Barack Obama’s Worst 10 Days of Poltical Career … The One Comes Home Empty Handed with ‘Bupkis’
The Obamamessiah comes home from his “get out of Dodge” trip overseas empty handed …
If there was any doubt following the 2010 midterm election shellacking that the Democrats took on November 2 that the Obama bloom was off the rose, it was confirmed by his overseas unmitigated disaster trip following the midterm tsunami. The once crowned prince Obamamessiah comes back from his trip pretty much empty handed.
After watching his party take a beating in the midterm elections, Obama wasn’t able to secure even a symbolic victory on a trip that was expected to give him plenty of opportunities to claim a win.
“This certainly was the worst 10 days of his political life,”said Baruch College political scientist Doug Muzzio. “Given that he’s not going to be able to get any domestic achievements with the Republicans in control of the House … if he doesn’t do it in foreign policy that’s a big problem for him.
“He came back with bupkis [Yiddish for 'nothing'].”
Obama’s inauspicious 10-day, four-nation trip included a failure to land an anticipated slam dunk free trade agreement with South Korea.
It also included a botched effort to rally Western allies to press China to budge on a monetary policy that threatens to keep the U.S. economy in the tank.
Is it any wonder why Obama has a -16 Daily Presidential Presidential Index and a -7% jobs approval rating.
As stated at Weasel Zippers regarding the “Empty Suit” in Chief with an accompanying most appropriate picture, the Obama ship is continuing to take on water and sink.
It’s official, Obama’s policies have been rejected in the United States as witnessed by the shellacking taken during the 2010 midterm election and rejected overseas. Obama’s trip overseas is looked upon as a failure as The One struck out looking. Obama claimed that this trip over seas was not to escape the aftermath of the political carnage of the midterm elections, but instead to “to bring jobs to the United States”. His trip has become what his presidency has also become … a total failure.

Barack Obama Said What … Nancy Pelosi “will go down in history as one of the finest speakers in the United States of America.”
President Barack Hussein Obama said what?
At a campaign rally in Minnesota, President Obama praised Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as follows and that she “will go down in history as one of the finest speakers in the United States of America.”Are you serious? No wonder Obama gives himself a passing grade on being President, by his comments regarding Pelosi, he is delusional.
He praised Pelosi, saying she “will go down in history as one of the finest speakers in the United States of America.”
This is the message that Obama wants to tell voters with almost one week to go before the 2010 midterm election? Nancy Pelsoi is supposed to be a great Speaker who had an overwhelming majority of Democrats in the US House and struggled, threatened and intimidated House members to pass the Obama liberal/socialist agenda. If she is such a great Speaker why have so many in her own party stated they would not vote for her again if democrats actually retained the House in 2010.
Also, how is one supposed to be one of the finest Speakers of the House who has a 29% approval rating? More and more people have an negative view of Nancy Pelosi. After all, in many respects she is looked upon as the post child for partisanship and the comment she made regarding Obamacare where, we have to psss the health care bill to find out what is in it.
Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s favorable rating is down seven percentage points since May to 29%, a new low for her since assuming the top congressional post.
Pelosi’s ratings were 2-to-1 positive, 44% to 22%, when she first assumed the speakership in January 2007, but they became closely divided by March of that year and remained so in November 2008. Views became more negative than positive for the first time in the first half of 2009, …Spanning the period these issues were in the news, her favorable rating fell from 42% to 32%. Pelosi’s favorable rating recovered slightly in the first half of 2010 to 36%, but it has since tumbled to the new low.
After the 2010 midterm election, Nancy Pelsoi will be relegated to minority status and might just be the emphasis to have her retire from politics altogether.

