July 4th 2012 … Happy Independence Day

Happy Birthday America, to the greatest nation on Earth, the Home of the Free and the Land of the Brave. However, it is each generations responsibility to maintain the freedoms and liberties that our Founding Fathers bestowed on us with their sacrifices. Remember America, freedom is not free. As you celebrate this 4th of July with family and friends remember also that it is not government, but your Creator that you are endowed with certain unalienable Rights. In a time in which it would appear that more and more Americans accept being dependent upon their government, maybe it is a good time for “We the People” to really understand and realize what others died for our rights to be free.

A note to the present day politicians whether they be Democrats, Republicans or Independents … Today “INDEPENDENCE” is to be celebrated, not dependence. The United States of America was founded on liberties and freedoms endowed from their Creator, not by government laws made to silence, enslave and make “WE THE PEOPLE” dependent on others. Do not allow an administration to promise entitlements and forever enslave you to the government. Do not ever forget what made America and Americans exceptional. If you do not stand up and say no and do things for yourself, as stated at Hot Air, we will become a government dependent society just like Europe.

In 1776 “WE THE PEOPLE” fought a War for Independence and against a tyrannical government. Men fought and died to throw off a tyrannical government and sought to put one in place that was of, by and for the American people. I would dare say that our Founding Fathers would cringe to see what their brave efforts have been transformed into today. Never forget America, whether it be with a musket in 1776 or a vote in present day, it is your responsibility to uphold the following words from the Declaration of Independence signed this day in 1776 … “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government … But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government …” America, do not ever let your voice be silenced and it is your God given right to uphold the values, virtues and liberties that were fought for you 236 years ago. America is worth fighting for, and it is your responsibility to do so.

Alamo Heights Defeat San Antonio Edison in Basketball …Chanting USA, USA, USA is Now Considered Racist in the America … What Has Happen to Our Country?

SINCE WHEN IS IT RACIAL TO CHANT USA, USA, USA … WHAT HAPPENED TO AMERICA?

File this one under, WTF has happened to the country that I was born in? How is chanting USA, USA, USA racist? Seriously, we have to apologize for such a chant? This political correctness BS has got to stop. Watch the VIDEO below … if one did not know that it was an actual news story, one would think that it was an SNL skit. BTW, is San Antonio, TX still in the United States?

KSAT reported that a racial incident took place following a high school basketball game between Alamo Heights and San Antonio Edison. The racial incident, the Alamo Heights fans chanted USA, USA, USA. HUH??? Because one team has a predominate amount of Hispanics on their team, it is considered racism to chant USA. They are actually apologizing for the incident and demanding the students apologize. APOLOGIZE FOR WHAT!!! We still do have a US Constitution and a First Amendment of Free Speech, correct? I am so sick of people crying racism, where there is none. How in the hell is chanting USA racism? If anyone actually thinks that, it might be time for you to leave …

But it was just after the trophy presentation when the coach was not proud of the chant coming from Alamo Heights fans.

“USA, USA, USA,” they chanted.

San Antonio Independent School District officials took the chant as a racial insult to a school with all minority players from a school with mostly white ones.

On the KSAT 12 Defenders Facebook page, Santos Villarreal’s post reads “this has to stop.”

SAISD Spokeswoman Leslie Price heard about the incident after it had happened.

“This is very disrespectful to our students,” Price said.

She said the district is glad the coach put a stop to the chant immediately and hopes Alamo Heights addresses it quickly.

“It is surprising and it’s disappointing to hear that anyone would be out there making those kind of remarks,” Price said.

Edison students who attended Saturday’s game were shocked when they heard the chant. Some thought the fans of the victors should have been better behaved.

How dare all those racists chant USA, USA, USA during “Miracle on Ice” at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY. This is how sadly low our country has become. I will say this, if any one thinks that chanting USA is bad or shameful … LEAVE, LEAVE RIGHT NOW!!! Are the kids from the predominantly Hispanic high school not attending school and living in the USA? Nuff said.

Just curious, what’s next not playing the United States National Anthem before sporting events, is that racist? How about America the Beautiful, is that racist? What about having an American flag in the gym, is that considered racist? How about God Bless America, is that racist too? Oh, but I bet chanting viva la Mexico would have been perfectly OK. Or wearing Hispanic heritage clothing on Cinco de Mayo while making other take off their USA clothes is ok as well.

Alamo Heights Superintendent Dr. Kevin Brown also apologized for the chant.

