The Bain of Obama’s Economic, Presidential Existence: Romney Preferred by 2 to 1 Margin over Obama to Handle the Economy …
The “Bain” of Barack Obama’s economic existence …
Try as Obama might, but his attack ads against Mitt Romney’s business record and Bain Capital have failed miserably. Obama has spent millions of dollars on negative ads trying to smear Mitt Romney and it did little to nothing. Much like Obama’s presidency, the Obama ads have been an epic fail.
The economy, job creation and unemployment are the number one issue fir the upcoming 2012 Presidential election. According to the most recent USA TODAY/Gallup Poll, Mitt Romney is preferred over Obama 63% to 29% in handling the economy. Even more amazing is that those surveyed say Mit Romney’s background in business, including his time at the private equity firm Bain Capital, makes Romney capable of making good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the economy. So much for Obama’s trivial and petty political ads against Romney and Bain Capital that have proved to be misrepresentations. American know better, they are more concerned with the economy, not attack ads from a failed President.
Despite concerted Democratic attacks on his business record, Republican challenger Mitt Romney scores a significant advantage over President Obama when it comes to managing the economy, reducing the federal budget deficit and creating jobs, a national USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds.
By more than 2-1, 63%-29%, those surveyed say Romney’s background in business, including his tenure at the private equity firm Bain Capital, would cause him to make good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the nation’s economic problems over the next four years.
The findings raise questions about Obama’s strategy of targeting Bain’s record in outsourcing jobs and hammering Romney for refusing to commit to releasing more than two years of his tax returns. Instead, Americans seem focused on the economy, where disappointment with the fragile recovery and the 8.2% unemployment rate are costing the president.
Powerline discusses a point that many have pondered, including us at Scared Monkeys … how on earth is Barack Obama above water, tied in the Presidential polls or even close when there is just one disastrous poll after another stating that no one trusts him with the economy? Ultimately, the answer is that the polls are probably not as close as the vote will be in November. When give a choice of 4 more years of the nightmare of Obama and a change to bring back American exceptionalism, the voters will go against Obama.

The Hill Poll: Majority of voters Blame President Barack Obama for Bad Economy and Not Bush
President Barack Obama in serious reelection trouble as Americans now blame him and not GWB for the bad economy. The economy belongs to Obama.
According to a recent Hill poll, a majority of Americans overwhelming blame Washington, DC for the bad economy as opposed to private financial institutions and they blame President Barack Obama the most. Wow, what is Obama to do, you mean he is actually going to have to own the economy? It appears that the 2012 Presidential election will be a referendum on Obama’s handling of the economy.
But its Bush’s fault
Two-thirds of likely voters say the weak economy is Washington’s fault, and more blame President Obama than anybody else, according to a new poll for The Hill.
It found that 66 percent believe paltry job growth and slow economic recovery is the result of bad policy. Thirty-four percent say Obama is the most to blame, followed by 23 percent who say Congress is the culprit. Twenty percent point the finger at Wall Street, and 18 percent cite former President George W. Bush.
The results highlight the reelection challenge Obama faces amid dissatisfaction with his first-term performance on the economy.
Don’t look now, but the blame Bush mantra is no longer working. After 3+ years in office, the America people now blame President Obama more than they do former President George W. Bush for the bad economy.
Who is most to blame for America’s economic woes during the past few years:
President Obama 34%
President Bush 18%
Congress 23%
Financial institutions & corporations 20%
Full poll results can be seen HERE.

