Did VP Joe Biden Just Say We are in a Depression, What Happened to the Obama Recovery … Millions and Millions of Americans Are in Depression”

This one is going to leave a mark. I hardly think that President Barack Obama wanted his Veep Biden to remind Americans that “Millions and Millions of Americans Are in Depression.” When trying to control the message, using the “D” word is hardly a wise thing to do for an incumbent Presidential administration.

Vice President Biden just said what Americans already know, there has been no job recovery and to millions of Americans, they are still in a depression. Gee Joe, what happened to the Obama job recovery that you were supposed to lead? What happened to all that stimulus money for those shovel ready jobs? Is Biden and Obama just figuring out that millions and millions of Americans are without jobs? Who is out of touch?

Vice President Joe Biden today offered a blunt assessment of the plight of the unemployed, telling supporters at a campaign rally in Iowa that the economy remains “a depression for millions and millions of Americans.”

“The unemployed are in real trouble,” Biden said in a speech on the banks of the Mississippi River in Dubuque.  “My grandpa used to say, from Scranton, he’d say, ‘Joe, when the guy in Dunmore…is out of work, it’s an economic slowdown. When your brother-in-law is out of work, it’s a recession. When you’re out of work, it’s a depression.’”

“It’s a depression for millions and millions of Americans,” he said.

To make matters worse, as pointed out by the Weekly Standard, Biden ripped off the tag line of his speech from former President Ronald Regan. Isn’t that something that his grandpa said the same thing as Reagan. The only thing that Biden should have said was that A RECOVERY IS WHEN BARACK OBAMA LOSES HIS JOB.

“The unemployed are in real trouble,” Biden said. “My grandpa used to say, from Scranton, he’d say, ‘Joe, when the guy in Dunmore – the next town over – when the guy in Dunmore is out of work, it’s an economic slowdown. When your brother-in-law is out of work, it’s a recession. When you’re out of work, it’s a depression. It’s a depression for millions and millions of Americans.”

But the last bit is particularly curious since it sounds an awful lot like something President Ronald Reagan said.

“A recession is when your neighbor loses his job,” Reagan said during the 1980 presidential campaign. “A depression is when you lose yours. And recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.”

Fast & Furious Stonewalling, Obamacare looking Unconstitutional, Failing Economy & Middle East on the Brink … Barack Obama Golfs for 101st time of Presidency

101 and counting …

President Barack Hussein Obama celebrated the Muslin Brotherhood’s Presidential victory in Egypt today with yet another round of golf. This will make Obama’s 101st round of golf since he took office. Millions of Americans are unemployed, the parents of Brian Terry are looking for answer as to their son’s death in connect with ‘Fast & Furious’ and wonder why Obama evoked executive privilege, a majority of American hope that the SCOTUS declares Obamacare Unconstitutional and the Middle East was turned on its ear today with the victory of the Muslim Brotherhood candidate in Egypt. All this, but it did not deter Obama from playing golf.

President Obama waited for the temperature to cool just a bit before heading to the golf course on Sunday.

Obama is golfing at the Fort Belvoir course, according to a White House pool report. The president is golfing with White House chef Sam Kass, staffer Mike Brush and White House trip director Marvin Nicholson, a frequent golf partner of Obama’s.

The temperature at the course is a steamy 89 degrees but a slight breeze makes it feel a little cooler, according to the Weather Channel. Washington is in the midst of a heat wave, with temperatures hitting 100 degrees on Thursday.

This will be the president’s 101st round of golf since entering office according to a count kept by CBS News’s Mark Knoller. He was last on the course on Father’s Day.

Funny, I waited for the temperature to cool off a bit, like millions of Americans to cut the grass. Who is out of touch with the American people?

Unemployed and Uninspired Youth Vote Abandoning Barack Obama in 2012 as Compared to the 2008′s Hope & Change Vote (VIDEO)

Look what happens when college kids are promised the world then graduate only to find themselves with no job with no hope to get one.

