It appears that the Dutch TV program of Robert Jensen interviewing Beth Twitty was a ratings grabber. Hopefully more will be watching the replay of his show to garner interest and viewership. They will be doing a replay of the show today as well around 5:40 (Dutch Time). The more people who see it and Beth Twitty in The Netherlands, the better. The more informed all are, the better as well.

DRATS…last night I feel asleep prior to Beth being on Greta Live… Looking forward to the transcript from her Holland TV appearance…

Welcome even though you seem to be trying to be negative on this program. That is more than I thought would view the program, half a million is a huge audience. What is the entire population of the Netherlands? Quite a chunk of them in my opinion.
I have always heard that for every one that writes there are a hundred who feel that way but do not bother to write. I am equally sure there are even more who are not computer savvy who will not look up ScaredMonkeys although they support Beth.
It only takes a small number of people with their hearts in the right place to make a change in a bad situation. I hope that Aruba will know more people are watching them now and more have heard at least a tiny bit of Beth’s side of things instead of Aruba’s wild claims about her.
Did you know the Chief of Police in Aruba suggested this was all an insurance Scam perpetrated by Beth when there is no insurance policy at all? How’s that for rotten behavior? They also made that false claim about the de Vries child who also disappeared in Aruba. So you see, they have a pattern of lying about the victims in Aruba.
This needs to be exposed so that people going there will understand with what they could be dealing should they have a tragedy befall them while there. It is truly a shocking situation the manner in which Aruba treats victims of crime. And they have no laws at all against corruption so all are free to practice it at will.
Tourists have a right to know this and Beth is trying to spare others the heartbreak she has had to endure as a result of this island’s refusal to conduct even a semblance of a legitimate investigation into her daughter’s disappearance.

Nearly twice as many people watched CSI NY…and almost 4x as many people watched the news on that same night….
Dream on monkeys! Even if 450.000 people (out of 16 million!) watched the show, it DEFINITELY doesn’t mean they did so because of Beth. Face it, no one in the Netherlands cares about Beth. They might care about (or be interested in) Natalee, but not Beth! Just have a look at the forum at Jensen’s website and you can see for yourself what the Dutch think of Beth. That should tell you enough!

In Holland often it happens that the police and the prosecutor allow dangerous criminals to continue because they feel threatned by those criminals. The USA has the FBI and its special units. However, Europe has nothing like the FBI.

The second day when everyone was searching for natalee. Mr. Van der sloot instead hired lawyers for all 3 boys and a friend. When Natalees father first met the lead detective he asked the father how much money he had. Then told him to go have a beer but to watch it cause people slip drugs into drinks.
Joran had confessed and broke down in prison. They were retreaving the body and blood was found in the car. All announced and verified by fbi and media. We all saw that the story was retracted and the blood became choclate. They then accused beth of being involved,ruining the investigation and natalee running away or killed herself. No surprise Joran’s father is best friends with arubas top cop.

I’m not sure what point is trying to be made about the ratings numbers. Even in the U.S. all the news shows combined would not receive the ratings of a popular entertainment program on one of the big three. That’s just a fact of life, but the impact of the news programs can still be huge. 450,000 out of a potential 16,000,000 sounds like a very good ratio to me. The best night ever for Greta Van Sustern was during the Joran interview and I believe those numbers approached the 2,000,000 mark and that is out of a potential national viewership of over 200,000,000 and the international reach would be anyone’s guess.
Greta is a disgrace and should not allowed to report anything about this sad story. She let beth down enormously and I will never watch her show again!! Dr.Phil made a small effort but did it for the ratings. Good decision beth made by going to holland because the only way this will ever get solved is by the dutch LE.

Joran VanDerSloot’s little game of drugging, kidnapping, raping and filming it is being exposed to a wider audience and his world is getting much smaller.
Says alot when he runs back to Aruba, where he feels safe with mommy and daddy and the ALE when Beth shows up on his own turf.
It was nice to how many sympathetic Dutch logged on after the broadcast to show support for Natalee and her family. Something like this usually brings out the trolls in force right up front.
Finally a few trolls are showing up, must have been caught off guard.
Gotta wonder why anyone would post anything negative about a mom or dad who just wants to know what happened to their daughter, the love of their life.