The United States of Poverty: Thanks to Barack Obama & Obamanomics, US Poverty on Track to Rise to Highest Since 1960′s
The United States of Poverty … How’s the “Hopey, Changey” thing working out for ya America?
Welcome to an Obamanation and thanks to Obamanomics the United States poverty rate is on track to reach its highest level since the 19060′s. According to the US census, 46 million men woman and children live in poverty, that’s 1 in 6 Americans. Simply shameful. How do we have a country and a President who would rather golf, vacation and fund raise rather than meet with his Jobs Council and make every effort to help Americans with jobs? Before anyone decides to question that fact, PolitiFact rates it as a fact: Golf, fundraisers for President Barack Obama, while his jobs council never met
The Associated Press surveyed more than a dozen economists, think tanks and academics, both nonpartisan and those with known liberal or conservative leanings, and found a broad consensus: The official poverty rate will rise from 15.1 percent in 2010, climbing as high as 15.7 percent. Several predicted a more modest gain, but even a 0.1 percentage point increase would put poverty at the highest level since 1965.
Poverty is spreading at record levels across many groups, from underemployed workers and suburban families to the poorest poor. More discouraged workers are giving up on the job market, leaving them vulnerable as unemployment aid begins to run out. Suburbs are seeing increases in poverty, including in such political battlegrounds as Colorado, Florida and Nevada, where voters are coping with a new norm of living hand to mouth.
This president has destroyed America. The unemployment rate is at 8.2%, the real unemployment rate is 15%, record number of Americans on Food Stamps and more Americans last month went on disability than jobs created.
The Obama Job Recovery: Unemployment Rises in 27 States Including 6 Battle Ground States in June
When all is said and done, unemployment will eventually sink Obama’s reelection in 2012 …
As much as President Barack Obama wants to avoid the primary issue of the 2012 elections, there is no way he can hide the fact that the economy has stalled and going backwards. The Obama job recovery has been a failure and has hit the skids at the worst possible time for Obama’s reelection bid. In June 27 states saw their unemployment rate rise. Worse yet for Obama, unemployment rates rose in six of ten battleground states. According to the Department of Labor, the jobless rate climbed a 10th of a percentage point last month in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Iowa, New Hampshire and Virginia.
Unemployment rates rose in 27 states last month, the most in almost a year.
The Labor Department said Friday that unemployment rates fell in 11 states and Washington, D.C. — the fewest declines since August. Rates were unchanged in 12 states.
Nationwide, employers added only 80,000 jobs last month, third straight month of weak job growth. The national unemployment rate stayed at 8.2%.
Some of the states that saw a decline:
- Nevada recorded the highest unemployment rate, at 11.6%, same as the previous month.
- It was followed by Rhode Island at 10.9% and California at 10.7%
- North Dakota had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.9%, followed by Nebraska at 3.8%
- Several states reported big increases in unemployment. Rates rose 0.4 percentage points in Alabama and New Jersey, to 7.8% and 9.6%, respectively.
- Still others lost jobs. Wisconsin shed 13,200, the most of any state. It was followed by Tennessee, where employers cut 12,100 jobs.
What else could one expect but poor economic jobs numbers when you have a President who failed to meet with his much touted Jobs Council in the last six months, yet has time for fundraiser and golf? Retail sales fell in June for the third straight month as well.

The Lying King: Barack Obama Says He “Spends Every Waking Hour” Fighting For You … When He is not Playing Golf, Vacationing & Fund Raising
The Lying King, Part Deux …
President Barack Obama told an audience yesterday that he spends every waking hour fighting for them. He would think about them and fight for you. Seriously, every waking moment Mr. President? First of all this is a lie; second, no one cares if you are thinking about them, people want results.
A lot good his so-called spending every day fighting for America has done, yesterday’s new jobless claims jumped sharplylast week to 386,000, an increase of 34,000 in initial jobless claims from the previous week.
Barack Obama was so consumed thinking about Americans every waking moment and the terrible jobs situation and high unemployment that when his White House Press Secretary was asked why he and his Jobs Council had not met is six months, the response was, “he had too much on his plate”. Actually, the real answer is that Obama had attended 89-100 fundraisers where people paid $40,000 a plate.
Every moment thinking of you …
Or maybe Obama was contemplating the plight of the American people during his 101 rounds of golf? Or how about those multitude of vacations, he was obviously very concerned and thinking of those Americans not able to take vacations.
Yup, every waking moment fighting for you America …
The Gateway Pundit has many more examples of Barack Obama’s “Spending Every Waking Hour” Fighting For You .
President Obama, please stop insulting us with your dribble. You have spent every waking moment doing two things, ramming Obamacare down the throats of Americans and trying to get reelected.
