Gallup Has Republicans Moving Ahead in Midterm Congressional Elections

More bad polling data for Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats as they continue to be in denial.

This time it is the Gallup Poll that is reporting that registered voters state they prefer Republican to the Democratic candidates in their district by 47% to 44% in this upcoming the midterm congressional election.

These results suggest the Republicans would have a strong showing if the midterm elections were held today. Since Republicans usually vote at higher rates than Democrats, the Republicans’ edge in voter preferences would likely exceed what the registered voter results indicate.

A Republican advantage among all registered voters in midterm elections has been rare in Gallup’s 60-year history of tracking congressional voting preferences, happening only a few times each in the 1950, 1994, and 2002 election cycles — all years in which Republicans had strong Election Day showings.

Democrats continue to tout that their pushing of health care reform against the will of the American people will benefit them in the upcoming midterm elections. Really? President Obama has even challenged Republicans to run on repealing Obamacare by challenging them to “Bring It On”. Don’t ask for things they might come true.  From the looks of this post-Obamacare poll it looks like “it has already been broughten”.  Every sign and indicator shows that a majority of the American people dislike what they Democrats are doing in Washington, yet the Donkey party continues to defy the people.

Even more troubling and what could conclude in landslide and sweeping election wins for Republicans this Fall in not only federal House and Senate races, but governor and State House elections as well is the tremendous advantage that Republicans have with the “Enthusiastic” factor. By a margin of  50% to 35%, Republicans are more energized than Democrats.

The Rasmussen Reports has Republicans ahead of Democrats in the Generic Congressional Ballot, 46% to 39%.

Pundits have asked whether the fever pitch of Republicans and Tea Party members could be sustained until the midterms. Personally, I see it getting even higher seeing that the Obama Administration is going to look and further poke at the “We the People” hornets nest and look to pass “Cap & Tax” and Illegal Immigration Amnesty against the will of the people.

See you in November … Democrats and some Republicans alike are going to learn a lesson in who works for who. Democrats like to talk about the historic Obamacare bill, wait until they see the historic loss of seats in an election, the likes that has never been seen.

Tea Party, a Fringe Element? Hardly, The Tea Party Movement is Of, By and For the People

Barack Obama, THE TEA PARTY IS WE THE PEOPLE …

Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Democrats and their spin doctor propagandists can try and marginalize The Tea Party Movement all they want. The Democrats can try and tell the American people that The Tea Party is a fringe movement. However, a note to Democrats … the American People feel more associated with the Tea Party than they do politicians in Washington, DC.

The Democrats and Obama just don’t get it. WE THE PEOPLE is the Tea Party. When they insult the Tea Party, they are upsetting and mocking a majority of the American people. Democrats have never understood that the Tea Party movement was the people who finally stood up and refused to take it any longer. Democrats mock the Tea Party and in essence they mock the very people who will be voting in the upcoming elections. Keep it up Dems, the more you do this … the more seats you will lose this November.

In official Washington, some consider the Tea Party movement a fringe element in society, but voters across the nation feel closer to the Tea Party movement than they do to Congress.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of U.S. voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress. Only 30% believe that those in Congress have a better understanding of the key issues facing the nation.

When it comes to those issues, 47% think that their own political views are closer to those of the average Tea Party member than to the views of the average member of Congress. On this point, 26% feel closer to Congress.

Finally, 46% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is more ethical than the average member of Congress. Twenty-seven percent (27%) say that the average member of Congress is more ethical.

Congress presently has a job approval rating that is below 20%. The Democrat controlled Congress has refused to listen to the will of the people. Of course those that would speech out against what has become a tyrannical government would have the backing of WE THE PEOPLE. Most politicians do not represent their constituents any more, they are party first.

For all the lies, all the accusations and all the bunk … the Tea Party and We the People remain strong and we shall see you all in November.

Sarah Palin Calls Out at Media “Bunk” at Searchlight Tea Party Rally

The Tea Party Express started their latest “Tea Party” bus tour in Searchlight, NV the home town of embattled Democrat Senate Majority leader Harry Reid. It will end on April 15 (Tax Day) in Washington, DC.

