John McCain Finally Says Sarah Palin Did Not Hurt his Presidential Campaign
Symbolism as why McCain lost … the straight talk express and mavericky candidate was no where in the campaign tone.
After going in hiding since the Presidential Election night loss to Barack Obama. John McCain comes out and finally says that VP pick Sarah Palin did not hurt his Presidential bid. Really!!! McCain visited Jay Leno and The Tonight Show as his first appearance since losing his White House bid. However, his defense and personal accountability of his campaign and his handlers was less than “mavericky”.
In his first interview since conceding the presidential election, John McCain said Tuesday that Sarah Palin did not damage his presidential bid and he dismissed anonymous criticism aimed at her following their crushing defeat.
“I’m so proud of her and I’m very grateful she agreed to run with me. She inspired people, she still does,” McCain told Jay Leno during a “Tonight Show” interview taped for broadcast Tuesday night. “I couldn’t be happier with Sarah Palin.”
Asked by Leno to address griping about Palin from unidentified McCain operatives in the days following the election, the Arizona senator said, “These things happen in campaigns.
“I think I have at least a thousand, quote, top advisers,” he scoffed. “A top adviser said? … I’ve never even heard of … a top adviser or a high-ranking Republican official.”
Michelle Malkin seems to agree as well that McCain’s defense of his VP and the attacks of Sarah Palin by unnamed staffers was underwhelming. In fact, it was McLame.
The Jawa Report never holding punches gives some straight talk of their own.

What if ‘SNL’ or the MSM mocked Michelle Obama or Barack Obama … Media Double Standard
Double standard in the media … You betcha!!!
Humor is not only supposed to be funny, really good humor is also based on a hint of the truth. The fact that the media cannot poke fun of Obama is telling. Personally, if one cannot find humor in their own actions and poke fun at themselves, they are not well rounded enough to lead as they take themselves far too seriously.
Why can’t the “lame” stream media or late night comedy shows like SNL be fair in their representation of their craft? One, the media, is supposed to report the news, provide us with insight and expose the truth. They are supposed to do this without an overt bias an openly rooting for a political candidate. The other, comedy, is supposed to make us laugh through whatever method and provide a satirical environment of not only the political landscape, but our society. Why do they both fail miserably? Is it any wonder why the NY Times is losing money. They must ask themselves, in an Obama Administration … what is the media and SNL going to show their readers and viewers, a blank page or screen?
As Pat Buchanan recently wrote, what if SNL mocked Michelle Obama? Buchanan’s thought is if they did they would be brought up on hate crimes. If anyone thinks that is far fetched all one needs to look at is the consistent use of the word “racist” for any questioning of Barack or Michelle Obama. Instead the MSM piles on Sarah Palin, John and even Cindy McCain and forgets Biden and the Obama’s. The liberals play the “experience” card with Palin, yet forget their hypocrisy in that not too long ago the Dems were a scream way from nominating Howard Dean, an inexperienced Governor of the small state of VT to be President.
The media cannot get enough of the “Saturday Night Live” impersonations of Palin as a bubblehead. News shows pick up the Tina Fey clips and run them and run them to the merriment of all.
Can one imagine “Saturday Night Live” doing weekly send-ups of Michelle Obama and her “I’ve never been proud” of my country, this “just downright mean” America, using a black comedienne to mimic and mock her voice and accent?
“Saturday Night Live” would be facing hate-crime charges.

BIAS MSM in the Tank for Barack Obama … One Cannot Deny the Facts the MSM is Obama Propaganda
According to the PEW Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism the media has been in the tank for Barack Obama in a most decided way. Who would have ever thought. The MSM covering McCain in a more negative light than Obama, say it isn’t so. Why would the media ever try to take the side of one candidate over another, especially when that candidate agrees with their liberal agenda. Hmm? Sadly enough during this Presidential election campaign the media has finally shown its true colors and can never be trusted again to report anything honestly without their liberal slant and agenda. Any objective pretense is gone when one openly roots for one candidate over another. As Power Line states by their reaction to this study, No Surprise here. The media is supposed to protect us from government, not take sides with it. That would be called propaganda, not media.
The media coverage of the race for president has not so much cast Barack Obama in a favorable light as it has portrayed John McCain in a substantially negative one, according to a new study of the media since the two national political conventions ended.
Press treatment of Obama has been somewhat more positive than negative, but not markedly so.
But coverage of McCain has been heavily unfavorable—and has become more so over time. In the six weeks following the conventions through the final debate, unfavorable stories about McCain outweighed favorable ones by a factor of more than three to one—the most unfavorable of all four candidates—according to the study by the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism.
Study: Media Portrays McCain in “Substantially Negative” Light Compared to Obama. The media would have “We the People” believe that Sarah Palin is a drag on the McCain ticket when every honest thinking person knows it is just the opposite. Many Republicans are engaged in the process only because of Sarah. Where is the media attention to Biden and his obvious gaffes that have affected Obama in a negative way?

More Niceties from the LEFT … Jon Stewart to Sarah Palin, “F#@& You” … No Negativity from the LEFT Colin Powell
Colin Powell best look up in the dictionary the definition of the word “inclusive.”
Sadly enough in the end to some one who was once respected by many, Colin Powell can only see hate and negativity on one side through his own rose colored glasses. Powell has said that his decision to back Obama is not about race, really? Who is Powell kidding that his decision is about the negative turn of McCain campaign, back in September Powell made the following comment … “Colin Powell, the first African-American Secretary of State, said this afternoon that electing an African-American US president would be “electrifying” for the world …”
Because this is average, play nice, non-negative coverage of politics from the Left … Jon Stewart of “The Daily Show” tells Sarah Palin “F%#k You”. You a wit and vocabulary you have Jon Stewart. Sorry Mr. Stewart is you think that the pro-America part of the country does not include you. Do you have a guilty conscience? How ironic and ridiculous that an elitist like Stewart would become so offended that rural America is referred to as pro-America when Stewart makes a living trivializing small town America and the people who live there and referring to anyplace that is not where high browed city folk live as “the woods”.
Speaking to a college audience in Boston, Mass. Friday, “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart used his stand-up routine to respond to Sarah Palin’s comments about “pro-America” parts of the country, shedding the profanity restrictions that govern his Comedy Central show.
“She said that small towns, that’s the part of the country she really likes going to because that’s the pro-America part of the country. You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly: [expletive] you,” Stewart said to raucous applause.

Sounds Like Biden has a Dan Quayle Potato”e” Moment: Joe Biden, Jobs are a 3 Letter Word, J O B S
Wait, its a Joe Biden sighting … fire up the gaffe-o-meter.
Imagine, just imagine if Sarah Palin had made this comment. Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden thinks that JOBS are a 3 letter word. However, when a Democrat makes a screw up like this … it’s just Joe being Joe; however, if Sarah Palin had done the same it would be headline breaking news that she was unqualified to be Vice President and a sure fire skit for Saturday Night Live.
One thing is for certain, Obama’s socialist spread the wealth ideas for our economy is a four letter word.