“We just hope that people know that that’s not who we are and we’re not going to let it happen again,” Brown said.

Alamo Heights has apologized to SAISD and the students identified will also have to apologize and have been banned from the state title games.

“We think that you have to earn a right to be there and that’s not a reflection of our school district,” Brown said.

I have one thing to say to those who were so offended  … USA, USA, USA!!!

Tis the Season … Santa Claus Dressed as Skeleton, Nailed to a Cross Removed from Public Christmas Display

Some things are beyond words. So a Nativity scene depicting the birth of Jesus Christ is offensive, but a skeleton dressed as Santa Claus nailed to a cross is not! Is this how low we have become in the US in our efforts to promote PC?

The War on Christmas continues as it is far game to offend Christianity. So only certain types of offensive free speech are allowed? Needless to say, an offended member of the community took down the offensive display.

 

The annual Leesburg dispute over holiday displays is getting as predictable as the rush of shoppers on Black Friday.

A skeleton, dressed as Santa Claus, nailed to a cross, was torn down by an enraged woman outside of the Loudoun County Courthouse.

The display was legally there, with the consent of the county, officials said.

Mary Czarnecki, a county resident, wasn’t having it. She, piece by piece and bone by bone, took “Skele-Claus” off the cross and laid him on the courthouse’s lawn.

“You don’t think this is offensive?”

The individual, Jeff Heflin, actually applied for approval with the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors to put up his anti-Christmas Season display.  He stated that his Christmas display “depicts how society’s materialistic obsessions and addictions are killing the season’s peace, love, joy and kindness.” Really?

I wonder what Church Jeff Heflin belongs to?

Oh, but get this … open minded words from an Atheist. This hypoctit says that people should keep an open mind about the skeleton dressed Santa. Really? WHERE IS THE ATHEISTS OPEN MIND WHEN IT COMES TO NATIVITY SCENES? ISN’T THIS WHAT HAS CAUSED THE POLITICAL CORRECTNESS PROBLEM IN AMERICA … NON-BELIEVERS LACK OF AN OPEN MIND AND SUING CHRIST OUT OF CHRISTMAS!!!

The leader of the Northern Virginia Atheists, Rick Wingrove, says tearing down the display was illegal, and people should keep an open mind.

“Offense is in the eye of the beholder. We’re offended by the religious displays on government  property. We think it’s constitutionally improper,” Wingrove said.

NBC Cuts “Under God” from From Pledge of Allegiance Prior to US Open Golf Championship

What part did NBC not get that it was the “US” Open Golf Championship?

While watching the beginning of US Open Gold Championship on Sunday, I noticed something just was not quite right. NBC decided to cut the words “under God” from the reading of the Pledge of Allegiance from the beginning of its coverage of the U.S. Open Golf Championship. To make matters worse, it didn’t just happen once, it occurred twice. So much for NBC’s patriotic salute during the US Open where the liberal editors willfully and purposely decided to edit out “under God.”

NBC apologizes for omitting “Under God” stating that is was not their intent to do so. BS!!! That portion, the “under God” part was intentionally omitted and you know it. You should be ashamed of yourself. As stated at Michelle Malkin, like we needed to wonder what part of the Pledge that NBC would was left out.

Leave it to NBC to do a heart warming tribute to America and leave out “Under God”

DAN HICKS: We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago. When we did, it was our intent to begin our coverage of this US Open championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship, held in our nation’s capital for the third time.  Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out.  It was not done to upset anyone, and we’d like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it.

Just curious, during this years British Open, will “GOD SAVE THE QUEEN” be omitted as well?

Massachusetts Principal Sends Home Permission Slip For Students to Recite Pledge of Allegiance … This is Still America?

This is still America, is it not?

The Edward Devotion School, a Brookline, Massachusettes school initially sent a permission notes home to parents for their children to opt out of the “pledge of alligiance”. Reciting the pledge to the country where you are a citizen of andf are going to school is potentially offensive? Really? Why are we not shocked that this occured in the deep blue state of Massachusetts. At least they didn’t arrest any one for drawing a US flag with a Sharpie, that we know of.

A Brookline school is now saying permission slips won’t be necessary for students to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Edward Devotion School, which has not recited the Pledge of Allegiance in seven years, will say the Pledge over the school’s intercom once a week beginning next month.

Gerardo Martinez, the school’s principal, initially said the permission slips were sent to encourage parents to have a discussion with their kids about the Pledge.

The principal also says he sent this note out to parents just to let them know it was okay if they do not want their kids to participate.