What a difference four years makes. The enthusiasm of the youth vote, age 18 to 29, from 2008 that helped Barack Obama win election is down dramatically in 2012. In the 2008 Presidential election Obama outdistanced John McCain 66% to 32% with the Youth vote. However, according to a recent Fox News poll only 55% of the youth vote is for Obama and 31% for Mitt Romney. The 10 percentage point drop in the youth vote can only be described by Democrats as one thing … racism.

As reported at The Blaze, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Saturday the young people who turned out in droves to vote Barack Obama into office were promised  “pie in the sky” — but what they got was “pie in the face.”

“A lot of these kids who were all excited about Barack Obama four years ago either got out of college or they’re in college now,” Huckabee said during Fox News’ “Fox & Friends Weekend.“ ”What they’re finding, they’re $45,000 on average in student debt when they got out of school and they can‘t get a job and they’re moving back in with mom and dad. That’s not exactly the hope and the change they were looking for.”

He said those voters wouldn’t necessarily break for Romney — more likely, they’ll just stay home.

“But if they stay home, that’s devastating for Barack Obama. He has to have that youth vote,” Huckabee said.

It’s not just the Fox News poll that shows that Obama has lost his mojo with the youth vote, but also with a recent national survey of young voters taken by Hiram College’s Garfield Institute for Public Leadership. This poll shows that Obama has lost 7% with young voters and an even more surprising piece of data gleamed form the poll is that its a 43%-43% tie as to who they think is better suited to strengthen the economy and create jobs.

The June poll shows President Obama’s support has dropped significantly since both the 2008 Presidential campaign and this January.

President Obama is preferred by 50 percent of voters age 18-29. Mitt Romney is the choice of 37 percent.

Young voters are evenly divided on whether the President and Democrats or Romney and Republicans have more ability to strengthen the economy and create jobs, 43% to 43%.

The result is that the young voters might just stay home that would be devastating to Barack Obama’s reelection chances.

Talk About Your Metaphors … Barack Obama Trips on His Way to Podium in Tampa, FL to Pander to Voters

What can only be described as a metaphor of the Barack Obama 2012 campaign, Obama trips while running up to the podium at a Tampa, FL event as he is about to once again pander to voters. Obama’s campaign has been stumbling as they certainly cannot run on their record for the past 3+ years, they now politically trip over themselves daily whether its in regards to the economy, the 8.2% unemployment, the lack of job growth, false claims of GOP war on women, the Fast & Furious scandal and coming next week … the Supreme Courts ruling on Obamacare.

Rasmussen: Barack Obama Only Polling Just 35% of White Voters, Down 8 Points from 43% of the White Vote in 2008 Election

More bad polling data for President Barack Obama. It would appear that White voters are abandoning the Obamamessiah and are no longer buying into “Hope & Change”. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, Barack Obama is just getting 35% of the white vote as opposed to the43% he garnered in the 2008 Presidential election. Making matters worse, Obama is back to a -22%  Presidential Approval Index, with 23% strongly approving and 45% strongly disapproving.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting 48% of the vote, while President Obama earns 43%. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and another three percent (3%) are undecided.

The president picks up support from just 35% of white voters overall. That’s eight points below the 43% of the white vote he won in 2008. Among white Democrats, 17% currently plan to vote for Romney.

Our analysis that this is not a black and white issue as the MSM and Democrats would lead everyone to believe. The fall of 8 percentage points by Obama among white voters is because of his policies, agenda and poor leadership in turning the US economy around from the recession. Unemployment is still at 8.2% and millions of Americans have dropped out of the workforce all together. However, if we were to believe that anyone who is against Obama is a racist, that would mean that since 2008 that 8% of whites have become racists. A better analysis probably is that since black voters are a monolithic voting block that the super majority of whites are likely considered Independents and it is those folks that went for Obama in ’08 and now have changed their minds in 2012.
