Dave Holloway; “I’m never going to give up”. Going back to Aruba.

Dave Holloway remains as resolute and determined as ever to find his missing daughter Natalee Holloway. He continues to search for answers and leads in to the disappearance of Natalee, a search that after four months has turned up few answers. In the face of such discouraging news as ever Dave Holloway remains determined to find and bring home his daughter.

Holloway said he doesn’t see himself relenting just yet.

“I’m never going to give up,” Holloway said Tuesday.

As we have seen over the past four months and I have come to learn from meeting Dave Holloway, determination is his greatest strength.

Even though he has a professional search team and local Aruban authorities doing much of the work in the search, Holloway said his determination is his greatest ally.

“I’ve always felt that if someone was going to solve this case, it was going to be me,” Holloway said. “If I’m not going to be the one to solve this case, no one will.”

According to the Meridian Star article Dave Holloway is going to be returning to Aruba to continue the search for Natalee Holloway.

Holloway will return to Aruba, along with some heavy-duty digging equipment to excavate an Aruban landfill, on Thursday to continue his search. Holloway said he is ignoring the naysayers and is returning with a positive outlook.

Dave Holloway has maintains this positive approach to search for answers and his daughter. It is an approach that many admire and respect him for in his determination and will to keep the hope alive in finding Natalee.

“Maybe I’m just an optimist, but I am never going to just give up.”

Still, Holloway said his faith keeps him from letting go.

“Some people just have little faith and always give up. But as long as you have faith in God, he’ll only put so much on your shoulders that you can carry and when it gets too heavy, he’ll lift it a bit,” Holloway said.

Doesn’t it just PISS you off!!!!!! to know that a handful of people in that place know where Natalee Holloway is,dead or alive, and they just sit there grinnin’and-a- knowin’, while their own government spends tax payer dollars and man hours lokkin’ and lookin’! And a childs’ parents and friends search and search for bodies and clues, wasting time and money, when they could be given the answer in a heartbeat by any one of the people who know.
Here is a list of people I,personally, think are involved and know LOTS:
      joran van der sloot
      deepak kalpoe
      satish kalpoe
      paulus van der sloot
      steve(the boat guy)
      jan van der straaten
Maybe punishment(let’s just draw the names from a hat since they are all involved!) one by one until SOMEONE talks? In some third world countries, they would just shoot them one by one until somebody talked and then they would shoot the talker! I wonder if anita and paulus would be so quick to cover up for THEIR son if they knew HIS death was imminent? That’s why it is always good to remember the GOLDEN RULE.

If we go with the golden Rule and shoot them one by one, we had better line up as well. I hope there is a better way.

How come you haven’t tried to get somebody like Sylvia Browne to help find her?
Or John Edwards? a Medium…for some clues or leads.
The cops always resort to these kind of people when they have a cold case.
I’ve seen it done on TV alot. These people have a gift and should be used to help find missing people.

    10. USA on October 5th, 2005 2:03 pm

Let’s not be naive! I have been around the block a few
times, lived in the Bronx and in Beverly
Hills! I believe that the Natalee Holloway
investigation was a PLANNED COVER UP from day
ONE!! – This is also the reason why Paulus’ house was
      very intentionally not searched for
evidence right away, the cops wanted to give them time
to do away with the evidence! The cops
are not stupid there, they just played the “GAME!”
Because they were ALL protecting Paulus, the
arrests were only for show. This was proven when the
judge, a friend of Paulus released Joran,
then they both escaped thinking to be safe in Holland.
There may be HUNDREDS of negative publicity web sites
      in several languages, geared against
Aruba, they’ll be coming up like bee hives. It will
      destroy Aruba!!
The ONLY thing Aruba can do, I think – is to STOP the
the slime balls responsible for the crime they
committed on Natalee Holloway, prosecute those
who possess no mores and let the guys out of jail!

Or, it won’t be funny for Aruba when no more Americans
and Western Europeans come to the
island and when NO more cruise ship stop in Aruba !!

Should the citizens of Aruba suffer because the
governments chooses to protect a few

The people of Aruba need to put pressure on the police
and prosecution, or it won’t be funny……

      The choice is with Aruba!

This is the biggest coverup I have ever seen besides OJ. If Natalee is alive, then everyone has been wasting their time and money doing a lot of digging and diving. One true confession would put an end to all of this mess. The culprits that ‘star’ mentioned must have a lot of friends in high places, or underground, as in mafia. We will stubbornly wait for an answer, a real one.

