Justice? Ex-Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee Says He Was Pressured By City Officials To Arrest George Zimmerman in Death of Trayvon Martin Even Though He Already Cleared Him Of Any Wrongdoing

So much for the US Constitution, its now about mob rule. So this is how we arrest individuals and administer justice now for a crime in a Banana Republic United States?

Former Sanford, Florida Police Chief Bill Lee told CNN in an interview that he was fired for not arresting George Zimmerman. According to Bill Lee, he was pressured by city officials who cared more about appeasing the public, rather than if George Zimmerman was guilty.  The city officials just wanted an arrest and did not care whether the US Constitution was followed or not.  Lee told the officials you can’t arrest without probable cause, and was fired for upholding Zimmerman’s constitutional rights.

“The police department needed to do a job, and there was some influence — outside influence and inside influence — that forced a change in the course of the normal criminal justice process,” Lee said. “With all the influence and the protests and petitions for an arrest, you still have to uphold your oath.”

“That investigation was taken away from us. We weren’t able to complete it,” he said.

The George Zimmerman investigation was hijacked “in a number of ways” by outside forces, said the former police chief of Sanford, Florida.

Bill Lee, who testified Monday in Zimmerman’s second-degree murder trial, told CNN’s George Howell in an exclusive interview that he felt pressure from city officials to arrest Zimmerman to placate the public rather than as a matter of justice.

“It was (relayed) to me that they just wanted an arrest. They didn’t care if it got dismissed later,” he said. “You don’t do that.”

When Sanford police arrived on the scene on February 26, 2012, after Zimmerman fatally shot unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, they conducted a “sound” investigation, and the evidence provided no probable cause to arrest Zimmerman at the scene, he said.

It had nothing to do with Florida’s controversial “Stand Your Ground” law, he said; from an investigative standpoint, it was purely a matter of self-defense.

Was the fix in from the beginning to railroad George Zimmerman from the outset and get their pound of flesh from Zimmerman, no matter what? So this is what passes as “justice” in the United States? We now have mob rule and the over all riding factor is that Zimmerman be found guilty to prevent race riots, rather than the rule of law. So let’s appease the Black panthers rather than provide a defendant their Constitutional rights. UNREAL.

MSLSD MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry actually compared the GITMO terrorist inmates to American slaves. Wow, just wow. What is wrong with this network? Not only does the race baiting continue for the Far Left, but the foolish and ignorant comment was a complete insult to anyone who was a slave in America and their memories. Can you imagine if some one on Fox News made such a comment? Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the NAACP would be calling for a boycott and their firing. After 25 years, the woman who  perpetrated one of the  most vile hoaxes upon the American people has been slapped with a court order to pay up for her crimes. For years  Tawana Brawley had been hiding from her lies and her past living under the assumed name of Tawana Vacenia Thompson Gutierrez in Hopewell, VA.  She was working as a licensed nurse at The Laurels of Bon Air, a nursing home in nearby Richmond. Hmm, how does one become a licensed nurse under an assumed name. I am sure no fraud or HIPAA violations were committed there. I wonder if her pal Al Sharpton will come to her aid? After all, it was the Tawana Brawley false accusation rape charges that fanned the flames of racial tensions in 1987 that brought Sharpton to national prominence. Its hard to believe that it has been 25 years since this rotten episode of deceit, lies, character assassination and slander took place.  Isn’t that something though, an incident of nothing more than lies, race baiting and racist accusations, and fraud is what is behind Sharpton’s fame. I guess that explains why he presently is employed at MSNBC. Only in America.

Infamous hoaxster Tawana Brawley — whose outrageous rape lie 25 years ago inflamed racial tensions nationwide — yesterday was finally slapped with a court order to settle a hefty defamation case against her.

“For at least 25 years, she has been living a major lie,” said former Dutchess County prosecutor Steven Pagones, who was falsely accused of raping Brawley in 1987 and finally tracked her down, thanks to The Post.

“To me, this has always been about responsibility and accountability,’’ added the former ADA, who won the $190,000 defamation lawsuit against Brawley, 40, now a nurse in Virginia, more than a decade ago.

