Amanda Jones, St Louis Women, Still Missing
Amanda Jones, the 9 month pregnant St Louis woman, has still not been found and investigators have intensified the effort to find her.
Police have received about 70 tips regarding the disappearance of Amanda Jones, a nine months pregnant Pevely woman missing since Sunday, but say they still have no evidence of a crime or any indication of what happened to her.
A loan administrator at Eagle Bank in Festus, Jones, 26, was last seen at the horse-show grounds of the Hillsboro Civic Center on Highway 21 in central Jefferson County about 5 p.m. Sunday. Police found her unlocked car there but said it offered no clues.
Police have not recovered Jones’ purse or cell phone.
Jefferson County Sheriff Oliver “Glenn” Boyer said a 20-person task force is investigating the case.
In a press conference Thursday morning, Boyer said police had intensified the search for Jones overnight Wednesday searching the property near and adjacent to the Civic Center on foot, using canine units and from the air, but had found no clues.
“We have no physical evidence, nor do we have any statements from anyone to indicate that a crime has been committed,” Boyer said.
He added, however, that police considered Jones’ disappearance to be suspicious.
“We are treating this as a very serious incident,” Boyer said.

Dave Holloway; Some Phone calls are Better than others
Especially when they have good news on the other end from Tim Miller. From tonights Abram’s Report on MSNBC we learn from Dave Holloway that sometimes hope is kept alive by simply receiving a telephone call. Dave Holloway tells us of the phone call he received from Tim Miller of Texas EquuSearch who said, “I have some good news for you.”
Dave: Late this afternoon, Tim Miller with TES called me out ot the blue. Wanted to know how I was doing, feeling, all that stuff. He wanted to know when I was going back to Aruba. I said, well, when you go back, I’ll go back. We are partners. I have some good news for you. He is working on a deal to move some dozer’s to the landfill from the USA. To possibly get a company to commit some people and assets. It is still in the works, not finalized. Still in the talking stage at this point. I was given a little hope that we can clear that landfill.
Dan: How do you keep hope alive at this point?
Dave: It is just like the phone call I received today from Tim. That was a big concern for me, the landfill was not properly searched. I spent 50 days on the island continually searching, a lot of time with TES and a lot of people involved with TES. They have done a great job. Landfill was the last issue, other than that…we are probably looking at the ocean as the last place.
No one needs to know any more about Dave Holloway and what type of individual he is than his comment, “I said, well, when you go back, I’ll go back. We are partners”. He is a real class act and was my honor to meet him and try and help him in whatever way I could.

Local Artist Gives Gift To Beth from the Heart
A Gift from the Heart
Such gifts from the heart and the thoughtfulness is probably exactly what helps Beth Holloway Twitty make it through some of the more difficult times. This is just another example of the kind hearted Aruban people and the caring they have demonstrated to Natalee’s family.
Aruban Artist Richard Tromp airbrushed a rendering of Natalee Holloway as a present from Aruba to Beth Holloway Twitty. Tromp stated that he painted this picture from the bottom of his heart because he knows that Twitty is in enormous pain and that Aruba is feeling the agony along side this mother who has lost her child. Twitty was overwhelmed with emotion upon receiving the gift and thanked Tromp for his gesture and sincerity. The unveiling ceremony lasted just a few minutes as ABC, NBC, MSNBC, FOX, CBS, AP, TeleAruba and Aruba Today covered the intimate event.(Aruba Today)

Beth Twitty; A mother’s Frustration Sets In
One can only imagine what it must be like to be Beth Holloway Twitty and have to deal with the roller coaster of emotion, the alleged here today gone tomorrow evidence of the case and the never ending task of having to keep the story alive in the news. It is a position that none of us will truly know and no one ever wants to experience. The stress and strain of the investigation in Aruba and the not knowing and lack of evidence obviously and understandably takes its toll on Beth from day to day. Its that frustration and phases of frustration that were discussed last night on Scarborough Country. As solid and upbeat as Beth has been like when she made the comment, “I’ve been saving it for you Deepak”. There also just have to be moments off camera that are difficult at best. (full transcript)
SCARBOROUGH: That’s remarkable. I want to ask you about yourself, personally. I heard in an interview last night with NBC’s Michelle Kosinski, that we played a tape on this show, you talking about how you go through phases. That this is a more difficult phase that you’re going through, you talked about certain realization that’s coming to you and started to tear up. Is that a phase that you’re still going through right now, or were you just tired when you had gave that interview? What’s your current state of mind right now?
TWITTY: Oh, Joe, every day is different. I never—I really—I never know how I’m going to feel during the day. Sometimes I feel different from the morning than I do in the afternoon. I mean, I still wake up either mad, angry, sad, I mean, I never know. I never know, Joe.
SCARBOROUGH: What makes you more angry, that Joran’s sitting in jail, lawyered up with as many as nine lawyers and not talking, or the fact that the two Kalpoe brothers are walking the streets free on the same island where you sit tonight?
TWITTY: You know, Joe, there are probably two parts. You know, the one thing that frustrates and angers Jug and I the most is this being locked out of information, just being kept in the dark. You know, just bring us in we’re here on the island. You know, we were so industrial in the beginning in providing them with all the information that they just let fall apart before our eyes. You know, there again, you look at Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. I think it’s just absolutely—oh, it’s just so disheartening to us to see them, you know, getting up and they’re at work every day, and they’re able to, you know, continue about their lives, and their jobs. And, you know, we’ve absolutely no information. The only thing we know is that Deepak and Satish Kalpoe—Deepak was the driver of the vehicle that took Natalee from Carlos’s and Charlie’s, and, you know, it just—just saddens me and just makes me sick when I think of her climbing into the back seat of what she’s thinking is an Aruban cab with an Aruba cab driver. It’s just absolutely devastating.