    12. molly on October 5th, 2005 2:42 pm

My online translator gives this translation of Josiane’s post:

Like a mother, from the bottom of my heart the support goes to parents who depend on our force and oration. That God and the Virgin put their protection and put light to find to Natalee. Many people pray, of all parts of the world. and the oration is powerful, that the Lord God blesses them, Josiane Gilabert

Once again, this is what I’m talking about when it comes to proof making a statement an actual fact:

Doesn’t it just PISS you off!!!!!! to know that a handful of people in that place know where Natalee Holloway is,dead or alive, and they just sit there grinnin’and-a- knowin’, while their own government spends tax payer dollars and man hours lokkin’ and lookin’! Where is the proof Star to suggest the allegations you made in this ridiculous statement of yours? SHOW US THE PROOF that certain people in Aruba know where NH is.

I certainly hope this isn’t the way you conduct yourself in everyday life, for if it is, there’s a good possiblity that one day soon, someone may very well sue YOU for slander and defamation of character.

      Good luck with your attitude.

    14. haas on October 5th, 2005 3:48 pm

Molly,Oj was not a coverup.the police did their job and the jury let him go.Unfortunately this is something we all have to accept.Justice will not be served.

    16. Carol on October 5th, 2005 5:29 pm

“”I’ve always felt that if someone was going to solve this case, it was going to be me,” Holloway said. “If I’m not going to be the one to solve this case, no one will.”"

it’s a sad day when a parent can’t trust that goverment officials will do their job & help them until the case is solved.

the disapearance of natalee as well as the cover-up by high ranking officials will be a black-eye on the island of aruba as well as holland & it’s other territories.

    18. Maura on October 5th, 2005 7:45 pm

I feel terrible for Dave Holloway! I cannot imagine the pain he & Beth are going through.
Last night on Nancy Grace, we heard about the Aruban authorities changing Beth’s statement. Is this the sign of a coverup?????

    19. Nina on October 5th, 2005 8:14 pm

Hass your statement is not completely true. The police also planted evidence that help lead to OJ being released, could have been a cover up.

    20. NYSOM on October 5th, 2005 8:33 pm

Haas, There’s a major difference between OJ and Natalee, in Natalee’s case the police didn’t do their job. They blatantly avoided it from the beginning. I doubt they ever thought anyone would ever hear of this case, much less have the attention it’s demanded. For her family’s sake, I have to hold out hope justice will be served.

Add the 8th name on the list.Ruben Trapenberg who has changed jobs and went to the airport to work. His picture along with alot underage girls appear on the website.www.tickle.com on the same website where Deepac picture is also on it with young girls. Also the Feddy guy who was arrested for underage girls on website and vedio who lived next door to the van der sloots. The van der sloot house should be searched. There still maybe evidences left they the van der sloots may have missed while they were cleaning up because he said he carried her to his house. Also they loaded the furniture of joran on a moving van before he was released from jail and daddy van der sloot carried him right to Holland as soon as he was free. The ground around the house and joran’s needs a search awrrent and also searched with a dog.

I have a problem with the Kalpoe brothers and Joran’s parents. My son was breaking and entering and I found out by going into my basement and finding jewelry and wallets…for a time I kept quiet and confronted him, of course he denied it but where did those things come from? One day I left work early, on purpose and found 4 teenage boys in my sunroom along with their “Baptist Youth Advisor” and they all ran through the back door. I knew then what they were doing and using my house…they also ransacked a friend of mine’s home and I turned them in. I did what I thought was right and used the golden rule…that was 8 years ago…I would like to say there was a positive outcome to it, but we are still working on it. A lot of money, a lot of boot camp and a lot of paying probation, but it was wrong, it was my son and HE was wrong…and I could not look at myself in the mirror knowing what I did and condoning his actions. My son lied to me, I knew it, and Joran’s parents and Kalpoe’s parents know it too. Yes, it is hard knowing your son is in prison and not going to be a star athlete or a great politican..the crime is not the same, but it is still a crime. You have to do the right thing…it is hard but you have to help you child face up to what they did and pay the consequences, and I truly believe that Joran’s father is the key to all of this. He knows, he wants a great and wonderful son and he isn’t going to get it. He has to look at himself and say “what has happened to this poor child my son was involved with?”

To end this sermon, I wish I had a cattle prod…or get in touch with one of those “psychic detectives”…and that is wrong of ME, too..

      adios. ellie

Was it Linda in LA that said she’d had enough of this blog and won’t come back? Well, I’m joining her. I’ve seen enough ignorance in two weeks here to last me a lifetime. You can all continue to take this case too seriously, like it’s any of your business to begin with, let it run your life, talk about it 24 hours a day. You all have fun now, spewing rhetoric for the rest of your lives about this case.

