FOX News Reports … CIA Operatives On the Ground in Benghazi Were Denied Request For Help Three Times

AMERICA SHOULD BE OUTRAGED AND DEMANDING ANSWERS OF ITS PRESIDENT. INSTEAD OBAMA JUST DODGES THE QUESTIONS AND HOPES YOU REELECT HIM.

This is simply unacceptable and President Barack Obama needs to act like a President for once, face the American people and explain exactly what he knew and when he knew it.

FOX News is reporting that CIA operatives on the ground in Benghazi, Libya at the annex were denied requests for assistance, not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!!! 

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to “stand down,” according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to “stand down.”

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound.

Since when does America leave its people out to dry? How was there no help provided to  Americans and an American consulate under fire for over 7 hours? Instead, a drone flew overhead and provided real-time images back to the Obama Administration as that all sat on their hands and watched.

Because the Barack Obama Administration is all about transparency, eh? NOT! The Obama Administration tried to peddle to the America people that the Benghazi attack was caused by a tape. They knew within two hours of the attack what the real cause of the attack was.

Email obtained by FOX News (see email), show that within hours of the Benghazi, Libya Consulate attack, the US State Department and Obama Administration knew that the attack  was a terrorist event as an Al Qaeda linked terror group,  Ansar al Sharia, had claimed responsibility. More from the Gateway Pundit, the email was sent to State Department officials, White House officials, Secret Service officials at 6:07 PM EST on 9-11-12. I guess the terror attack and murders of four Americans in Benghazi was not “optimal” for Obama. Indeed. America, who politicized the Benghazi attack?

A series of internal State Department emails obtained by Fox News shows some of the initial assessments of last month’s deadly consulate attack in Libya, including one email within hours of the attack that noted the group Ansar al Sharia had claimed responsibility.

The emails provide some of the most detailed information to surface about what officials knew in the initial hours after the attack. And it again raises questions about why U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice, apparently based on intelligence assessments, would claim five days after the attack that it was a ‘spontaneous’ reaction to protests over an anti-Islam film.

Ansar al Sharia has been declared by the State Department to be an Al Qaeda-affiliated group. A member of the group suspected of participating in the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi has been arrested and is being held in Tunisia.

The emails obtained by Fox News were sent by the State Department to a variety of national security platforms, whose addresses have been redacted, including the White House Situation Room, the Pentagon, the FBI and the Director of National Intelligence.

Fox News was told that an estimated 300 to 400 national security figures received these emails in real time almost as the raid was playing out and concluding. People who received these emails work directly under the nation’s top national security, military and diplomatic officials, Fox News was told.

They are the most damning evidence to date that the obviously false story about a demonstration in response to a video was known to be a lie from the first time it was uttered by any administration official.

As Ambassador John Bolton said on Tuesday evening, if the video story is an attempt to cover something up, it is a truly stupid cover-up since it is impossible that the existence of these e-mails would not become known.

First it was a tape and now the Obama Administration is blaming Romney and Ryan for Benghazi?

Just when you thought that the Obama Administration could not get any worse … Barack Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter says that the only reason why the Benghazi, Libya consulate attack is an issue is because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

UNBELIEVABLE.

The Obama White House is incapable of taking responsibility for anything, including the lack of security and refused requests for a Marine detail in Benghazi. The result, a terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9-11 that say US Ambassador Stevens and three other murdered. Four people are dead and the Obama White House and State Department look like incompetent fools and Cutter wonders why this is a story? If we actually had a non-bias media, this story would be a far bigger scandal than Watergate ever was. The deceit from the Obama WH is beyond comment. First they play the blame game on the economy and now the aftermath of the deaths of four Americans? As aptly stated by the Lonely Conservative, “it is reckless and irresponsible is leaving our diplomats in an unsafe area without security and then lying about it.”

UPDATE I: The Romney campaign responded to Cutter’s remark in a statement Thursday afternoon:

“President Obama’s campaign today said that Libya is only an issue because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. They’re wrong. The reason it is an issue is because, for the first time since 1979, an American ambassador was assassinated and President Obama’s foreign policy strategy of ‘leading from behind’ is failing. This administration has continually misled the American public about what happened in Benghazi and, rather than be truthful about the sequence of events, has instead skirted responsibility and dodged questions. The American people deserve straight answers about this tragic event and a president who can provide leadership, not excuses.”

In the end, this is what a failed Administration does, blame and deflect from the past four years. The America People deserve answers and the Obama WH just wants to stall and play a four corners offense and hope they win reelection.

Ahmed Wali Karzai, the Half-Brother of Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai, Assassinated By His own Security – Taliban Takes Credit

Ahmed Wali Karzai,  the half brother of  Afghanistan’s president  Hamid Karzai, has been shot dead by one of his long time bodyguards. The Taliban has taken credit for the assassination. Ahmed Wali Karzai was shot twice by his long time head of security Sardar Mohammed, who was himself killed almost immediately. This should add some further instability to an already unstable situation in Afghanistan.

One of his bodyguards shot him on Tuesday at his house, a heavily-fortified compound in Kandahar city, Zalmay Ayoubi, spokesperson for the governor of Kandahar province said.

“A guard of Ahmed Wali Karzai named Sardar Mohammad opened fire and killed him. The other guards shot and killed Sardar Mohammad,” Mr Ayoubi said. The motive for the shooting was not immediately clear.

President Karzai held a press conference in Kabul:

President Karzai held a press conference in Kabul with French President Nicolas Sarkozy barely two hours after the shooting and, speaking in a steady voice, confirmed his brother’s death. “This is the life of Afghan people, this sorrow is in every Afghan home, everyone of us has this sorrow,” he said.