Keynote speaker Sarah Palin fired back at the liberal MSM for their portrayal and lies about the links between the Tea Party and calls for violence. In fiery Palin fashion, Sarah Palin called out the coverage of the MSM to be “fair and balanced”.

Firing back at critics who say that she and other conservatives had encouraged harassment of House Democrats who supported the health care overhaul, Sarah Palin Saturday ripped the media for casting her and tea party activists as violent.

“When we talk about fighting for our country, let’s clear the air right now about what it is that we’re talking about,” she told a crowd estimated by organizers at 20,000 gathered for a rally in a windswept desert lot about four miles north of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s tiny hometown. “We’re not inciting violence. Don’t get sucked into the lame-stream media lies.”

Palin, though, told Saturday’s crowd that “when I talk about it’s not a time to retreat, it’s a time to reload,” she was “trying to inspire people to get involved in their local elections and these upcoming federal elections. And telling people that their arms are their votes is not inciting violence.”

Palin also stated the following via the Gateway Pundit:

“Now when we talk about “fighting” for our country. Let’s clear the air right now on what it is we’re talking about. We’re not inciting violence. Don’t get sucked into the lamestream media’s lies about conservative America’s standing up for freedom as inciting violence. It’s a bunch of bunk what the media is trying to feed you.”

How does any think the MSM will fairly report the actions of the Tea Party when they can’t even report the attendance numbers accurately? As reported at NewsBusters, ‘CNN lowballs the Nevada Tea Party Event: ‘Hundreds of People, at Least Dozens of People‘.

The Gateway Pundit provides some video proof of CNN’s so called hundreds in attendance.

The AP reported that about 7,000 people streamed into tiny Searchlight, a former mining town 60 miles south of Las Vegas.

Many great pics from the Tea Party event at The Other McCain. Some are must see so that the MSM can differentiate between real Tea Party members and tea baggers.

Democrat Senate Majority leader Harry Reid might have chosen his sarcastic comments a little bit better when it came to the Tea Party folk who came to Searchlight, Nevada.

“I’m happy so many people came to see my home town of Searchlight and spend their out-of-state money, especially in these tough economic times,” Reid said. “This election will be decided by Nevadans, not people from other states who parachuted in for one day to have a tea party.”

Funny that you should mention that Harry. You might want to look at the polls that are of the Nevada voters who will be casting votes this November. Those people that don’t have parachutes want nothing to do with you.  Reid finds himself behind in the polls to GOP challengers Lowden and Tarkanian by 12% points with each GOP challenger garnering 50% of the vote. Senator Reid, you have an 8% favorability rating.

Harry Reid, YOU ARE TOAST!

US Rep Tom Perrielo (D-VA): “If You Don’t Tie Our Hands, We Will Keep Stealing” … Finally an Honest Democrat

Who knew there was actually one honest Democrat in Washington, DC. US Representative from Virginia, Tom Perrielo stated the following …

“If You Don’t Tie Our Hands, We Will Keep Stealing.”

Congressman Tom Perriello meets with Jefferson Area Tea Party March 16, 2010. “Social Security and Medicare are in trouble because politicians raided the cookie jar over and over again.

Now Obamacare looks to do more of the same by funding the government take over of health care by cutting Medicare and increasing SS. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, wake up America.

2010 Midterm Senate Election Round Up … Republicans Lead in many Races to Take Back Senate?

US Senate Races in 2010 Midterm elections.

How much will the economy, unemployment, federal spending, taxes, record deficits and a Democrats attempt to force Obamacare on “We the People” affect the 2010 elections?

Following the Scott Brown victory in the special election in Massachusetts, Democrats presently have a 59-41 advantage in the Senate as independents Lieberman, CT and Sanders, VT both caucus with the Democrats.

Republicans and Democrats will each be defending 18 Senate seats.  There are six retiring Republican Senators that will have to be defended in an open election. Democrats had 5 Senators retiring, including MA Senator Paul Kirk who’s seat was decided on January 2010 when Republican Scott won the special election.

