As millions of Americans are out of work, thousands of desperate individuals line up for a job fair, more Americans file for first time unemployment claims,  and the national debt is out of control, but … the completely out of touch President and first lady, Barack and Michelle Obama, show up to Martha’sVineyard on separate planes at an additional cost to American tax payers.

Michelle Obama and President Obama traveled to Martha’s Vineyard just hours apart, costing taxpayers thousands in additional expenses so she could have just a bit of extra vacation time.

Mrs. Obama and her daughters arrived just before 2 pm Thursday on a U.S. government jet, according to the Martha’s Vineyard Times, which got its information from the local airport. The first lady’s office has been silent on her travel. President Obama arrived in the evening along with the family dog Bo.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? America is suffering, Obama talks about sacrifice and yet he and Michelle sacrifice nothing? Why would Michelle Obama and kids need top take a separate flight? Michelle Obama’s solo trip included a flight on a specially designed military aircraft she took instead of Air Force One, any extra staff and Secret Service that had to be enlisted to go with her. She also would also have had her own motorcade from the airport to her vacation residence further inconveniencing others on the Vineyard. Imagine America, Michelle’s sacrifice would have been having to slum it on Air Force One. As Weasel Zippers states, “must be nice”.

Poor Job Approval Continues … Obama’s Weekly Job Approval Average Hits All-Time Low of 40%

The other day President Barack Obama’s daily job approval rating hit an all time low of 39%, now his Gallup weekly job approval average has also hit the skids and an all time low of 40%. America, how’s that “Hopey, Changey” thing working out for you?

President Obama’s job approval rating dropped to 40% during the week spanning Aug. 8-14, the lowest weekly average of his administration. During this period, Obama’s three-day rolling average also hit a new low of 39% for Aug. 11-13, the first such average below 40% since he took office, though it recovered to 41% for Aug. 12-14.

Obama continues to see his job approval ratings underwater.

The difference between comparisons to Reagan and Clinton is that there is nothing positive regarding Barack Obama’s policies, the economy or the President. WOW, HOW THE MIGHTY ONE HAS FALLEN … It was only a matter of time before Barack Obama’s disastrous economic policies and liberal agenda caught up to The One. According to the most recent Gallup poll, Obama is under 40% job approval for the first time in his presidency. To be precise, Obama’s job approval is at 39%, while 54% disapprove. How low can he go?

President Obama’s summer woes have dragged his approval rating to an all-time low, sinking below 40% for the first time in Gallup’s daily tracking poll.

New data posted Sunday shows that 39% of Americans approve of Obama’s job performance, while 54% disapprove. Both are the worst numbers of his presidency.

But Americans’ view of his job performance continued to tick downward as the debt-ceiling debate heated up. By the time he signed legislation averting a federal default, he was mired in the low-40% range.

Oh but wait, Obama bus tour to save the economy and jobs will completely reverse his poll numbers. NOT! Such ridiculous ideas and a President with no plan or answers this far into a presidency is the reason why Barack Obama finds himself with a disastrous job approval. According to RCP averages, Obama on approval of 43.4% and 50.5 disapprove, or a -7.1%.

DESPERATION OF A DOWNGRADED OBAMA PRESIDENT ….

How desperate has President Barack Obama become? Even at a fund raiser with uber-libs is Blue, Blue New York, the Obamamessiah compares himself to Martin Luther King, Jr.  I guess falsely comparing Obama to Lincoln and Reagan was not working. Unbelievable that Obama would even reference his name in the same sentence as MLK Jr. How smug must Obama really be?

What ever happened to the 2008 Barack Obama brand of “Hope & Change”?  Its safe to say that its been shown to be a fraud. The real issue is with Obama is that he has to try and compare himself with some one else, because as Barack Obama he has been a complete and total failure.

Before leaving, Obama likened himself to one more figure. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“I think that we forget when he was alive there was nobody who was more vilified, nobody who was more controversial, nobody who was more despairing at times,” he said.

Obama has done out of his way to implement policies that have failed and continues down the same path of failed polices and agendas. Obama has never been a leader, he was a talker and a campaigner. The unemployment rate continues to be over 9% and the underemployment is at 18.1%. Barack Obama is the first US President to reside over an economy that has had a downgrade of its credit rating.  Add one more notch to Obama’s belt … consumer confidence has dropped to the lowest level in three decades. Not since the Presidency and “MISERY” of  Jimmy Carter has the consumer confidence been so low.

Confidence among U.S. consumers plunged in August to the lowest level since May 1980, adding to concern that weak employment gains and volatility in the stock market will prompt households to retrench.

The Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan preliminary index of consumer sentiment slumped to 54.9 from 63.7 the prior month. The gauge was projected to decline to 62, according to the median forecast in a Bloomberg News survey.

The biggest one-week slump in stocks since 2008 and the threat of default on the nation’s debt may have exacerbated consumers’ concerns as unemployment hovers above 9 percent and companies are hesitant to hire. Rising pessimism poses a risk household spending will cool further, hindering a recovery that Federal Reserve policy makers said this week was already advancing “considerably slower” than projected.

According to a recent Gallup poll, only 8% of Americans think that the economy is good or excellent, while 55% believe its poor. It gets worse, or better if you are Barack Obama … 80% believe the US economy is getting worse, only 16% believe its getting better. That 16% either need their heads examined or root for the total destruction of America.

The numbers on the consumer sentiment index fell to 54.9 in early August, down from 63.7 in July, and the index has fallen for three straight months. Gallup has economic confidence at -56. Thanks Barack Obama.

Unemployment at 9.1 percent of the workforce, low wage rises, and the protracted debate in Congress over raising the U.S. government debt ceiling spooked consumers, survey director Richard Curtin said in a statement.

“Never before in the history of the surveys have so many consumers spontaneously mentioned negative aspects of the government’s role,” Curtin said.

“This was more than the simple recognition that traditional monetary and fiscal policy measures were largely spent. It was the realization that the government was unable or unwilling to act,” Curtin added.

Bad economic times were expected by 75 percent of all consumers in early August, just below the all-time peak of 82 percent in 1980. Buying plans for household durables and vehicles declined in early August, falling back to their recession level lows.

Barack Obama and his policies have crushed the spirit of Americans. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, only 32% say America’s best days are in the future. What inspiration Barack has given us. Is it any wonder why Obama has a -22% Rasmussen Presidential Index and an overall job approval rating of -6.3%.

As the Gateway Pundit states, its Barack Obama’s “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED”. 2012 can not get here fast enough. “We the People” need to take our country and future back in 2012 and throw this clown out of office in resounding and “landslideable” fashion.