Gallup Poll has Unemployment at 10% … Oh That Obama Job Recovery
Two weeks before the 2010 midterm elections and Gallup says unemployment at 10%. Next month’s unemployment report might be even worse than the present one. Wonder why you hear Obama and Democrats with political rhetoric and attack ads against Republicans, they certainly cannot run on the merits of job recovery, the economy or votes for the stimulus.
Unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, is at 10.0% in mid-October — essentially the same as the 10.1% at the end of September but up sharply from 9.4% in mid-September and 9.3% at the end of August. This mid-month measurement confirms the late September surge in joblessness that should be reflected in the government’s Nov. 5 unemployment report.
The decline in part-time workers wanting full-time work has led to a situation in which underemployment is declining even as unemployment is increasing. The 18.6% mid-October underemployment figure (the sum of the 10.0% unemployed and the 8.6% employed part time but wanting full-time work) is down slightly from 18.8% at the end of September and is the same as the reading in the middle of last month. …

Gallup & Rasmussen: Republicans Up Big With Likely Voters over Democrats & GOP More Trusted on Issues Ahead of 2010 Midterm Election
So much for all the hype and spin from Democrats and the MSM that they were catching up with enthusiasm gap with Republicans. Obama’s campaign rhetoric falls flat with the voters. Obama is in for a long midterm election eve.
It must be my message … maybe I can blame the teleprompter!
According to the most recent Gallup poll, with just two weeks to go before the 2010 midterm elections,Democrats have not cut into the GOP lead and in fact Republicans have an overwhelming 17% point lead among likely voters. With Republicans with such large leads in the generic Congressional ballot, there are going to be many surprises election eve as House races that no one thought would be Democrats losses are going to be pick ups for Republicans
For Republicans to lead, or even be at parity with Democrats, on the generic congressional ballot indicates they are in a good position to win a majority of House seats in the upcoming elections. This is because of Republicans’ typical advantage in voter turnout, which in recent years has given that party an average five-point boost in support on Election Day.
If the elections were held today and roughly 40% of voters turned out — a rate typical in recent years — Gallup’s Oct. 7-17 polling suggests Republicans would win 56% of the vote — 8 points greater than their support from registered voters, and 17 points ahead of Democrats, at 39%. If turnout is significantly higher, Republicans would receive 53% of the vote (a 5-point improvement over their registered-voter figure), and the Democrats, 42%.
As Jammie Wearing Fool asks, how’s all that Barack Obama campaigning working out for you Democrats? Wasn’t Barack & Michelle Obama to the rescue supposed to stem the tide? America wants change and its not Obama or Democrats.
To make matters even worse for Democrats, Rasmussen has the GOP with a 9% lead over Democrats in the Generic Congressional ballot. Oh wait, it gets even worse, Republicans trusted on 8 of the top 10 political issues of the day including the economy, health care, illegal immigration, taxes and national security. Um, Democrats polled higher of ethics? Voters, wake up … did you miss the fact that Pelosi & the democrats pushed off the ethics hearings regarding the scandals of Democrats Charlie Rangel and Maxine Waters until after the election?
This is shaping up to be a historic night for Republicans.

2010 Midterm Election: Obama Thinks the Pundits Are Wrong, Gallup Says Republicans Up Big Over Democrats
The 2010 midterm election is almost upon us and more bad polling numbers for Democrats …
President Barack Obama went away from his scripted speech and teleprompter and stammered his way through comments to Democrats at the Philly rally and said, “I … I … I … I … think the pundits are wrong …” However, Obama could never be more wrong. The polling is breaking toward the GOP and as the Gay Patriot states, it’s not Rasmussen, it is Gallup! Interestingly enough the Gallup poll, as reported at The Hill, seems more certain that the GOP is not losing steam with the American likely voters, in fact they might be gaining momentum.
From The Hill,
The GOP kept its healthy lead over Democrats in both high and low turnout scenarios in Gallup’s weekly test of likely voters’ preference between the two parties.
Fifty-six percent of likely voters said they would back an unnamed Republican candidate for Congress in a test of a low-turnout scenario for the crucial midterm elections. Thirty-nine percent in that same model said they would back a Democratic candidate, an increase by one percent over last week.
In Gallup’s high-turnout model, Republicans maintain a 53-41 percent advantage among likely voters. That also represented a one percent tick upward in support for Democrats.
The poll suggests that the GOP hasn’t lost any steam in its bid to pick up 39-plus seats they need in the House to reclaim the majority. Democrats have claimed that support for Republican candidates has peaked, and that they’re primed to make inroads into support for the GOP, though Gallup’s weekly effort to track the generic ballot suggests that any Democratic gains have been marginal at best.
I guess we now know why liberal finacier George Soros predicts a Republican avalanche.
