HHS-Run Website Hacked … Now Selling NFL Jerseys, Ugg Boots, Armani Fragrances

Does this give those that need to sign up for Obamacare a warm fuzzy …

As reported at the The Weekly Standard, a portion of the website of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), an agency of HHS, was apparently hacked as long as two months ago. Makes you want to trust the Healthcare.gov web page and give the government your personal information, doesn’t it?

A portion of the website of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) was apparently hacked as long as two months ago.  SAMHSA is an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). HHS also runs the new Obamacare insurance marketplace, Healthcare.gov.

Dozens of pages hawking retail merchandise have been uploaded to the SAMHSA site, ranging from NFL jerseys to Ugg shoes to Armani fragrances.  Screen captures of the various pages are shown here:

UPDATE: Shortly after this story was posted, the site nace.samhsa.gov returned an error message saying that the site could not be found.  Later, the following message appeared on the site (misspelling included): “This site is undgoing maintenance. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.” Here’s a current screen capture:

Miriam Carey, Woman Who Rammed Barriers at White House and Involved in Car Chase to Capitol before Being Shot Dead … ‘may have thought that President Barack Obama was stalking her’

34 year old Miriam Carey of Stamford, CT who led police on a car chase from the White House to the Capitol in Washington, DC before being killed by police may have thought that President Barack Obama was stalking her. Sadly, Carey suffered from mental issues, including in some reports postpartum depression. She also had a history of mental issues. No matter how one looks at it, she was just a woman with too many issues. Now I agree with the Vodka Pundit 100% in that “what happened yesterday wasn’t even an attack , it was a disturbed woman acting out her delusion”. And thank God she did not harm anyone else seriously, including her one year old child. But, I will say the following. Imagine if the optics were different and instead of a crazy black woman in a car going off the rails and claiming that Barack Obama was stalking her, it was an insane white, male, Tea Party member in an SUV? Do you think the news coverage would be different?

The MSM would be making calls of racism, but for some reason this story does not fit their usual narrative.

The woman who led authorities on a chase from the White House to the Capitol before she was killed by police may have thought that President Barack Obama was stalking her, law enforcement sources told NBC News.

The sources said that the woman, Miriam Carey, had a history of mental health problems.

The chase, on Thursday afternoon, stirred panic in the capital and briefly stopped the mechanisms of government. It happened two weeks after a man shot 12 people to death at the Washington Navy Yard.

Members of the House and Senate, in a standoff over the government shutdown, were ordered to stay in place. One lawmaker was cut off mid-sentence during a speech. A swarm of police startled tourists who were taking in Washington on a summery day.

What ever happened to Democrats were for the Children? Democrat Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid and Democrats let America know just how little they care about children with cancer …

Just how little do Democrats care more about playing politics than they do actually caring about the children with cancer of “We the People,” one needs to look no further than the video below of Harry Reid being asked by a CNN reporter. Reid was asked, “but if you wanted to help one child with cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?” The reporter was referring to the fact that the GOP controlled House was passing a bill to add funding for the National Institute of Health (NIH), national parks and veterans.

Harry Reid’s response … “WHY WOULD WE WANT TO DO THAT”.

Isn’t that special. So we can now see just how little Obamacare really is about patient care and more about control. If Democrats really cared about the well being of individuals, they would pass a piecemeal bill that would include aiding cancer children. But no, instead they would rather play hard ball politics and defend Obamacare, a health care law that a majority of Americans do not want and most want it repealed. But Democrats would rather protect Obamacare at all cost than help children with cancer. Hmm, and I thought Democrats were supposed to be compassionate?

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney Defended Obama for Using “Gun to the Head” Rhetoric During Government Shutdown Debate

Isn’t it President Barack Obama and Democrats who are the one’s that are so anti-guns and want gun control?

Just two weeks after the Navy Shipyard shooting, Fox News reporter Ed Henry questioned the wisdom of the Barack Obama remark using “gun to the head” rhetoric  VIDEO) throughout the shutdown debate. Of course Obama’s mouth piece, Jay Carney, defended this bosses comment by saying that the GOP and the media have done the same. Really? So welcome to an America where the President is not held to a higher standard and supposed to show leadership. Isn’t it amazing that Obama, who is for gun control and has called for the weakening of the Second Amendment feels free to make such hateful and divisive comments.

Wasn’t it Obama who called for civility following the  Tucson, AZ shootings? Yup, no double standard here.

Hours before shots were fired outside the Capitol, Jay Carney defended Obama for using “gun to the head” rhetoric throughout the shutdown debate — and pointed out that Ed Henry has used a similar metaphor.

At Thursday’s White House press briefing, Fox News reporter Ed Henry asked Press Secretary Jay Carney if President Obama’s remarks about Republicans “holding a gun to the head of the American people” by threatening a government shutdown were wise given September’s mass shooting at the Naval Yard in Washington, D.C.

But it was not the first time Barack Obama made this same irresponsible comment. Flashback … Obama held the final press conference of his first term by demanding that House Republicans raise the $16.4 trillion debt ceiling. Republicans, alleged the president, were “holding a gun at the head of the American people” by demanding Democrats cut deficit spending.

And it gets better, or worse as the case may be. The Lonely Conservative reports that Barack Obama and Harry Reid are holding seniors hostage. As LC says, who is trying to throw granny over the cliff?
