respect from those journalists who would portray themselves as seekers of her truth!
No one wants to bash Mr. O’R, but all his good deeds that you see towards others, does not replace the piercing suffering that Natalee’s mother and father continue to bear, each time another journalist doesn’t take the time TO LOOK, TO SEE, TO LISTEN, TO HEAR… this child’s cries beneath the handprint of all that she suffered while the monstrous predators who tormented her, brutalized her, and ultimately murdered her, wake up each day to another fresh start, another new day of unlimited freedoms and privileges, while in Alabama, there is neither a headstone, nor any way to remember Natalee Holloway because after murderering her, they stole what remained – HER BODY, from her grieving family, to insure that all the criminals would never be inconvenienced by prison time.
The callousness, and heartlessness is absolutely unbelievable!
My hope is that Mr. O’R. will take a long hard look at why he sits in that chair and simply ask himself how he can be an instrument of something life-giving for this suffering family.
