After all these months, we finally learn that President Barack Obama was no where to be found the night that the Consulate was attacked in Benghazi, Libya and four Americans were killed. Is it any wonder why Obama and his complicit MSM did not want to make this an issue prior to the 2012 Presidential elections. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testified on Capitol Hill that President Barack Obama was absent the night four Americans were murdered, including US Ambassador Stevens, in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. They were left on their own.

Panetta said, though he did meet with Obama at a 5 o’clock prescheduled gathering, the president left operational details, including knowledge of what resources were available to help the Americans under siege, “up to us.”

In fact, Panetta says that the night of 9/11, he did not communicate with a single person at the White House. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Obama did not call or communicate in anyway with the defense secretary that night. There were no calls about what was going on in Benghazi. He never called to check-in.

The 5 o’clock meeting was a pre-scheduled 30-minute session, where, according to Panetta’s recollection, they spent about 20 minutes talking a lot about the American embassy that was surrounded in Egypt and the situation that was just unfolding in Benghazi.

Obama was absent as Americans were under assault in a massacre, yet he found time to make a phone call to save his political bacon to defuse a controversy about President Obama’s refusal to meet with Netanyahu two weeks later.

But Obama did have time to make a political call to the Israeli prime minister. “[W]e do know one thing the president found time to do that evening: He placed a call to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in order to defuse a controversy about President Obama’s refusal to meet with Netanyahu two weeks later at the U.N. General Assembly, and, according to the White House announcement that evening, spent an hour on the phone with him,” Kristol wrote.

More from Rush Limbaugh. Barack Obama could hardly seem to be bothered with the massacre that was taking place. How aloof could one possibly be? A US Ambassador is under attack and missing and Obama could really care less. How would the MSM treat this story if a Republican had been president when a US Ambassador was murdered? Does anyone think that maybe they would have covered the story and asked the administration why they are trying to cover up what happened?

PANETTA: He — he basically said, “Do whatever. Do whatever you need to do to be able to protect, uhhh, our people there.” He just left that up to us.

AYOTTE: Did you have any further communications with him that night?

PANETTA: No.

Obama voted “present.” He said, “Nah, you guys do whatever you need to do.” Well, why didn’t anybody do anything then? A Slobbering Quid Pro Quo Love Affair … President Barack Obama Praises Hillary Clinton in “60 Minutes” Interview

SHAMEFUL, SIMPLY SHAMEFUL … This is just one big pukefest between Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the liberal MSM.

Remember when “60 Minutes” was considered investigative journalism? NOT ANY MORE. The liberal MSM does not hide their bias anymore and frankly, they just do not care who knows it. This Sunday, “60 Minutes” will have a lovefest, kumbaya, quid pro quo,  slobbering love affair between President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the MSM. One might as well call it Hillary Clinton’s first endorsement and announce for her 2016 Presidential run. When asked by 60 Minutes host Steve Kroft as to why Obama wanted to do this, the president responded by saying, “Hillary Clinton will go down as one of the finest Secretary of States we’ve had.” The real question is why would “60 Minutes” want to waist their air time with such a puff piece? This isn’t “The View”, or is it? The “60 Minutes” interview is nothing more than an infomercial.

In this softball interview from the sellouts of “60 Minutes”, President Obama does nothing but heap praise on Hillary Clinton. Obama stated, “Hillary Clinton will go down as one of the finest Secretary of States we’ve had.” Huh, really? The present World and US foreign policy been in more chaos? The Middle East is a tinderbox on the verge of exploding, the Arab Spring has been nothing more than a Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda take over, the US relationship with Russia is a mystery and North Korea is as troublesome as it ever has been. The Obama and Clinton lie that al-Qaeda and terrorism is on the run has been just that, a lie.  

How does “60 Minutes” with both Obama and Clinton in one setting not grill them on the murders of four Americans in Benghazi and the subsequent lack of anyone being held accountable including those in the United States and the terrorists in Libya? With both of the so-called people in charge, how come the once proud investigative journalism program did not hold both their feet to the fire and demand questions for “We the People” as to why there was a video lie put forth in Benghazi, why were there no troops sent, why has no one been held accountable, why did the cries of help for more security go heard, and how could four Americans just be left to die without any help?

Obama may seem to think that Hillary is the best Secretary of State ever, Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky would have had her fired.

