Teenage Anti-Gun Activist David Hogg Protesting at NRA with ‘Armed Security’

YOU JUST CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP, THE HYPOCRISY OF THE LEFT ….

From the Washington Examiner, 18 year old, outspoken, anti-gun advocate from Parkland high school student David Hogg, showed up at a protest at the NRA headquarters in Fairfax, Va with armed security. Yes, that was not a misprint. The outspoken and misinformed gun grabbing teen activist had armed security. While Hogg tries to take your guns away from you and impose on your Second Amendment rights to own and have a gun, he has guns of his own for his own security. In other words Hogg should be spouting, guns for me, not for thee. But then again, isn’t this just typical hypocrisy and a double standard of the LEFT?

The National Rifle Association mocked gun control activist David Hogg for apparently showing up to a protest at the NRA headquarters in Fairfax, Va., this weekend with “armed security.”

“Today, @davidhogg111 (with armed security) and a bunch of gun-grabbing activists protested our empty HQ, and there were some interesting people there. Our social team chatted up the crowd and ended the day with ice cream paid for by @Everytown! Stay tuned for video interviews!” the NRA’s official Twitter account said on Saturday along with some photos. Everytown for Gun Safety is a nonprofit gun-control group.

Lt. Colonel Oliver North Becomes the Next NRA President

The NRA has announced that Lt. Colonel Oliver North, USMC (Ret.) will become President of the National Rifle Association of America.  North served 22 years as a Marine and was part of the National Security Council staff during the Reagan administration. Recently, he hosted a FOX  documentary series titled “War Stories with Oliver North” and was a contributor on Fox News. In response to the NRA’s decision North said, “I am honored to have been selected by the NRA Board to soon serve as this great organization’s President.”  As reported at FOX News, NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Wayne LaPierre called North a “legendary warrior for American freedom, a gifted communicator and skilled leader.” LaPierre called the North announcement “the most exciting news for our members since Charlton Heston became President of our Association.” When North was asked whether he was like Charlton Heston, North replied, “Charlton Heston was Moses, I am a retired Marine.”

“This is the most exciting news for our members since Charlton Heston became President of our Association,” said NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Wayne LaPierre.  “Oliver North is a legendary warrior for American freedom, a gifted communicator and skilled leader.  In these times, I can think of no one better suited to serve as our President.”

North said he was eager to take on this new role as soon as his business affairs were put in order.  North is retiring from Fox News, effective immediately.  “I am honored to have been selected by the NRA Board to soon serve as this great organization’s President,” North said.  “I appreciate the board initiating a process that affords me a few weeks to set my affairs in order, and I am eager to hit the ground running as the new NRA President.”

The NRA Board acted quickly to begin the process for North to become President, after former NRA President Pete Brownell announced this morning that, in order to devote his full time and energy to his family business, he had decided not to seek election to a second term.  In his letter to the Board, Brownell wholeheartedly endorsed North for President.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP ROCKS THE CROWD AT THE ANNUAL NRA LEADERSHIP COUNCIL …

If you want your Second Amendment protected and a continuation of the amazing economy we are experiencing, the record low unemployment and tax breaks, then all of you who came out and voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 elections, better get off your butts in 2018 and elect Republicans who will support and vote for the Trump agenda.

President Trump says gun rights don’t originate from government but “our sacred rights, given to us by God.”

Trump comments:

Trump said the Second Amendment is currently under siege, but as long as he’s president, his administration will defend the right to bear arms. [...]

The crowd cheered when Trump told the story of a political adviser telling him it could be unpopular to speak to the NRA.

“You know what I said? ‘Bye bye, gotta get on the plane,’ because we have to do the right thing,” he said.

Trump called out a new story about the federal judge in the Paul Manafort case harshly rebuking Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, suggesting they lied about the scope of the investigation, are seeking “unfettered power” and are more interested in bringing down Trump.

“It’s a witch hunt,” he told the crowd, adding he “loves fighting these battles.”

There Actually Are Brave Companies that Stand Up to the Bully LEFT … FedEx Is Not Cutting Ties to the NRA

IMAGINE THAT, A COMPANY THAT IS NOT BULLIED BY THE LEFT …

Yesterday as cowardly companies buckled to the bullying and threats of the LEFT and cut ties with the NRA, FEDEX did just the opposite. FEDEX stated that they were not cutting ties with the NRA. A question to the radical LEFT, Democrats and some of these misguided kids from Florida … exactly what did the NRA do? Do you really have any clue what the NRA stands for and what they do? Did they even bother to teach you about the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights? Obviously not. Sorry if I don’t take the advice of a teenager when it comes to a multi-billion dollar business.

FedEx put out a statement this afternoon saying they will not be cutting ties to the NRA:

FedEx Corporation’s positions on the issues of gun policy and safety differ from those of the National Rifle Association (NRA). FedEx opposes assault rifles being in the hands of civilians. While we strongly support the constitutional right of U.S. citizens to own firearms subject to appropriate background checks, FedEx views assault rifles and large capacity magazines as an inherent potential danger to schools, workplaces, and communities when such weapons are misused. We therefore support restricting them to the military. Most important, FedEx believes urgent action is required at the local, state, and Federal level to protect schools and students from incidents such as the horrific tragedy in Florida on February 14th.

FedEx is a common carrier under Federal law and therefore does not and will not deny service or discriminate against any legal entity regardless of their policy positions or political views. The NRA is one of hundreds of organizations in our alliances/association Marketing program whose members receive discounted rates for FedEx shipping. FedEx has never set or changed rates for any of our millions of customers around the world in response to their politics, beliefs or positions on issues.

The LEFT and the likes of David Hogg can rant all they want and attack businesses and attempt to extort them in the wake of the Parlkand shooting. However, you are not really helping, you appear to be just exploiting the tragedy. A note to the companies that buckled to the the pressure from the LEFT and their knee-jerk reactions to cut ties with the NRA, wait for the backlash. Newsflash, there are many more people who own guns and defend the Second Amendment than are members of the NRA. A whole lot more.