Greta never seemed to know much about the case and her breaking stories were rehashes of events we saw time and time again. She prospered off of the ratings more than anyone and failed natalee tremendously. She allowed Joran a year later to come on tv in america and not face one question that needed to be asked. She sold out for the ratings.
This was a kid that was scared to death. Broke down in jail and admitted he was involved and buried her. Everyone knows his father told them no body no crime. But here we are.. They bash the victim,the mother,get awarded money and get to live like they are the victims. His friends all flee to other countries and he remains protected. Van der stratten, Dompig, Ben King and Mr Dirty hands Dennis Jacobs are all still involved and are right in the middle of this corruption.
It wasnt until Paulus,Jan and others stepped in and they decided the truth couldnt be revealed. He then had corrupt cops,govt,parents and friends that covered up what he and the other pimps did to natalee.. He has so much confidence now that he makes up more to the story as he tells it.
He had over a year to stick to one of his 22 stories. However with greta he still couldnt keep his story straight and contradicted himself on multiple occasions. Did greta call him on it? Or has her brain just turned to mush from being a alcoholic or something? Of all the questions that needed to be asked.. She asked none of them. Then greta says “I tend to beleave him”
To all Dutch citizens,If something like what happened to Natalee happened to your daughter,you would want Beth Twitty on your side.Now Beth needs you, pressure your goverment to find the truth.
What difference does it make about the ratings on that Dutch TV show. Beth went over there and spoke her mind. She had an audience. Whether the show is the most popular in the land or not is indifferent to the issue of her truth, which, as in our quasi-national hymn, goes marching on.

well – i hope everyone is well aware that when the republician are in office the us gov’t will not help you if you need their assistance overseas. i was in eastern europe in 90 with an very ill infant and us embassy denied me aid. i went to the canadian embassy and got a vacine and enough anti-biotics to head home. again when the democrats were in office i was over in the middle-east, got in some visa issues and the democratic gov’t rushed to my aid. sound familar beth?

Why would the ALE arrest two innocent Black men, when the Black men had proof that they were never near the Holiday Inn when Natalee was taken away by Joran van der Sloot?
Why would the ALE arrest two innocent Black men when the ALE had substantial proof ( hotel video surveillance that proved Joran, Deepak and Satish all lied and had never dropped Natalee off at the hotel)that not only were the two black men not involved at all in Natalee being led into a car by Joran and never seen again, but that it was in fact JORAN, DEEPAK and SATISH who police should be suspicious of?
Why be suspicious of Black men who clearly were innocent before they were framed to be arrested, while NOT using cause for suspicion to arrest Joran, Deepak and Satish when they lied over and over again througout the ten days that Jan Van der Straaten gave them to erase all the evidence of the torture they subjected Natalee Holloway to?

May be the best way for USA citizens to support Beth and protect themselves is to boycot Aruba, to boycot Heineken beer, to boycot Phillips and its brands LG, Whirpool, Sagem, etc. If their sales to the USA half, then they will regret. The power really is to the USA consumers, if they use their power. So start the boycot and spread the boycot by encouraging your friends and everyone to join the boycot. There was a case in Belguim, Marc Detroux, whee the police were something like the Aruban police. Ordinary people from Belgium protested. Case solved,now Marc is in jail.
SM is right. I run into people all the time who are heartbroken about Natalee’s disappearance and the treatment of Natalee’s parents. These people either don’t have computers or don’t have time to use them much. We at SM represent thousands more people than who post on here.
Make your reservations early, because when there is a memorial service for Natalee, there won’t be room to hold all her supporters. I, for one, am planning to be there.

The family does deserves answers but does ANYONE really think Aruba wants this solved. If they did they would have solved it themselves. The LAST thing they want is for HOLLAND to come in and solve it for them. Then the whole world would laugh at them for being so STUPID.