I think you should all get a life and stop living someone else’s … is Natalee Holloway your daughter? Sheep … sheep … get a life.

    26. JRip on October 6th, 2005 8:46 am

Shirley, your list suggests that there is more of a possibility in trafficking of young girls as a matter of course (these guys need money to drink and gamble–who’s going to give it to them, Mom?) than murder. There’s no profit in murder and no real reason to have killed her in the first place. There is more of a “suggestion” that she is dead without actually acknowledging it on the part of these guys that seems a bit odd. Perhaps to get people to stop looking for her for other reasons?

    27. Pissman on October 6th, 2005 9:18 am

    28. SB on October 6th, 2005 10:00 am

She is our daughter, our sister… She had promise for a great future and pride for Americans. May have become the doctor who might have saved Hansons miserable life one day whining and crying because his tummy hurts.

Jim – why even post that?

    30. Pat on October 6th, 2005 12:54 pm

      Interesting comparison:
Linda left because of the angry climate of this board, and how mean people speak to each other.
Jim left because of his frustration that most people think he is wrong and in denial, angry that people want to know the truth, however ugly that may be for his island. He is frustrated that we are all taking this case too seriously! That puts me at a loss for words!

As for Joran’s future, which someone mentioned, a wise man once said:
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Proverbs 28:13

    31. no no no on October 6th, 2005 3:05 pm

Jim, Linda in LA, Amy…to name a few are just sick of everyone being rude and spitting out “alleged” facts that they know nothing about. He’s not whining. Like most of us, he is sick of people saying whatever they feel like because they can.

    32. Frank Skrzecz on October 6th, 2005 3:17 pm

Yes I agree with Pat. As I look at Joran and co. I remember these words ” There is no fear of God before there eyes” Romans 3:18

    33. Kelly S. on October 6th, 2005 3:30 pm

I agree w/Pat. I don’t believe for one minute that Joran’s life is going to filled with roses……I wonder if he really is a sociapath ….as he has been called on various cable programs.

    34. John Staton on October 6th, 2005 4:17 pm

Both Joran and Deepak as observed have been identified as probable psychopaths. They do not identify their victim as a person simply as an object. They blame the victim rather than their actions. They do not appear to fear punishment. They are proud of their actions wanting to relive the excitement and feeling of power from the rape. They will talk about it within limits in order to get this high. This is all following the psychopath profile. They cannot be rehabilitated. They will want to strike again like an addict in order to get this high again. Having murdered, the question is will they want that high the next time as well.

    35. Kass on October 6th, 2005 5:38 pm

The best thing I’ve read here is that Jim Hanson says he won’t be back. But he’ll probably just change his name and keep spouting off.

    36. Jav on October 6th, 2005 9:10 pm

First of all the world or western europe really dont care about this case…this an isolated case, this could happen anywhere even in your US and I dont really think that they will boycott aruba either. Europeans are more objective people and they will never go thru all this circus because of one person.
I hope they find this Natalee girl but you guys dont refer to her as if she some kind of saint or something like that, she got into this mess herself, she was partying and who knows what really happen. The strange thing of this case is that no one has interogate her classmates and chaperons, why they are protecting this people so much. Maybe they have the answer of where natalee really is.

    37. dennisintn on October 6th, 2005 11:01 pm

i think jvds and deepak are both sociopathic sexual predators. i think pvds is at least a sociopath. i don’t know much about satish but deepak says he’s a rapist at the very least.

i don’t know how many other people have been involved in this sordid affair but i’d sure be looking hard at the rest of the pimps and their parents. if any of them are in a position to help paulus in covering up for the boys, they’d be easily pressured into helping him.

its hard for me to admit that there are so many shallow minded people that expect the parents of a disappeared, and presumably, kidnapped, raped, and murdered child to just say “oh, well, that’s that” and go home. i’m so proud of the twitty’s and holloway’s i can’t stand it. i’ll brag about them and their example of parenthood to my dying day. the shallow minded ones, i’ll do my very best to forget. they demean the species.

    41. kathleen champion on October 7th, 2005 3:22 pm

I too believe its time to call in the psychics. The police, government, FBI, reward money and search teams have come up with nothing. The Holloway Twitty family need to talk to James Van Praagh, Allison Dubois, or Rosemary Altea. Alll have worked with police before to solve crimes and with families of missing kids. They’ve been on Larry King
and other reputable shows. I believe this case needs one of them to once and for all give the family the answers they need so justice can prevail.

