More Media Bias & Double Standard … MSNBC Host Martin Bashir Reports on the Romney Bus Tour by Showing VIDEO Blowing Up the Bus
Could you image if FOX News or a Conservation leaning media outlet made such a VIDEO where a Democrat bus blew up? Only the LEFT can get away with this. Had the Right done such a thing they would be getting a visit from the Secret Service.
We know that no one watches MSNBC, so we shall bring the clip to you. MSNBC host Martin Bashir displayed a VIDEO that shows the Mitt Romney’s bus blowing up in a recent segment. Really. This from the people who criticized Sarah Palin for putting political bull-eyes on Democrats that were being targeted in 2012? That was considered violent and mean spirited, but some how, as the Gateway Pundit calls it, Romney assassination porn is AOK.
Hat Tip: The Gateway Pundit
More from the American Thinker who echoes our thoughts of how irresponsible such a VIDEO really is. But when the LEFT does it, its comedy. When the Right does something similar, it id deemed over the top and mean spirited. In the VIDEO they use a scene from ‘Speed’ where a crazed bomber blows up a public transit bus. Somehow MSNBC thinks that making the comparison to blowing up Mitt Romney’s bus is ok? Where is the outrage? Following the Gabby Giffords’ shooting the LEFT tried to blame right-wing vitriol for the assassination attempt. Yet this is perfectly fine.
MSNBC’s Martin Bashir’s featured a witless, embarrassingly crude video segment cutting from the Romney campaign bus to movie clips of exploding busses, apparently to stoke violent viewer fantasies of assassinating the presumptive Republican nominee with a bus bombing. This is stunningly irresponsible, considering that anyone can learn on the internet how to construct a bomb and detonation mechanism.
Democrats went insane over the Sarah Palin political bulls-eye map that targeted states that the GOP wanted to change from Blue to red in 2010. However a VIDEO depicting a candidates bus blowing up is fine. Yea, no double standard here.
UPDATE I: Even more MSM bias. Check out how Reuters reported on the Romney Bus Tour, ‘Romney small town tour preaches mostly to the choir’. How many liberal MSM stories of Obama speaking to his flock or union members do you read where it says the Obamamessiah is preaching to the choir? 3 … 2 … 1 … the answer would be never.
Enthusiastic crowds waving American flags and holding campaign signs are greeting Mitt Romney on a five-day bus tour but the Republican’s first big campaign swing since the primary season ended is reaching out to voters who are already in his column.
Romney’s “Every Town Counts” trip through battleground states is unlikely to win over many of the independents who will decide November’s election against President Barack Obama. Instead, Romney is addressing mostly loyalists who waited in long check-in lines to hear him and, on Sunday, braved a thunderstorm to listen to their candidate.
All I can say is, imagine if that was Obama’s bis depicted in the VIDEO?

Mitt Romney and Barack Obama Tied in Blue State of Michigan, Obama Holds Slim Lead 46.9% to 45.5%
WOW!!!
With all due respect to The Hill, a state that Obama won in 2008 by 16% and Democrat Presidential candidates have won repeatedly won in past Presidential elections 2004, 2000, 1996, and 1992 is hardly considered a “swing state”. It should rightfully be called a “blue” state fed up with Obama.I think we can say officially that “Hope & Change” is a thing of the past.
However, as reported at The Hill, Poll: Obama and Romney statistically tied in swing-state Michigan. If states that Barack Obama won in 2008 by 16% over John McCain are in play in 2012, Obama is in for a world of hurt in his reelection bid. The “blue” state of Michigan being called a “swing” state just shows how poor a job as President Obama has done and how badly he has handled the economy. This is the second poll in a row that has showed Obama and Romney are in a virtual tie. Really, the union labor intense state of Michigan up for grabs in 2012? As Weasel Zippers states, “Barry’s world continues its epic collapse before our very eyes.” Obama must now defend another state that should have been considered solid blue.
Mitt Romney has caught President Obama in Michigan, according to a poll released Thursday.
Obama still holds a slight edge in the poll, 46.9 to 45.5, but that’s within the survey’s 2.3 percent margin of error. The poll was conducted by Michigan-based political consultants Foster, McCollum, White & Associates.
It’s the second straight poll to show Obama and Romney in a dead heat in the Wolverine State. Romney held a 1-point advantage in an EPIC-MRA poll released last week.
Even the undecided voters in Michigan are beginning to take Obama’s and Bill Clinton’s words to heart regarding the economy. Obama stated that if he did not fix the economy in 4 years that he would be a one term President. Clinton begged voters in 2010 to give Democrats 2 more years. It looks like Obama will get his wish, the economy is in the tank and he will be a one term wonder.
According to RCP, Obama had a double digit lead in Michigan a month ago. However, that was then. Much more at Hot Air including an interesting data nugget from the poll crosstabs that is a big plus for Mitt Romney.

