Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suffered a concussion after fainting due to dehydration from a stomach virus, according to the AP. The 65 year old Secretary of State had earlier skipped an overseas trip due to her illness. She is reported to going to be working from home as per doctors orders next week and not in DC.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who skipped an overseas trip this past week because of a stomach virus, sustained a concussion after fainting, the State Department said Saturday.
The 65-year-old Clinton, who’s expected to leave her job soon, was recovering at home after the incident last week and is being monitored by doctors, according to a statement by aide Philippe Reines.
Conveniently enough, due to these events Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won’t testify to Congress next week on Benghazi. Surprise, surprise, surprise. Is the Obama Administration 4-corners stall fix in on Benghazi? Earlier this week, UN Ambassador Susan Rice withdrew her name from consideration to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. Many feel that she was pressured to once again to fall on her sword to not embarrass Barack Obama on the Benghazi debacle and the obvious poor handling in Benghazi, Libya before, during and after the terror attacks that left four Americans dead. Hillary Clinton’s testimony may not have been a smoking gun, but any more details from the Obama Administration regarding Benghazi is better than nothing.
Ann Althouse is also skeptical of Hillary weaseling out of the Benghazi hearings. Although, this may come back to bite Hillary if she runs in 2016 as she would obvious get a failing grade when the 3 AM call came in.

Clinton would have some explaining to do regarding her words to Carles Woods’ father … words that cast blame on the producer of that amateur video clip rather than the Islamic murders of his son.

Charles Woods told Larson that at the receiving ceremony in the United States, when his son’s body arrived, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addressed grieving family members and later told Mr. Woods, that she would make sure that the filmmaker behind the “Innocence of Muslims” online video would be “arrested” and “prosecuted.”
“She came over…she talked with me. I gave her a hug and shook her hand and she did not appear to be one bit sincere at all and she mentioned about, ‘We’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video.’,” recalled Mr. Woods. “That was the first time I even heard about anything like that.”

Likely story. Sounds like a fabricated injury to me. Just like all democrat supposed accidents.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are socialists/progressives. They are part of the “hippy” crowd of the 1960′s. There is no difference in their political position than Barry’s position.
She will do what ever it takes to protect the administration. Did she realy fall or is this just a cover so she has an excuse not to testify.
I read in one of the conservative papers last week that Hillary wouldn’t be testifying. Her stomach virus, her fainting and her concussion took a few days to catch up to what had already been reported. In typical overkill fashion she has three excuses not just one.
Hillary has a past filled with forgetfulness and
we all will be watching carefully to see if this
latest ‘concussion’ puts her completely out of the
2016 campaign. She has taken total responsibility
for the Benghazi screwup which led to unnecessary
deaths of our best (prior to this latest blow to her
brain sack). Hope she completely recovers by the
day after the wrap-up of the Congressional Inquiry
into the Benghazi murders.