    42. ellie on October 7th, 2005 11:24 pm

why don’t we get in touch with Sylvia Brown, the psychic, or the other psychics on A&E? ? Or Montel Williams?

    43. MadMan on October 8th, 2005 9:40 am

Thought there were only monkeys on this blog, now you tell me there are sheep too? I understand jims frustrations. A lot off you all talk about justice. And condem everybody on Aruba with out any proof. Probably you are right in that the kalpoes and Mr J. know something. Likely she was raped by one ore more of these “gentlemen”. But does that prove they’ve killed her. No i don’t think so. They could be telling the truth that they dropped her off at the beach. Victims of rape sometime’s want to make an end to the shame of beeing raped, and in NH case she got in the car herself, this would even make it worse than that she would’ve been grabbed, and do somtimes commit suicide. It is a theory like all the other’s going around. Why wouldn’t this one be true?

    44. ellie on October 8th, 2005 7:20 pm

thanks for not putting my whole “post” in…I guess there are people here who don’t want you to read the whole truth

    45. Cheyenne on October 8th, 2005 8:58 pm

I admire no other any more than I do the father of Natalee. He possess what is so rare to see these days, one that truly is strong enough to remain dignified, calm in the eye of the storm, open and honest in the midst of this sometime salacious filled case. My heart was instantly touched by this father that shows such gentleness yet courage…a silent warrior…all ways there and always will be. It gives me comfort that Natalee has this kind of dad, oh how she must have loved and admired this man. I can see him having comfortable conversations with Natalee about anything and everything.

My heart has truly broken for him at the times it seemed he was ignored or just talked about as Natalee’s father with no name given. I thought how that must have hurt him deeply, as if somehow ot infer his love wasn’t what mattered and his love wasn’t important and his grief not as profound as any other family member. I think it broke his heart.

I do agree if anyone can ever solve this case it will be Dave Holloway and ALE. Dave doesn’t shut down his mind…he searches on for all possibilities that will lead him to what happened to his oldest child.

    46. Pat on October 10th, 2005 8:21 pm

Your theory deserves at least a passing thought, but it seems doubtful when the father of the suspect is saying “no body, no case” and Deepak has said that if he knew where the BODY was, he would lead someone to it.

    47. kitty on April 29th, 2007 5:54 pm

Dave, we too pray that they/you will find Natalee ~ it is through your Faith in Christ, that you can endure this suffering as He suffered too ~ He is holding you, and may He continually give you comfort through His Holy Spirit ~ may He give you His continued strength to continue on ~ may you find peace in your faith and suffering as He suffered for all on the cross ~ I pray, that you will find your daughter and be able to bring her home ~ God Bless you bro, may you know, that many around the world applaud your tenacity and not giving up ~ you’ve demonstrated love for a daughter as our Father in heaven does… Vengence is His and you’ve acted in Grace and shown forth His love ~

Hold on to His promises in the word, as it’s true ~ the New Testament, Matthew 18:6 ~ But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. (now that’s quite visual…) They may think they got away with murder, but He knows all… and they have to stand before Almighty God in the end ~

      hugs ~

I love your devotion!!! You’re not being objective though! I understand your emotions. My son was murdered. Don’t give up !!! Just take a differant look. Assemble the facts. Assemble the lies!!! Then ask questions and make judgements!!! Look into what the good things in Aruba are. They are called cameras. They are everywhere. Very reveling!!! Listen to Dompeg’s version. This vehicle confession was a joke. A set up! Just out of jail, no job, $70,000.00 RangeRover. He stated it was his? It was leased!! Did you know that? Casino videos!!!! Telephone bills!! The friends are now 21, someone is going to tell the facts soon. Shaperon’s..yeah they should be ..I won’t say. The Carlos and Charles video shows what they were doing.Juristiction is your problem. Noone will charge anyone. FBI has no juristiction, and they don’t want to revel their results. I recognize your grief. Does Beth have any? CJ101 look at the facts, don’t guess. They are there!!! Just not being put together properly. I’m sorry for your struggle and sorrow. It will come out soon!

Go to the lighthouse out by the rocks….I read where Joran recently said he pushed Nat and her head hit a rock. He’s a lying bastard more likely he hit her with a rock. Dave they have tremendous rising and falling of tide. i tried to find the tide schedules for Aruba at the time this thing happened. If it was low tide most likely the scum bag buried her near that lighthouse in a tidal pool. One changing of the tide and she would not move , just like a pier pylon. Don’t take that as cold I want you to fina your daughter. Good luck dude.
