They hope that the American people will give Aruba a pass that an obvious and easy investigation was torpedoed from the outset. at the Boston Globe Travel Show. As with the boycott of Aruba, it is a personal choice done by individuals, not a concerted effort by large organizations or states. The power of the people and your right to decide where one wishes to spend their hard earned money on a vacation is a personal choice. The fact that many Americans chose not to go to Aruba anymore is a direct result of the inaction and unwillingness to solve and prosecute the case of Natalee’s disappearance.
A group of individuals will be going to Boston this weekend. A long time poster at Scared Monkeys, Richard, has provided us with the letter below. Join Richard and others in Boston and help provide, “Justice for Natalee”. Stand up for Natalee.
My name is Richard, and I’ve been posting here about the Natalee Holloway case for some time. Now I’m organizing a protest. You may know that the Boston Globe Travel Show is being held on March 23-25, and Aruba Tourism Authority is a major sponsor.Boston and New England are big tourist markets for Aruba. The ATA comes here even as Aruba does nothing on Natalee’s case. The Holloway Twittys continue to fight a foreign government (or two) with no help from Washington. No help from the travel industry, the gaming industry, or the hotel industry, all of which have financial interests in the Aruban economy.Who will help the family? “We the people.” Some of us will be at Boston, reminding people about the case and urging them not to go to Aruba. ”No justice for Natalee? No tourists for Aruba.”
Here’s what we won’t do:
- Anything violent or illegal. We want to persuade people, not force them.
- Debate theories about what happened. We won’t give answers, we’ll seek them.
- Confront Arubans. We don’t want to argue with Arubans, but to persuade Americans.
- Speak for the Holloway Twitty family. We do not represent them or receive support from them, and they did not ask us to do this. We are doing this to fight an injustice.
Here’s what we will do:
- Wear T-shirts with Natalee’s picture. This is the single most powerful visual element we can use to state our case.
- Have handouts with timelines of the case, Aruba’s lies and evasions, steps and mis-steps, and various other details.
- We will refer to this and other blogs as reference material.

Go Monkeys, I wish could be there. I don’t post much, but I never have forgotten Natalie and visit here daily in hopes of updates. My prayers and thoughts will be with you all. As they have always been with Beth and her beautiful Natalie.

Using this map I was able to locate the Van Der Sloot’s property. It is amazing close to St. Ana Church Cemetery, the Polis station at Noord and the Bank of Aruba ATM. It would have taken maybe 10 minutes at most to take Natalee from Joran’s Apartment to a crypt in the Cemetery. It would have been no problem for Paulus to receive a call from Joran and stop off at the ATM on the way home.
There are no co-ordinates; you really have to try it though.

This event is underwritten by the Aruban Tourism Authority, the crime committed against Natalee Holloway is taking a deep toll on their economy. Yet they come here looking like beggers trying to save the sinking ship and hoping most Americans will forget about the rape and murder committed by the VanDerSloots.

It has been almost two years of lies and false hope. Natalee’s Parents have done everything they can to seek answer’s in this foreign land but to no avail. They have been patient even when they were bashed and threatened for questioning this bogus investigation.
The prime suspect’s father is close friend’s with many who are directly involved in this case.(Judges,Law Enforcement & Govt Officials)The Aruban Govt decided to cover this up and to let the criminals go free. I am sure its not the first time they have done this. That was a big mistake on their part. They underestimated Natalees family and those that care.
The time has run out and it is apparent Aruba plans to do nothing. Except bribe our Politicians,Drug Traffic and Lie about what happened to Natalee Holloway.

Yes, let me have anything you have. What I’m interested in is something real-time, satellite (and free if possible). I want to check the boat traffic out at the restaurant, especially on the weekends, and especially on Sunday nights. (i.e. what comes in, what goes out, size of craft etc.)? I’m particularly interested to see if there are any boats at 1:00 am, and how many, size, etc. (is there any late night activities at the restaurant-after normal closing time.)
You can’t tell me that there are not pictures of every second in time for Aruba. It is a high priority area, with the “Real Satan ” in Venezuela , Cuba close by and our priorities in Guantánamo Bay, not to mention all the “special” guest they are housing there.