At 9 percent interest, that debt, which Brawley never attempted to pay off, now totals $431,492, according to the wage-garnishment papers filed in Virginia’s Surry County Court.

Just for Al’s information, a president gets on Mt Rushmore because they changed the future of America and was a  transformative president for the positive. Ramming the government take over of healthcare against the will of the people, having a record number of Americans on Food Stamps, a record number of Americans on disability, millions of out of work Americans, and spending more money and increasing the debt in four years than all other presidents combined is hardly a way to get your face on Mt. Rushmore.

Ronald Reagan is qualified to be on Mt. Rushmore. Unlike Obama where the USA may never be able to recover from the damage that this president has inflicted upon us. Our children, grand children and great grand children will be paying for what this socialist president has done for generations.

Maybe Al Sharpton needs a history lesson. Teddy Roosevelt is considered one of the top five  Presidents of all time. Barack Obama, he is considered the most polarizing and liberal president of all times. Sorry Al, but “Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick” wins out over Obama’s lie to the American people and carry a big tax. Unlike Obama who has done nothing but some how gets kudos from a corrupt media complex, Teddy Roosevelt was an outdoorsman and naturalist who promoted the conservation movement and is credited with establishing the National Parks system. On the world stage, Roosevelt was the force behind the completion of the Panama Canal; sent the Great White Fleet on a world tour to demonstrate American power; and negotiated the Portsmouth treaty that ended to the Russo-Japanese War, for which he won the Nobel Peace Prize.  Roosevelt actually deserved a Nobel Peace Prize, unlike Barack Obama who was handed one for doing nothing. Unlike Obama who does not believe that America should be the only international power Roosevelt believed in American power.

Sorry Al but a president who destroys American exceptionalism, promotes class warfare, socialism and is the most decisive president that this country has had the misfortune of experiencing belongs no where near Mt. Rushmore. Maybe they will rename food stamps after Obama? Sorry, we do not give monuments to presidents who set out to destroy America, we give them bobble-head dolls.

Fox News Sean Hannity Gets George Zimmerman’s Exclusive Interview … Discusses Night He Shot Trayvone Martin, “I Looked up and He Punched Me and Broke my Nose.” … He Prays for Trayvon’s Family Daily (VIDEO)

Tonight Fox News Sean Hannity scored the exclusive interview with George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch man in Sanford, FL who shot and killed Trayvon Martin. Did you think that Al Sharpton and MSNBC would get the interview? The case has become a polarizing news story of racism, media bias and anti-gun law agenda. Sadly, once the bias liberal media attached themselves to the case, the facts became irrelevant.

However, as the prosecution has released information in the case under Florida Sunshine laws, some of which should never have been released and was only done so to sway public opinion and inflame prejudice against Zimmerman. Tonight George Zimmerman flanked by his attorney Mark O’ Mara went on their own PR offensive. Amazingly Zimmerman went through the events of the evening where he  followed Trayvon Martin, got into a scuffle with Martin while getting his nose broken and eventually shooting Martin dead. Some will call it a crazy legal move for a man facing second degree murder charges, others will say that the case is being tried in the court of public opinion, why not present your side to the public. During the interview George Zimmerman said, “I am sorry that they buried their child. I can’t imagine what it must feel like. I pray for them daily.”

Martin soon turned to confront Zimmerman and “asked me what my problem was” before the exchange escalated into violence, Zimmerman told Hannity in his first TV interview, conducted in an undisclosed location in Florida. The 28-year-old, with his attorney sitting by his side, said he reached into his pocket to find his phone to call 911 for a second time, and “I looked up and he punched me and broke my nose.” At one point Zimmerman said he heard Martin “telling me he’s going to kill me.”

The case drew intense national attention as speculation grew about the motives for the shooting, especially given that Martin was black. Zimmerman has white and Hispanic heritage. He dismissed suggestions by some that he acted out of racism. “I don’t think it’s fair that they rushed to judgment to assume that,” he told Fox News.