Rasmussen Wisconsin President Election 2012 Poll: Romney 47%, Obama 44% … Wisconsin Now a Swing State
My what a difference a recall election makes. Wisconsin is now considered a swing state.
Battleground state or the Scott Walker bump … in any event Barack Obama now behind in a state that he won by 14% in the 2008 Presidential election.
For the first time in the Rasmussen poll Mitt Romney has a lead in the Wisconsin polls. Romney leads 47% to Obama’s 44%. This poll follows the failed labor union and Democrat recall election to oust Republican Gov. Scott Walker from office. Last month, the poll numbers were Obama 49%, Romney 45% and in March Obama was up by 11%. One also has to wonder just how much union support Obama will receive in the 2012 campaign in Wisconsin when he all but abandoned them during the recall election?
Mitt Romney now leads President Obama for the first time in Wisconsin where the president’s support has fallen to its lowest level to date.
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Romney with 47% of the vote to Obama’s 44%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
How difficult will reelection be for Barack Obama? When Obama wins a state like Wisconsin in 2008 by 14% and is now behind in a respected poll, Team Obama has to take pause for concern. If Wisconsin is in play, one has to wonder what other states are as well? As stated at Powerline, their “guess is that this is not the last formerly-safe for Obama state that will be in play between now and November.” Agreed!
If Obama loses Wisconsin in 2012 Romney will win going away as other states will fall like Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia and possibly Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Gallup: Barack Obama’s 2008 White Base Shows Cracks … Down 5 Points … Obama Trending Down with Jews & Union Membership as Well
Even more bad polling data for President Barack Obama …
The latest Gallup poll shows that Barack Obama has a problem with his White base in 2012.As Obama plays class and race warfare in the 2012 election, the dirty little secret is that it was “white” America that voted Obama into office. However, that was then and this is now. Polls show that Obama is down 6% with non-Hispanic whites and even down 4% with non-Hispanic blacks. What is rather remarkable is that Obama is trending down with pretty much every demographic in 2012 as compared to 2008.
Gallup Daily tracking indicates Barack Obama is receiving less support in the 2012 presidential election from some of the white subgroups that gave him the strongest support in 2008. These include non-Hispanic white registered voters who are 18 to 29 years old, female postgrads, and the nonreligious, among others.
Obama Down Five Percentage Points Among All Voters
The 46% of registered voters supporting Obama today is five percentage points below the 51% supporting him in final weeks of the 2008 election campaign. Similarly, whites’ support for Obama is six points lower than it was in October/November 2008 (38% vs. 44%), and blacks’ is down four points (87% vs. 91%). At the same time, Hispanics’ support, at 67%, is essentially unchanged.
Whites make up about three-quarters of all U.S. registered voters, and are therefore the most important racial or ethnic group in any election, at least mathematically.

Tar Heel Trouble … President Barack Obama Losing Support Among Black Voters in North Carolina
Romney receives 20% of Black vote!!!
In 2008 Presidential election Barack Obama received 95% of the black vote in North Carolina. However, that was then, this is now. This is no Fox News poll or Rasmussen as the Left would be so quick to come out with. Its a PPP poll … yikes! According to a recent Left leaning PPP poll, Mitt Romney garnered 20% of the black vote, while Obama only received 76%. That’s it, 76%? Is that really possible? Did Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage and upsetting pastors of black churches following the North Carolina primaries and the passage a constitutional ban on such unions really have had that much of an effect? In PPP’s May poll, Obama received 87% of the African-American vote to Romney’s 11%. .
Barack Obama reading the latest PPP poll
President Barack Obama is rapidly losing support among African-American voters in North Carolina, a new poll out today from the Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling shows.
The poll finds that Mitt Romney would get 20 percent of the African-American vote if the election were held today, compared with 76 percent for Obama. Overall, Romney has a 48 percent to 46 percent lead on Obama in the crucial swing state.
The Obama polling slide has been a trend in North Carolina. Mitt Romney has surged into the lead in the ‘Tar Heal’ state including leading in the all important independent vote. One has to wonder if Obama will struggle in other Southern states with blacks? Could African-Americans be tired of Obama’s promises of jobs and no action? Under Obama blacks have had the highest unemployment rate in 27 years. If Obama only gets 76% of the black vote in key swing states, he is finished.
One thing is certain … There will be no great enthusiasm for Obama in 2012. The record number of voters to the polls for Obama will be a thing of the past.
