UK Telegraph gets it Right: So Why Does President Obama keeps the MSM at a Distance … Because Playing Golf with Tiger Woods Doesn’t Look Good with 12 Million Americans Unemployed & a $16 Trillion Debt

Why does it take a media outlet outside the United States to get it right when it comes to Barack Obama?

From the UK Telegraph comes the  following explanation as to why President Barack Obama kept the press away while he played golf with Tiger Woods over this past President’s Day weekend. Maybe it is because Barack Obama and his handlers  hardly want the images of a 1% president playing golf and living the life of Riley while 12 million individuals are unemployed, a $16 trillion debt, gas prices at record highs, record number of Americans on food stamps and a jobs market that continues to flounder. All this while President Emperor Obama golfs plays the fiddle. The Politico reports that W.H. press corps expressed ’Extreme frustration’ over ‘having absolutely no access’ to Obama. However, one would ask of the W.H. press corps that when you do have access, why don’t you actually ask tough questions and hold this president and his failed polices to the fire rather than the softball questions and acting as his propaganda machine?

Shhh, don’t tell anyone that I am really more of an elitist 1% than Mitt Romney ever was …

Isn’t it amazing that the only time that Barack Obama took time off from golfing was to run for reelection. Says a lot about the individual on this President’s Day, doesn’t it? Where are the MSM outlets reporting that story? It is quite amazing that Obama does nothing but divide Americans with class warfare is actually part of the very people he wants those who vote for him to hate.

Barack Obama has kept the press well away this President’s Day (Washington’s Birthday) weekend (hat tip: Drudge Report) as he golfs with Tiger Woods in Florida. As Politico’s Dylan Byers writes:

Ed Henry, the Fox News correspondent and president of the White House Correspondents Association, released a statement Sunday evening in which he said the press corps had been given no access to the president, who was joined on his outing by star golfer Tiger Woods, and that the WHCA would fight for greater transparency in the days ahead.

“Speaking on behalf of the White House Correspondents Association, I can say a broad cross section of our members from print, radio, online and TV have today expressed extreme frustration to me about having absolutely no access to the President of the United States this entire weekend,” Henry said in a statement, relayed in a White House pool report. “There is a very simple but important principle we will continue to fight for today and in the days ahead: transparency.”

EXIT QUESTION: For the 99%, how many of you would be going mental if Mitt Romney had been taking yet another vacation on the tax payers dime with all of the dismal economic conditions presently going on in America? How come you do not hold Obama’s feet to the fire? You have a 1% president in office and you are too embarrassed and hypocritical to admit it.

Ray’s Hell-Burger and its sister restaurant, Ray’s Hell-Burger Too, are closing their doors forever. The burger joints, who have been frequented by the likes of President Barack Obama and Joe Biden, are closing up shop for failure to pay rent. The iconic DC burger restaurants came to even greater prominence in 2009 when both Obama and Biden, two average Joe’s came to the burger joint for some non-approved Michelle Obama burgers. Add another two businesses and their employees to the long list of Obama’s reverse job recovery. Get ready to add some more to the Obama unemployment list.

One of the D.C. area’s iconic burger joints is no more. Ray’s Hell-Burger, where the likes of President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and the Russian president have gone for a juicy burger, has been shut down after failing to pay its rent. Arlington County General District Court on Feb. 8 served an eviction notice to the restaurant, located in the Colonial Village Shopping Center along Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, for unpaid rent and ordered owner Michael Landrum to pay more than $39,000 in overdue rent and damages.

This morning on FOX News Sunday, former Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told Chris Wallace “it was almost a false argument to say the US has a spending problem.” That is correct, San Fran Nan actually said that the US did not have a spending problem. She not only said it once, she said it twice. Yea, no spending problem, that’s why the federal deficit has been over a trillion dollars every year since Obama has been in office. Could some one explain to me how these people are elected?

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Sunday called sequestration “a bad idea all around” and urged a balance of spending cuts and closed tax loopholes to avoid it.

Pelosi rebuffed GOP calls for the sequester replacement to focus exclusively on targeting more spending cuts and entitlement reforms.

“It is almost a false argument to say we have a spending problem. We have a budget deficit problem that we have to address,” she told Fox News’s Chris Wallace on Sunday.

Pelosi added that the deficit and debt are at “immoral levels” and “must be reduced.”

“It isn’t as much a spending problem as much as it is priorities,” she said, arguing that tax subsidies were a better target than additional cuts that could hit programs such as education.