I’m going to make a prediction based on how sleazeball Aruba’s government and ALE are: when May 30 rolls around they’re going to claim that there’s no evidence of a murder (conveniently), no evidence of kidnapping (that was ‘on the back burner’ this whole time), so…she must’ve run away.
Only problem is Natalee couldn’t have left the island because she left her passport behind (as Karin Janssen claimed ad nauseum), the FBI stated Natalee did not fit the profile of a runaway, Natalee was 18 when she disappearaed and did not need to ‘run away’, being an emancipated adult, and nobody runs away from a foriegn country to (presumably) a foriegn country! But Aruba has always thought Americans to be stupid, willing to swallow whatever is cast in front of them. So they’ll make this claim, say it’s not their concern, release all the susepcts, and pursue the European tourism market.
We cannot forget about not only Natalee, but about how arrogant Aruba is to think they can tell us anything, prove nothing, and expect to insult us by not taking care of our own and still expect our visits. If we do, there will be another Natalee. Getting away with a crime does not discourage criminals…not the criminals still roaming Aruba’s streets or the ones in Aruba’s Parliament.
The easiest way that everyday Joes and Janes in the U.S. (or anywhere in the world) can help find justice for Natalee and answers for her family is not only stay away from Aruba, but encourage others to do the same. And make sure that Joe and Jane Aruba knows that their government is at fault. They never did all they could or should; they chose to protect a handful of sociopaths and their dark secrets over our tourist dollars.
Go get ‘em Richard. Wish I could be there.

It is with much sadness that this letter comes to you. Almost 4 years ago, my husband and I had the pleasure of honeymooning on the beautiful island of Aruba.
Here we are now, almost 2 years after the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, as American citizens and business owners looking on in total disbelief! It is 100% obvious that the Aruban/Netherlands government and law enforcement agencies have inappropriately handled this case.
For a place that relies so heavily upon our tourism dollars to support their local economy, (with a large majority of that revenue being provided here specifically in the Northeast states)…doesn’t it affect your conscience in any way to be here this upcoming weekend trolling for more money after what has taken place? How dare you come here after such a tragedy has transpired?
True, we also have corruption here in the US and a justice system that fails us sometimes. We also have our dignity and pride. We strongly felt compelled to take this opportunity to point out that there are 4 people on that Island who know EXACTLY how Ms. Holloway met her demise. We believe it was an accident, but what happened afterwards has been totally unacceptable. That Paulus Van Der Sloot would assist his own son Joran (and the 2 Kalpoe brothers) in covering up a non-consensual sexual act …then assist them in getting rid of her remains when she died wasn’t good enough. Each of these individuals have lied to law enforcement officials everywhere, and made a mockery of themselves in the media. Let’s remember also all the pain brought to the families & friends of the Holloway/Twitty’s. Their lives shall certainly never be the same.
No amount of advertising and marketing dollars that your country spends will ever allow us as Americans to forget or forgive until justice is finally served.

The Boston Globe is hosting this event ~ I’m curious, how the ATA was convinced to partner with Aruba Tourism. How much money is being spent on their tourism campaign?
Why that money, hasn’t been put towards this investigation is another question I have. That makes more sense to me, rather than them putting thier money on marketing ~ wouldn’t it be better spent in hiring private investigators, or what have you, to solve this case??. ~ or better yet, hit up the Businesses Community to offer reward money in solving this case, in addition to what Beth Twitty is offering.

