Obama Administration Changing the Obamacare Rules Again … Extending the ObamaCare Enrollment Deadline for People with Pre-Existing Conditions

I thought President Barack Obama and Democrats said that Obamacare was settled law?

The Hill is reporting that the Obama administration is once again changing the rules of Obamacare and extending the deadline of Obamacare enrollment for individuals with pre-existing conditions. The deadline was supposed to end on January 31; however, it has now arbitrarily been extended to March 15. Making matters worse, the original dead line was supposed to be December 31. Hmm, did Congress pass some form of amendment to Obamacare allowing such a change? I thought Democrats said this was settled law? It is hardly anything but as provisions within the law have been continually changed from what was initially passed in a partisan Democrat vote. Hmm, didn’t HHS Sec. Sebelius say that there would be no more delays?

The Obama administration announced Tuesday that it was again extending the ObamaCare enrollment deadline for people with pre-existing conditions.

The administration said it will extend the Pre-Existing Conditions Insurance Plan (PCIP), slated to end January 31, until March 15.

“As part of our continuing effort to help smooth consumers’ transition into Marketplace coverage, we are allowing those covered by PCIP additional time to shop for new coverage while they receive the ongoing care and treatment they need,” Health and Human Services spokeswoman Joanne Peters said in a  statement.

The deadline was originally at the end of December, but last month the administration pushed it back through January because of the problem-plagued HealthCare.gov website.

The new extension is just the latest in a string of unilateral delays the administration has implemented to buy time after the disastrous rollout of HealthCare.gov.

The Obama administration has so far delayed the premium payments deadline, delayed by one week the sign-up date for coverage beginning Jan. 1, pushed back by six weeks the sign-up date for those seeking coverage by April 1, and delayed the second-year enrollment period until after the 2014 elections.

And as we are witness to the current disaster and debacle of Obamacare,  The NY Post is reporting of a soon to be another 25 million more Obamacare victims.

So a conservative estimate is that 25 million people, out of the 60 million in small group plans, get dropped in 2014. Add that to the 5 million or so whose individual-market already canceled on Jan. 1, and you have a lot of losers.

Indeed, it looks like ObamaCare will create twice as many losers as winners in 2014. The Congressional Budget Office projects that 16 million will gain coverage via the law’s Medicaid expansion (9 million) and subsidized exchange plans (7 million) — and even that’s rosier than the enrollment figures we’ve seen so far.

WHO NEEDS CONGRESS SAYS EMPEROR OBAMA: Once again Barack Obama could care less that there is a little thing called a US Constitution or a provision called separation of powers. America, Barack Obama is the president that the Founding Father’s feared when they created a checks and balance of federal powers.

Sadly, it looks like it is going to be more of the same from Barack Obama in 2014 and the remainder of his second term as president.  Obama said that he looked forward to working with Democrats and Republicans. Yeah right, because he has done such a great job working with the GOP in the first 5 years of his administration. There is that little thing called Obamacare that was passed by “ZERO” Republicans in the House or Senate. How’s that working out for you America? Now Obama says in 2014 will be a “year of action” and that he has a pen and a phone. This is a direct reference that he will use executive orders to circumvent the Congressional process of passing laws. 2014 will not be a year of change, it will be the final year that Obama and liberal Democrats can further devastate America before they are slapped down in the midterm elections.

President Barack Obama’s path around Congress will be a pen and phone, he said in remarks before a cabinet meeting Tuesday, affirming his ability to take executive action when Congress blocks his legislative goals.

“So Congress is going to be busy, and I’m looking forward to working with Democrats and Republicans, House members and Senate members, to try to continue to advance the economic recovery and to provide additional ladders of opportunity for everybody,” Obama said. “But one of the things that I’ll be emphasizing in this meeting is the fact that we are not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we’re providing Americans the kind of help that they need. I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone.”

Barack Obama is incapable of communicating with others or presenting his views to Republicans, let alone the Democrats. Now that he is a lame duck president with an approval rating in the low, low 40′s he is toxic and even Democrats will most likely not support his agenda for fear of losing their elections in 2014. Barack Obama thinks he can do anything he damn well pleases and could care less about America, its laws, its political processes or the US Constitution.

Majority of Uninsured Americans Still Lack Knowledge about Obamacare … How is This Possible from the Most Talked About Law Ever?

Clueless in American … Most uninsured Americans lack knowledge about Obamacare.

A recent survey from Enroll America has delivered an almost unbelievable response regarding Obamacare and the lack of knowledge that the uninsured have of the law. According to the survey, 69% of the uninsured still lacked knowledge about tax subsidies and other financial help designed to make Obamacare. How is this possible? Obamacare has been the most talked about, the most marketed government law in history. It is simply uncompromisable to believe that individuals are still claiming to be uninformed regarding Obamacare. It speaks more to the point that maybe they are incapable of understanding it. I guess this is what happens when the uninsured’s find out that Obamacare was not free. Some how I think many will only understand it if some one does it for them.

Most uninsured adult Americans lack basic knowledge about President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law and haven’t visited their online insurance marketplace because they think health insurance is unaffordable, according to a survey released on Thursday.

The survey from Enroll America, a non-profit healthcare enrollment coalition, found that 68 percent of uninsured adults had not yet logged onto their online exchanges.

A similar number, 69 percent of the uninsured, still lacked knowledge about tax subsidies and other financial help designed to make the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, affordable for many, the survey said.

“Large proportions of the uninsured are also still in the dark about deadlines and that brand new plans are available,” Enroll America said in a report about the survey.

“A lack of facts about costs and coverage may be the greatest barriers to enrollment,” it added.

More from Hot Air … Allah Pundit went on to say that “the idea that anyone could be beyond the grasp of a massive presidential education campaign about a splashy new program in the information age is mind-boggling to blog writers and readers, yet here we are.” I could not agree more.

Tax-refund time this year is going to be awfully interesting. Meanwhile, 43 percent of Latinos surveyed said they weren’t aware of Healthcare.gov, which is also partly the White House’s fault and also mind-boggling after three months of relentless media coverage of the site’s problems. The Enroll America topline numbers aren’t wildly different from Gallup’s latest numbers, either. Just a week ago, Gallup reported that only 26 percent of the uninsured had visited an exchange website so far.