A recent FOX News poll indicated that 83% of Americans think that the federal government has a spending problem. Um, how did Obama win reelection again?  How does Pelosi come up with such an idiotic statement and actually keep a straight face? Could the Botox have finally got to her brain, the Lonely Conservative seems to think so and with all that plastic surgery, it’s rather easy to keep a straight face. BTW House Minority Leader Pelosi, with all the money that we have spent on education, it has failed our children.

January 2013 Unemployment Rate Increases to 7.9% … Welcome to the Continued Obama Jobless Recovery

2013 starts off with the same pathetic, ho-hum economic jobs data as 2012 ended. The economy adds another yawn 157,000 jobs in January as the unemployment rate ticks up to 7.9%. Get used to it America, you are the ones who reelected Barack Obama and his failed economic policies. Did you expect things to change with regards to jobs when you reelected that same failed policies and agenda? Welcome to the jobless Obama recovery. How can anyone expect job growth to change when we have a president who believes in increasing taxes and over-regulating business? So is Obama and his minions going to still blame George W. Bush? No, they will blame House Republicans for the next four years. They will find blame with anyone, except Barack Obama.

Obama is laughing at you America for reelecting him

The new year started off with an old story: Employment grew again in January but not at a pace able to lower the jobless rate.

Nonfarm payrolls rose 157,000 for the first month of 2013 while the unemployment rate edged higher to 7.9 percent, news unlikely to alter the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy or instill confidence that the recovery is gaining steam.

Economists were looking for 160,000 net new jobs created with the unemployment rate holding steady at 7.8 percent.

The ho-hum jobs numbers for January were accompanied by substantial revisions higher for previous months, according to the report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The number of unemployed persons, at 12.3 million, was little changed in January. The
unemployment rate was 7.9 percent and has been at or near that level since September 2012.
(See table A-1.) (See the note and tables B and C for information about annual population
adjustments to the household survey estimates.)

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (7.3 percent), adult
women (7.3 percent), teenagers (23.4 percent), whites (7.0 percent), blacks (13.8 percent),
and Hispanics (9.7 percent) showed little or no change in January. The jobless rate for
Asians was 6.5 percent (not seasonally adjusted), little changed from a year earlier.

Just yesterday the Labor Department stated that the weekly initial claims for state unemployment benefits increased 38,000 to 368,000. Of course this was coupled with Obama ending his failed Jobs Council that met four times in two years. Just curious, do the members of this joke of a Council considered lost jobs? Obama’s minions actually have the nerve to tout this group as a success because the unemployment rate has come down in the past two years. Of course this fails to address the issue that millions of Americans have simply left the work force.

Barack Obama’s Incredible Shrinking US Economy, GDP Contracts to 0.1% in 4th Qtr of 2012 … Rick Santelli States, “We are Now Europe”

President Barack Obama, his minions and the complicit corrupt liberal media complex would have you believe the economy is getting better, even when it is not. Yesterday’s job report showed the stunning revelation that the US economy actually shrunk in the 4th quarter of 2012. As reported at CNBC, the economy shrank to a pathetic 0.1% in the 4th qtr. But Obama and his mouth pieces would have you believe that everything is A-O-K. In fact some Dems are prasing this as the greatest contraction of GDP ever. Of course it is, because Obama is president and anything bad is spun as good. Welcome to Obamaland.

The economy shrank from October through December for the first time since the recession ended, hurt by the biggest cut in defense spending in 40 years, fewer exports and sluggish growth in company stockpiles.

The Commerce Department said Wednesday that the economy contracted at an annual rate of 0.1 percent in the fourth quarter. That’s a sharp slowdown from the 3.1 percent growth rate in the July-September quarter.

One individual who has been honest and upfront about President Obama’s disastrous economic policies and the dismal state of affairs in the United States is CNBC’s Rick Santelli. Following the terrible economic report, Santelli stated on CNC’s Squawk Box, “We are now Europe.”

Hey Joe,” Santelli said, “when you act like Europe, you get growth rates like Europe, and our discussions with economists sounds like we’re in Europe. They have the same discussions constantly.”

“They’re always doing the right thing,” he continued. “They’re always thinking they know better. And this is the kind of growth. We have become Europe. We are now Europe.”

Steve Liesman pushed back, “We reduced federal spending, government spending by 15 percent. Which part of that’s not Europe don’t you get?”

“And why do we need to reduce government spending?” asked Santelli. “Because we run trillion dollar deficits for crying out loud.”
