During Yesterday’s House Hearings on Obamacare Website Rollout, Contractor Makes Embarassing Admission about Site … ‘It Didn’t Work’

UNREAL …

During yesterday’s House hearings on the disastrous rollout of the Obamacare website, Healthcare.gov, Republican and Democrat lawmakers grilled four of the contractors that worked on the site. However, during the questioning, an alarming and eye opening admission was made by one of the contractors. Rep. Tim Murphy (R-PA) asked Andrew M. Slavitt, an executive with Optum/Quality Software Services  (QSSI), if he tried to get on the Obamacare site himself. Slavitt replied, “I logged onto to create an account, but I just never received a confirmation email. It didn’t work.”.

Yup, who actually thinks the federal government can run the US healthcare system and 1/6 of the US economy?

From The Blaze:

Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.) asked Andrew M. Slavitt, an executive with Optum/Quality Software Services, Inc. (QSSI), if he tried to get on the Obamacare site himself.

Yes, I did,” Slavitt replied.

“Did it work?” Murphy asked.

“Well, I logged on to create an account, was able to do so,” Slavitt replied. “I just never received a confirmation email.”

“So it didn’t work?” Murphy pressed.

“It didn’t work,” Slavitt answered.

Obamacare Operator Erling Davis Fired After Taking Call From Hannity … Operator Says No Really Likes Obamacare (Update: Hannity To Pay Her a Year’s Salary)

Looks like some one has finally been fired for Obamacare and its not HHS Sec. Sebelius. Obamacare operator fired for being honest with  Conservative talk show host Sean Hannity …

Sean Hannity called in to the Obamacare call center and after several minutes of waiting got through to an Obamacare operator. Hannity spoke to Erling Davis for nearly 10 minutes about Obamacare and got some surprisingly honest answers. When asked by Hannity whether she had got anybody on the phone that really likes Obamacare, she responded, “Umm, no, not really”. It looks like there is consequences in the United States for “free speech” as for her efforts, operator Erling Davis was fired for her actions.

Sebelius NOT Fired? But This Single Mom ObamaCare Operator Is?

It is actually phenomenal to think that Erling was the only person fired after all the glitches, tech problems and failures of the Obamacare website. Rather unreal if you think about it, isn’t it? So thanks to Obamacare, another person has been added to the unemployment line.

VIDEO Hat Tip – The Gateway Pundit

Listen to the audio of Sean Hannity HERE.

HANNITY: They’re really telling you to tell us to check back in on the website in off-hours. Does that mean that I should go on at like three in the morning?

OPERATOR: It was saying early in the morning and late at night, but some people say they do that and still can’t get in.

HANNITY: So people are reporting to you the real deal?

OPERATOR: Yes sir, they are.

HANNITY: Have you ever got anybody that really likes it yet?

OPERATOR: Umm, no, not really.

UPDATE I: Sean Hannity Gives Fired Obamacare Operator Gift of One Year’s Salary.

Tonight Sean Hannity had Erline Davis on his television program.
He offered her a check to cover her salary for a year.
He also set up a hotline to help Earline find another job.

If you want to help Erline Davis get a job or give her well wished email her at jobs@hannity.com

University of Colorado Boulder Political Correctness … Tells Students Not to Wear Offensive Costumes including Cowboys, Indians or White Trash for Halloween

Good grief, are you kidding me … exactly how is it offensive to dress up like a cowboy or Indian?

The University of Colorado at Boulder is warning students not to dress up in Halloween costumes that are “offensive” and might make some people feel uncomfortable. UNREAL. The PC nonsense has now provided a war on Halloween. Offensive? What is offensive is the narrow-mindedness of the liberal hierarchy at CU and the lack of any sense of humor. You can’t have party themes or dress up like cowboys, Indians, white trash, ghetto or hillbillies. Nor themes of crime or sex work. Good grief!  What ever happened to people just having fun and be able to laugh? Let’s face it, there is always some one that will be offended by something. Especially in this day and age of “weeniness.” Just curious, how do you know you are not offending witches, goblins, ghosts, vampires and other ghouls by the costumes you wear, HMM?

I am guessing if they dress up like Barack Obama in an unflattering way that it will be grounds for dismissal.

Costumes you will not see at CU this Halloween for a multitude of reasons …

Cowgirl

Nor This …

Indian costume

University students in America have been told not to wear “offensive” halloween costumes including cowboys, indians and anything involving a sombrero.

Students at the University of Colorado Boulder have also been told to avoid “white trash” costumes and anything that portrays a particular culture as “over-sexualised”- which the university says includes dressing up as a geisha or a “squaw” (indigenous woman).

They are also asked not to host parties with offensive themes including those with “ghetto” or “hillbilly” themes or those associated with “crime or sex work.”

In the letter sent by a university official students are asked to consider the impact that their costumes could have.

Christina Gonzales, the dean of students, wrote: “Making the choice to dress up as someone from another culture, either with the intention of being humorous or without the intention of being disrespectful, can lead to inaccurate and hurtful portrayals of other people’s cultures.

I wonder if the University of Colorado officials think its ok for students to dress up like Conservatives and have anti-Tea Party themes?

BTW, get a life and a sense of humor.

The Finger Pointing Begins … ObamaCare Website Contractors CGI Federal & QSSI Blame Obama Administration for Healthcare.gov Fiasco

All for one and one for all, never mind, scratch that.

Its ever man for themselves as the finger pointing begins as who is to blame for the Obamacare website rollout disaster. ObamaCare Website Contractors, CGI Federal and QSSI, are firing back at the Obama administration and saying they are to blame for the Healthcare.gov website debacle. The blame game has begun; however, in the end the buck stops with Barack Obama and his signature piece of legislation. HHS secretary Sebelius was in essence the project lead and was responsible for the contractors work was up to snuff. Obama is in charge of Sebelius. So no matter how anyone wants to deflect blame from Obama, this is on him.

Obama_handonforehead

This is why you never allow someone unqualified to run a country … And you voted him in twice, good grief!!!

Principal contractors hired to build the ObamaCare website HealthCare.gov are hitting back at the Obama administration for the site’s overwhelming technical problems.

Executives from CGI Federal and QSSI—the site’s main contractors—are among four companies testifying before the House Energy and Commerce Committee Thursday on the glitches.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) “serves the important role of systems integrator or `quarterback’ on this project and is the ultimate responsible party for the end-to-end performance,” CGI’s Senior Vice President Cheryl Campbell said in prepared testimony, according to the Associated Press.

“No amount of testing within reasonable time limits can adequately replicate a live environment of this nature,” she added.

Campbell also said, according to The New York Times, that all of CGI Federal’s work was done “under the direction and supervision” of the Centers for Medicare ad Medicaid Services.

The report notes she blames “another contractor” for customers’ problems creating secure password-protected accounts, but didn’t identify the group.  The Times said government records show QSSI had that responsibility.

Andy Slavitt, who represents QSSI’s parent company, said he also blamed the administration for the late decision to require consumers to create accounts before they could actually browse health plans. That change, he said, contributed to the overload.