I understand many of you are from diffrent states and cannot make it to boston. I am lucky as I am only a state away..So I can make it.:) We appreciate all the support!!
Sadly It doesnt appear that Aruba will ever press charges or ever do a honest Investigation. It already has been almost two years now and it apprears to be over!!
I think its time to follow Richard’s great effort. I beleave its all worth it if Natalee is returned home and some justice is served. This family deserves closure!!Maybee it will become a Happy Island again and people can stand up when crimes are committed.
If we can tell Natalee’s story to these travel agencies and future travelers I beleave we can make a impact. Boston and NYC is a great place to start. Thousands of them fly every month to Aruba!! That is what you can do to help get justice for Natlee!! Just takes a little bit of effort and some organization.
If you want some motivation just think back to when Dave was digging in the landfill in 100 degree heat. Think back to the pictures of Beth after they told her Natalee was deceased. No ship at the ports

Folks, it’s overwhelming to read all the supportive comments here. All I can say is, and I’m sure I speak for all the people who will show up: Thanks a lot.
Remember, though, we’re minor characters at best. Think of what the Holloway Twitty family has been going through for nearly two years, confronting the liars in Aruba day after day, getting so many contradictory stories, getting broken promise after broken promise, and having the aching pain of the uncertainty and the anguish from day one, hour one ….
If I think too much about that, I’m afraid that I couldn’t contain myself at the thought of an Aruban delegation smiling at “travel professionals” and telling passersby: “Come to Aruba. We’re one happy island.”
Let’s hope this can build into something nationwide. No matter where the ATA slimeballs may head, they will be confronted with the demand: “No justice for Natalee … no tourists for Aruba.”

On your question whether I heard Natalee say in the car that her mother was Hitler’s sister, that they owned a plantation and that they had black people as employees. I had only heard the word Hitler. The rest I did not hear. Joran told me later all the things the girl had said.

Here is a copy of my letter going to booth 610. But then I thought about it. Why not send a copy to the other booths and let them know that we know and do not accept Aruba’s cover up.
It is not too hard to figure out what happened to Natalee Holloway on her last night on Aruba which ironically was probably her last night on earth. We know she was probably drugged at Carlos and Charlie’s. She was escorted by Joran to the back parking lot and got into what she thought was a cab which was Deepak’s car. She never was returned to the Holiday Inn. While in the back seat of Deepak’s “cab”, she was administered starting fluid. This rendered her unconscious for short periods of time. She was taken to Joran’s apartment where she was sexually attacked by various acquaintences of Joran: Namely; Geoffrey, Koen, Freddie, Michael Dompig and possibly female friends of Joran including Guido. Natalee was chosen out of revenge for refusing advances by Geoffery and Joran on previous encounters. (Saying “Natalee wanted to see the sharks” implies pimp jargon which is “Shark Fest” for gangbang.)
Coming in and out of consciousness, she probably fell and hit her head. They could not call for emergency assistance since there was too much DNA evidence and wounds on her body. So instead, Joran called his father for help and he decided to let Natalee die. Van der Straaten was also called and it was decided to get rid of Natalee’s body.
They took her to a crypt at St. Ana Cemetery, which is less than 10 minutes away from the Van der Sloot compound. Later she was cremated.
Croes and Oduber along with Van Der Straaten decided that to protect Joran and other influential off springs, a massive cover up and deception needed to be created.
The fact that Joran admits to doing this at least twenty times before and this is the first time anything went wrong should be sufficient proof of Joran’s involvement.
All that anyone wanted was the truth about how Natalee died and her body returned to her family in Alabama. Since you, Aruba, rushed to cover up this crime and dispose of her body there can be no closure to this insidious act. And now, because of this decision to hide behind a cloak of deception, Aruba’s tourism will suffer indefinitely. No amount of advertising will ever change the world’s opinion of Aruba and the Netherlands.
Good luck in Boston. You might want to contact a local TV station. Good chance that the stations will be looking to fill air-time on slow-news weekends. Besides the publicity, it could be interesting if the Aruba contingency is put before a microphone to answer an embarassing question or two.
Richard, you’re an angel to do this and all the good you have done so far. As so many here, I wish that I could be with you, but promise to be at the next one with bells on.