Republicans will need to gain a +10 in pick ups during the midterm election in order to regain control of the US Senate. It would appear to be a tall order; however, the mood of the country and the polling data suggests it is not out of the realm of possibility. The Generic Congressional Ballot is presently at Republicans 44%, Democrats 35%.

Presently we have Republicans with a +9 pick up in 2010. Question, if Republicans pick up nine seats and there is a tie, would Liberman caucus with Republicans?

One thing is apparently obvious when reviewing the 36 Senate races in 2010. Republicans will have a much easier time defending their seats than Democrats. Even what some would think are the most safe Dem seats, at this point appear to be in play.

  • SOLID REPUBLICAN – 19
  • LEANS REPUBLICAN – 8
  • SOLID DEMOCRAT – 7
  • LEANS DEMOCRAT – 2

1. Arkansas - Presently held by Democrat Blanche Lincoln.

All of the polls have incumbent Blanch Lincoln behind the suspected Republican challenger Boozeman by 23% points.  Rasmussen has Lincoln trailing every potential Republican challenger as her favorability ratings have fallen and they can’t get up. Lincoln can thank her vote for Obamacare for her plight and her likely departure from the US Senate. Stick a fork in Blanche Lincoln, she is done.

This Senate seat is going to be a Republican pick up (+1). SOLID REPUBLICAN

2. California – Presently held by Democrat Barbra Boxer.

One would think that a Senate race was a solid win for Democrats. However, not since Barack Obama became President and the political climate in the US is anti-Democrat incumbents. It is incomprehensible to believe that Boxer only leads her Republican rival former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina in the most recent Rasmussen poll by 3 points, 46% to 43%.  The trend of support has been to Fiorina as in Nov. 09 Boxer had a 9% point lead.

Then again, no one though Scott Brown would win in Massachusetts either. How bad and detrimental to Democrats was Obamacare, in California, 49% favor the health care plan, while 48% oppose it. Boxer presently has a 4% point lead over Carly Fiorina.

To close to call bright now but it is a Democrat hold for the time being, but the Senate seat is in play … LEANS DEMOCRAT.

3. Colorado – Presently held by Democrat Michael F. Bennet.

According to recent polls incumbent Democrat Senator Michael Bennet is in real trouble against the presumed Republican challenger Lieutenant Governor Jane Norton. Norton leads Bennet 51% to 37%, a two-point gain for her from last month as Bennet is witnessing a Rocky Mountain low. Is it possible that Bennet could get defeated in the Democrat primary by former state House Speaker Romanoff . The story in Colorado is about anti-incumbency and many wonder whether an Obama campaign visit fir Bennet is going to be yet another Obama campaign kiss of death.

This Senate seat is going to be a Republican pick up (+2). SOLID REPUBLICAN

4. Illinois – Presently held by Democrat Roland Burris who was appointed after Barack Obama was elected President in 2008. Burris is not going to run in 2010, this will be an open seat election.

Illinois represents a major targeted state for Republicans for the symbolic nature of taking over President Barack Obama’s former Senate seat. Following the recent primaries, Republican Mark Kirk won big, while Alexi Giannoulias won a tough Democrat race. Shortly after the smoke cleared from the primary, polls showed that Kirk had a 6% point lead over Giannoulias, 46% to 40%. Republicans stand poised to pick up this open Democrat seat as voters not affiliated with either party, the Republican holds a sizable 59% to 22% lead.

This Senate seat is going to be a Republican pick up (+3). LEANS REPUBLICAN

5. Kentucky - Presently held by Republican Jim Bunning who is retiring. This will be an open seat election. With Jim Bunning retiring, GOP candidates Trey Grayson and Rand Paul have wide leads over the Democrat challengers Daniel Mongiardo and Jack Conway. Kentucky has been a RED state that will see the GOP hold the Blue Grass state.

The election result will be a Republican Senate hold, SOLID REPUBLICAN.
