Greenspan Knows Best

Remember when Democrats loved Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan. Remember when the King of the Democrats, William Clinton, praised Greenspan and renominated him in 2000?

If Democrats trusted Greenspan in the past, why are they not listening to him now? When Greenspan talks about Social Security reform Senate & House Democrats should listen. When someone like Greenspan makes the following comments, politicians should quit their selfish partisan behavior and remember why they are in office, who voted them there and who they are supposed to be looking out for:

Greenspan was more pointed.

“I fear that we may have already committed more physical resources to the baby boom generation in its retirement years than our economy has the capacity to deliver,” he said.

“If existing promises need to be changed, those changes should be made sooner rather than later.”