What a joke, you have the President of the United States, the Secretary of State and the presumed next prime candidate for the Democrat nominee for President and the MSM asks no real questions. From this point forward we can forget about any of the media ever holding a Democrat to accountability.

The whole point of the interview was a complicit, in the tank corrupt liberal  media allowing Obama to pay back Bill Clinton with Obama giving Hillary a ringing endorsement for 2016. The MSM was all too willing to oblige.

Yesterday during the  Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on Benghazi, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) criticized Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. Paul was one of the few that held nothing back and held Hilary Clinton’s feet to the fire for the responsibility, culpability and accountability for the Benghazi terror attacks. During his statements to Clinton Rand Paul stated, “Had I been president and found you did not read the cables from Benghazi and from Ambassador Stevens, I would have relieved you of your post.”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) criticized Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Wednesday during the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing over the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

“I’m glad that you’re accepting responsibility,” said Paul. “I think ultimately with your leaving that you accept the culpability for the worst tragedy since 9/11. And I really mean that.”

“Had I been president and found you did not read the cables from Benghazi and from Ambassador Stevens, I would have relieved you of your post. I think it’s inexcusable,” he said, referencing Clinton’s comments that she had not read all of the documentation surrounding the attack.

“I think we can understand you’re not reading every cable,” Paul said. He added that he didn’t suspect Clinton of “bad motives” but said that it was a “failure of leadership.”

Tunisia Releases Benghazi Attack Suspect Ali Harzi for Lack of Evidense in the Death of Four Americans Including Ambassador Stevens

BENGHAZI JUSTICE … SO HOW’S THAT OBAMA PROMISE FOR JUSTICE GOING?

Ali Harzi, the lone suspect in the Benghazi Consulate terror attack that was responsible for the death of four Americans, including Ambassador Stevens, was released by Tunisia authorities for lack of evidence. According to his attorney, Harzi has been ordered to remain in Tunisia. As reported at the AP, rte release of Ali Harzi, a 26-year-old Tunisian, appears to represent a blow to the investigation of the Sept. 11 attack on the consulate in Libya. It would appear that neither Libya nor Obama wants to get to the truth as to what happened. Both just want this story to go away.

Tunisian authorities have unconditionally released the only suspect they held in custody over the deadly attack on the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi, his lawyer says.

Anwar Oued-Ali said on Tuesday his client, Ali Harzi, was freed on Monday for lack of incriminating evidence but had to remain in the greater Tunis area in case the court needed him, according to the Associated Press.

The release of Harzi, a Tunisian, represents a blow to the investigation of the attack on the consulate, which killed the US ambassador and three other Americans.

The attack coincided with the 11th anniversary of 9/11 assault on the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon.

The investigation in Libya itself has been hamstrung by the weak power of the central government in the face of the powerful militias, some of whom may have been involved in the attack.

So where is Barack Obama’s search for justice now?

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Faints & Suffers Concussion … Conveniently She Will Not Testify Next Week in Benghazi Hearings

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suffered a concussion after fainting due to dehydration from a stomach virus, according to the AP. The 65 year old Secretary of State had earlier skipped an overseas trip due to her illness. She is reported to going to be working from home as per doctors orders next week and not in DC.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who skipped an overseas trip this past week because of a stomach virus, sustained a concussion after fainting, the State Department said Saturday.

The 65-year-old Clinton, who’s expected to leave her job soon, was recovering at home after the incident last week and is being monitored by doctors, according to a statement by aide Philippe Reines.

Conveniently enough, due to these events Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won’t testify to Congress next week on Benghazi. Surprise, surprise, surprise. Is the Obama Administration 4-corners stall fix in on Benghazi? Earlier this week, UN Ambassador Susan Rice withdrew her name from consideration to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. Many feel that she was pressured to once again to fall on her sword to not embarrass Barack Obama on the Benghazi debacle and the obvious poor handling in Benghazi, Libya before, during and after the terror attacks that left four Americans dead. Hillary Clinton’s testimony may not have been a smoking gun, but any more details from the Obama Administration regarding Benghazi is better than nothing.

Ann Althouse is also skeptical of Hillary weaseling out of the Benghazi hearings. Although, this may come back to bite Hillary if she runs in 2016 as she would obvious get a failing grade when the 3 AM call came in.