Someone give me some feed back on this. The Lighthouse Restaurant-what a perfect place for an after hours party. 1906, everything you say could have happen there, and then Natalee could have been taken back to the Sloot’s injured.
Think about it for just a minute, they said they went to the Lighthouse (usually means they didn’t, but they dropped that story). They were let in, and the party began. Not only that, but there are some places a person could really get hurt, if you go running across that terrain at night. The monkey sounds on the telephone could it be birds-i.e. tropical birds. There are some on the patio at the Lighthouse restaurant. An 8-foot wall surrounds it.
Another note. Didn’t Dave Holloway say he doesn’t know anything about a phone call? I could have sworn he said that on Dana’s show.

You know I was thinking some more about this. Aruba is spending thousands and thousands of dollars on their marketing campaign. Think about that. They would rather try to get you to come there, than spend their money on finding the truth…

I would think, that Aruba would be spending all of it’s resources, whether financialy, going house to house getting answers,bringing in forensic specialists world over, calling in the FBI, Scotland Yard, whomever they needed to if they had to solve this case… do what ever it would take, to find Natalee ~ partner and work with Natalee’s Mom and family,to have this resolved.

Richard, what you are doing is awesome, thank you! I wish I could be there to protest also. Today is my birthday and if I were able to, I would spend it protesting those slimy bastards that took Natalee’s life and the island that backed them and looked the other way.
I agree with some of the other posts. If you were able to have a huge sign with the picture of Natalee’s father having to dig through the landfill himself, it would say so much. A picture is worth a thousand words, and maybe if more people were able to see a graphic representation of what this family had to endure, maybe lots less would think twice about backing or supporting that pathetic island.

This type of message creates a negative reflection of the community that could and is affecting Aruba’s image to potential tourists.

Aruba Tourism Authority has received notification that some travel agents who have said that they support and promote Aruba, but the fact that there are apparently people who are of who have said that they are from Aruba who are posting extremely negative messages. They have also expressed that they don’t want any American to come to Aruba anymore.

To avoid this, post positive messages that demonstrate that Aruba is a good and civilized country. Despite of everything, we cannot forget that more than 70% of our visitors come from America.

Thanks for posting the video links of Natalee. Its nice seeing the times when Natalee was having fun, the dancing and marching at school. The only time i ever heard her voice is when she’s riding in a car and telling someone they look and must feel like a million bucks. Jerry: I could accept the lighthouse as a degress point iffn I held to Richard’s belief that Natalee may have been sold into sex slavery or something along those lines…. I admit, some of his theories seem to match up well with what I believe to be true…. Brothers Seek to Dismiss Lawsuit in Holloway Case

Meridian Star – Dave Holloway said the two brothers who were former suspects in the disappearance of his daughter, Natalee, in Aruba are now attempting to “have their cake and eat it too.”
Deepak and Satish Kalpoe are seeking to dismiss a lawsuit brought against them by the teen’s parents because they say the case has no connection to California.
In court papers filed last week, the attorney for the Kalpoes argued the brothers are residents of Aruba and have no ties to California.
Dave Holloway, of Meridian, said it sounds like the brothers want to have everything go their way.
“They are the ones who first filed a lawsuit in California,” Holloway said Wednesday afternoon. “And now they say we can’t. Doesn’t make sense, does it.”

There was mention by a guy who was in our Armed Forces who our Government used his skills in finding people… I heard him on a late night radio talk show… (uuggh! I wished I remembered his name and his scientific skills).. he’s like a physcic ~ He apparently shared how he thought Natalee was in the ocean in a lobster type trap that you are talking about ~ your theory may go in line with this gentlemans theory… apparently, this man is renowned for his accuracy ~ and if I remember, he teaches this skill ~
